Three Towers Game

When the journey to the Desire Tower ended, Wen Xishu returned to the Ark once more, and the surrounding scene hadn’t changed much.

But some of the people who had died came back to life — such as the Ark’s General Renault. This was quite reasonable, as changing certain things at the source led to changes in the future.

As a result, Renault did not die in the small world of Sirius.

At this point, the challenge of the Deceit Tower had shifted from awakening Sirius to awakening the people of the Ark. This even included Antoine, Nikola, and Renault, who were formerly Ability Users.

But it did not include Von Neumann.

In other words, the future captain’s vulnerability path had become stronger, but it was no longer aimed at just Sirius, but at everyone.

Yet Wen Xishu had already completed all the challenges.

This scene was not unfamiliar to Wen Xishu.

The Desire Tower had changed the source, which meant that the corresponding Deceit Tower would also change. The difficulty of levels might downgrade, or possibly not, due to many other unexplored factors; it just changed.

Wen Xishu’s current experience was not much different from his previous experience in the Deceit Tower; he needed to find lost concepts in worlds with strange rules, except now he was avoiding the Captain and Von Neumann’s mental sweeps instead of the Evil Sea Giant Beast.

But because Sirius was no longer present, these worlds with strange rules were purely mental realms, which, for someone like Wen Xishu, who had considerable mental resistance and possessed Nightmare Forgiveness and Personality Party, were far easier than the previous version of the Deceit Tower.

Moreover, the pattern on the blue sun, although historically unprecedented... Wen Xishu still remembered it.

Yin Junchi’s sacrifice had brought returns; the pattern on the blue sun indeed had a magical effect, seemingly restraining the captain’s vulnerability path.

So the most important concept had been recovered by Wen Xishu, and he knew how to return this concept to everyone’s mind.

When Wen Xishu opened his eyes, he immediately understood the simulated result.

”The storyline of the Desire Tower has changed, and the current mission of the Deceit Tower has become to awaken everyone. As before, with the end of the Desire Tower journey, the Deceit Tower journey is nearly completed too.”

”But now, I’ve returned to the correct timeline. Compared to the Desire Tower, this is a future version of it...”

”So, is Horn here?”

”Have I awakened Horn once more?”

Wen Xishu wished to try contacting Horn, but he lacked such an ability. As more and more people woke up, the Ark soon buzzed with activity.

The captain intending to enslave everyone, turning everyone into ’nourishment,’ as well as the Ark’s greatest fighter Von Neumann, they clearly had more sinister plans. After Sirius was rescued, they seemed to find a replacement method.

But now, everything was sabotaged by Wen Xishu.

Wen Xishu suddenly understood why the favorability with Pisces had decreased even more...

”I see, I get it now, I didn’t expect there to be such a layer of causality.”

”I’m well aware that Horn’s obsession is to save the Ark and liberate the Ark. He could risk his life for it.”

”In the Desire Tower, although I rescued Sirius, if I had chosen to bring Horn along, then Horn wouldn’t have become the later Li·Horn.”

”Naturally, Horn’s subsequent fate wouldn’t have existed. Then the Captain, Von Neumann, and even these people or gods of Pisces, although they lost Sirius, their subsequent rectification plan wouldn’t have encountered any obstacles.”

”But because I utilized the file reading ability left by Scorpio...”

”Horn’s fate had a follow-up. He changed some things, which also led to Scorpio’s favorability toward me increasing more, while Pisces’ favorability decreased further.”

”This is really interesting.”

”Horn must still be on this Ark; this awakening must have greatly benefited Horn.”

Wen Xishu wished to stay a bit longer, so he could use the time delay of the Deceit Tower to know what Horn had done.

Horn’s experiences were indeed rich.

As a non-Longxia person, who couldn’t move his legs, Horn also entered the time turbulence, but Horn was different from Wen Xishu.

Wen Xishu’s main mission was to save Sirius.

While Horn’s was to explore the world outside the Ark, seeking means to counterbalance the captain and others.

The Free State’s Doomsday Evasion Plan was the Ark Plan, while Longxia’s Doomsday Evasion Plan was the Dragon Hidden Chosen Plan and the underground fortresses.

When everyone chose to abandon the fortresses and seek refuge in Wind City—

Even if Horn also entered Wind City, and even if Horn knew it would be safer to stay in Wind City... still, he chose to leave Wind City.

It was simple, Wind City was a safe haven, and the ordinary people stationed there believed that the monstrous entities with red auras would protect them.

But these monsters might be having the same thought. This had already become a refuge, converted into a correct answer by a powerful existence.

All the creatures here, although many were powerful, their personalities seemed more inclined to guard rather than expand.

So Horn left Wind City and went to a particularly dangerous place.

But all of this was unknown to Wen Xishu, and even in the future timeline, Wind City’s Wen Xishu also had no knowledge of any of this.

As the countdown to return appeared…

Wen Xishu suddenly realized that this seemed not to be his journey.
