Three Towers Game

Chapter 468: Revised: Chapter 144 Ancient Power_3

Wen Xishu was a bit annoyed:

”No facilities provided, no experience increase... What does that mean?”

The guide said:

”It’s not that the experience didn’t increase, it’s just that your experience points are now increasing very slowly. Indeed, every game has an initial stage where even killing a chicken can level you up, but that’s short-lived.”

”Moreover... in such a huge multi-player mission, hehe, you’re playing too orderly. To be honest, this is not like the you from before.”

Wen Xishu was stunned.

He understood what the guide meant, and he knew one thing—the fewer the survivors, the greater the rewards.

So... in a mission with hundreds of people, if only a few people are left at the end, the benefits are the highest.

Could Wen Xishu do it?

Of course he could, in a group of hundreds of people, with only him having high anti-magic resistance... his word was law.

It could be said that in this mission, if Wen Xishu wanted to slaughter, he could kill them all cleanly.

After all, the items from the jars, others didn’t know their properties, but Wen Xishu could lie about them. For example, someone could get a key, but what the key does, that’s up to Wen Xishu.

”It’s not my first or second time doing a mission. They trust me, I have to give something back.” Wen Xishu said.

The guide laughed, ”Huhuhuhuhu, as far as I know, you’re not someone who easily trusts others.”

Wen Xishu did not deny:

”But I can tell when everyone’s interests align.”

The guide stopped talking about this topic and just said:

”You’re starting to have attachments, huhuhuhuhu. But there are rewards for playing the dark way and rewards for playing the righteous way.”

”Although you didn’t get any facility rewards this time, and your level hasn’t changed, your performance was indeed the best in the whole team. For such a huge multi-player mission, there are ways to play and rewards for both the dark and righteous paths. You can check your items.”

Only then did Wen Xishu remember that he actually had an item.

The Godslayer’s Finger.

The finger, in the mission area, can determine if there is something dirty in the jar.

Outside the instance, it becomes a consumable. Consuming the finger can grant ”spiritual sense.”

It’s probably similar to the ”resonance” he felt when he saw Tang Rui, which can help him locate a ”special existence” in an area more quickly.

But honestly, after getting the Compass, Wen Xishu didn’t need this ability that much, so he didn’t care too much.

But when Wen Xishu checked his items... he was still shocked.

”Why are there so many fingers?” Wen Xishu looked at the guide in amazement.

In Wen Xishu’s item bar, Finger x1 had turned into Finger x10.

In simple terms, from a Godslayer’s Finger to Godslayer’s Hands.

”Before telling the story, let me tell you something. Involving a huge multi-player mission, the person who performs the best can choose to take the lone wolf approach or the team leader approach. Your approach is the team leader approach.”

”Although because you saved everyone, the mission rewards were divided into hundreds of parts, and although your share is high~ it’s not as much as the lone wolf. But there is a compensation for the team leader.”

”For instance, this time, the item you received is ten times the original.”

Wen Xishu nodded, thinking it was reasonable.

”What a pity, if only I had two hundred death row inmates, all with terrible morals and character, wouldn’t that be great.”

Unknowingly, Wen Xishu had already set many restrictions on himself regarding killing teammates.

The guide continued:

”Since you got a full set of ten fingers... I have to tell the next part of the story.”

”The first founder of the Godslayer Church was named Arnold. Arnold’s ten fingers all contained Tower material.”

”But Arnold, and the witch you learned about in this mission, weren’t the earliest to contact the Tower. Others also made contact later.”

”Their bodies are all items, all can be consumed as resources, they are great supplements.”

”They will activate a new mission route.”

”Uh, let me give you an example. If you just consume one finger, you might feel that your five senses became a bit sharper, your perception of special existences slightly improved.”

”But if you consume ten fingers, you can activate some new things. Specifically what, I don’t know either, huhuhuhuhu, quantitative changes lead to qualitative changes~”

”Not just Arnold, in the future, you will encounter some ancient line missions, collecting the bodies of other non-apocalyptic Tower Power holders, their bodies similarly might grant you extra power.”

”And those ancient items, you can use the legacy you’ve obtained, which is the Three Towers Sequence 35: Tower Power Absorption, to get Tower Power Value, which is extremely rare energy. You can think of it as a special energy bar. Trust me, whether it’s items or the sequence’s special skills, as long as they can be activated, they will greatly change your situation.”

”So now, you can try consuming them~ huhuhuhuhuhuhu~”

Wen Xishu looked at the ten fingers... and really had no appetite at all.

He didn’t expect that to become stronger, he had to do something like Zheng Zai.

”Can’t I just extract the Tower Power Value from them?” Wen Xishu really didn’t want to eat.

”Of course not. The fingers are part of the body and must be consumed. Only items that have separated from the body can be extracted.”
