Three Towers Game

Chapter 486: Chapter 147: The True Way to Play the Labyrinth Train_5

F*ck.

Is this illegal? No, it’s not. But Wen Xishu really doesn’t want to label these fawning guys and tea girls as good people.

”I really hope I don’t run into their creepy carriage. I get the feeling... it would be even more twisted than that family of three.”

From this perspective, Wen Xishu thought the most normal one was that business owner.

But the problem was, there was also the ”owner” of the female college student on the train.

It couldn’t be two migrant workers or robbers, right?

It shouldn’t be the father from that family of three, should it?

The trafficker was a woman, so that’s even less likely.

The old tea seller could be excluded immediately.

It seems like it could only be this small business owner...

Haha, wonderful, all villains on board.

Wen Xishu laughed in disbelief.

”If the standard of good and evil wasn’t the law but was based on my moral bottom line, that would be great...”

Wen Xishu started to ask the female attendant.

The response was:

”I don’t want to have children, I feel so much pressure now, who wants to get married anyways? I have to work hard to earn money and shut my parents up.”

Wen Xishu couldn’t help but applaud.

This female attendant was the most normal one so far. He had no objections to someone not wanting to get married and have children, and he didn’t love to express any similar comments, as it was purely personal freedom.

”Finally, there’s a normal person in this carriage...”

”But let’s hope you don’t say anything shocking in carriage 08.”

By the end, only three people remained without inquiries.

They were the male attendant, the trafficker, and the little girl next to her.

The little girl had some issues, but in Wen Xishu’s eyes, they didn’t seem too serious.

He had a strong feeling that the attendant might spill some explosive news.

Wen Xishu first inquired about the little girl.

About her past experiences. But this answer was still very brief, not much richer than the ones from carriage 01.

The little girl looked at Wen Xishu, tears welling up in her eyes:

”My toys... were all broken, all left behind at the orphanage.”

This sentence revealed nothing significant.

”Orphanage?” Wen Xishu took notice of this word.

A trafficker abducted a child from an orphanage... that did sound a bit unusual.

It seemed like the trafficker might have even caused some damage to the orphanage?

Wen Xishu inquired the trafficker again.

”The sky is going to change, so many children... the sky is going to change!”

Since carriage 01, Wen Xishu had been noticing the trafficker.

And in carriage 02, Wen Xishu saw countless children too. These children appeared quickly and disappeared just as fast, turning into rows of white footprints...

All of this seemed to hint, no, even directly indicated that this trafficker had abducted many children.

But now thinking about it, it did seem like too many children.

While passing through carriage 02, Wen Xishu thought... what kind of astonishing organized group could this be?

That could abduct so many children?

He knew most traffickers acted in gangs, but to abduct so many...

That’s really rare.

And now, from the trafficker’s mouth, Wen Xishu heard this phrase—the sky is going to change, so many children.

What do they mean?

Do you think even you’ve abducted too many children?

Something’s wrong...

Wen Xishu felt something was off, but at that moment, he couldn’t pinpoint it.

”I can’t brand her as evil just yet...”

”If I do it now, the police will take her away immediately, and then she won’t be in carriage 08 anymore.”

”This game is rather sinister... traffickers and robbers are the easiest to spot. Also the most obvious ’villains’. But I’m afraid, they hold the real clues to the villains!”

Wen Xishu turned his gaze to the last person.

The male attendant.

He inquired about the male attendant’s past:

”Almost there. I hope they don’t find me, after all, I’m injured too, haha, there’s no rule that says I have to fight to the death, right? I’m not a security guard.”

”The next tunnel... it’s several kilometers long.”

No surprise there.

Wen Xishu, by then, was used to it.

”It seems like this attendant definitely has significant problems... is he planning something in the next tunnel?”

Whenever the train went through a tunnel, it would go dark. Due to the daylight, the train’s lights weren’t fully on.

At that time, visibility wouldn’t be zero, but the view would certainly be much dimmer.

That moment might be when certain criminals act.

Currently, Wen Xishu’s targets for villains—

the trafficker, the male attendant, and the two robbers.

”Labeling someone wrongly as good isn’t a big deal, but labeling someone wrongly as evil, marking a good person... the game ends immediately.”

”So, there must still be evil hiding... but without sufficient evidence, I can’t move.”

”I can still label two more as good. For now, the one I’m most willing to label as good... is the female attendant. But this train is too strange.”

It’s quite possible that no one on this train is normal. So the more normal the female attendant appeared, the more Wen Xishu felt there might be a twist.

”Let’s see what tool the old man gives me, then.”

Wen Xishu didn’t delay any longer and headed towards carriage 05. In this round, with three good and three evil labels, he had only stuck one good label on the old tea seller.

As for the others, Wen Xishu planned to observe more, going by the eerie scenes of the strange carriages and the feedback from carriage 08...

Only then could he decide how to distribute the good and evil labels.

He had a guess... maybe the distribution of good and evil labels had something to do with the invitation letter.

...

...

Carriage 05.

The three police officers were gone, Wen Xishu was sure they would only appear in carriages 04, 08, and 012.

With the three police officers gone, carriage 05 looked almost identical to carriage 01.

Wen Xishu couldn’t help but think:

”Every time I saw a different scene compared to carriage 01, the eerie events started.”

”What if... what if I don’t look?”

Wen Xishu lowered his head, letting his gaze fall on the floor. He didn’t plan to look for abnormalities.

According to the previous rules, the oddities happened in the carriage only after Wen Xishu noticed the unusual points.

So he planned to try not looking.

But as soon as he did, at the moment he lowered his head... Wen Xishu felt it, whispers echoing in his ears, as if something around him was quietly talking.

In the next instant, Wen Xishu also heard the sound of knocking on windows.

He had just given up observing for a little while when he immediately felt all sorts of eerie phenomena were about to envelop the entire carriage.

Wen Xishu quickly raised his head, scanning his eyes around.

At that moment, the hands outside the windows disappeared, the whispers in his ears also vanished. Wen Xishu discovered... everyone was standing up.

Every passenger who had been sitting quietly stood up, all their eyes locked on him.

Sixteen strange smiling faces made Wen Xishu’s heart shudder.

Fortunately, when Wen Xishu resumed observing, giving up the idea of ”not looking”...

Quickly, those people turned around, facing the front of the carriage, slowly sitting back down.

Before long, everything returned to normal.

It seemed as if there was no difference from before. But Wen Xishu soon noticed the inconsistency in the carriage...

The female attendant.

This time it was the female attendant’s turn.

Wen Xishu found on the female attendant’s cart containing various goods...

The goods were nowhere to be seen.

Instead, it was covered by a white cloth emitting a foul smell.

Wen Xishu, however, remained calm.

He leaned against the door, ready to retreat at any moment.

Of course, he wasn’t sure if retreating would bring additional penalties.

Wen Xishu waited patiently as the cart drew nearer and nearer.

Finally, the female attendant suddenly stopped:

”Sir, you’re here. What would you like to buy?”

The white cloth covered the cart, with something wriggling underneath.

Wen Xishu said:

”What do you have to sell?”
