Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill

Chapter 45: He has gone mad!!

Vritra stood up, looked around, then walked to a clean corner with his chair and sat down. As he felt the luck pouring in, he used another key.

[Used 1 free Sin Key, Sin Keys left: 8]

The wheel rotated and again...

{Better luck next time.}

”Damn, am I that unlucky? No, this place is just filled with negativity. Hoo, it’s alright, there are still eight chances. But how do I get more luck?” Vritra pondered and looked around. Soon, his gaze landed on the white dragon lady who had silently followed along with him.

”Aren’t dragons supposed to bring good luck? My dear wife, will you use your divine abilities and bring me a lot of good luck?” Vritra spoke in an eager tone.

”But many people even believe that dragons bring bad luck...” Yasmine replied, wondering how she could bring good luck for him. But she couldn’t withstand those sparkling eyes.

After pondering for a moment, she slowly descended and gently landed over his shoulder. Her small body coiled around his neck, with her head resting on his shoulder. Even though she was in her soul form, if she wished, she could still be touched.

”Are you ready?” Vritra asked.

Yasmine didn’t know what being ready meant here, but she nodded nonetheless. Then, taking a deep breath, Vritra muttered:

”HALLELUJAH!!”

Then he inserted another key into the wheel as it began to rotate.

INHALE

EXHALE

After a few deep breaths, Vritra looked at the new messages.

{An active skill acquired: Fourth Dimension!!}

”!!!”

”Woah, I got a new skill! You really are lucky for me.” Vritra almost wanted to hold and kiss Yasmine, but he stopped himself in time. Still, he patted her head lovingly.

Not wanting to waste this high luck, he hastily inserted another key into the Divine Sin Wheel as it began to rotate rapidly.

...

{Better luck next time.}

”Damn, did the luck already end? My lovely wifey, you are letting the luck escape; try to tighten around me a little and hold the luck in place.” Vritra said in a serious tone.

Yasmine: ”...”

She was seriously wondering if this was really the person who survived in that impossible condition—the handsome and brave warrior, her fearless and awesome husband.

But she complied with his wishes. Her long body that was hanging loosely circled around his chest, and she slightly tightened her body around him, not enough to hurt him, while her head still rested over his shoulder.

”Here we go again. Please, just one more time, give something good.” He again inserted the key.

...

{Better luck next time.}

”Tch, wifey, you aren’t trying your best. Try to tighten a little more.” Vritra put all the blame on Yasmine.

’Is he developing strange fetishes after marrying a dragon? How is this going to bring luck?’ Yasmine questioned in her mind but tightened her grip around his body.

COUGH

All the air escaped from his lungs and his face began to turn red, but Vritra persevered and inserted another key.

And then...

{You have acquired two Universal Treasure Maps.}

”I k- knew it—COUGH COUGH Yasmine, you are the best, I love you so much. Marrying you was the best mistak- cough accident of my life.” Vritra said excitedly while barely able to breathe. He caressed her smooth body, then added another key, and another, and another.

{Better luck next time.}

{Better luck next time.}

{Better luck next time.}

Vritra: ”...”

”M- More... ughh, tighten a bit more—cough.” Vritra almost coughed out blood as he spoke. Yasmine definitely was quite strong even now. A little of her strength had returned after drinking those soul potions.

’CRAZY, don’t tell me there is something wrong with that wheel. I can’t choke my husband to death—sigh, where is his switch off button?’ Yasmine sighed and tightened just a bit more, as the crackling sound of his bones being on the verge of breaking sounded.

Vritra held his breath, his face as red as a tomato and body shaking, then inserted the final key into the wheel and it began to rotate rapidly.

One breath...

Two breaths...

Three breaths...

Then finally, a wonderful message appeared in front of him.

{A hybrid skill acquired: Shift!!}

”WE DID IT!!!” Vritra shouted in joy as he held Yasmine’s head and kissed her forehead. Her body finally softened and he was able to breathe.

He noticed that the pain disappeared almost instantly—a rate several times faster than even his lesser healing skill.

”Are you alright? I- I think you need rest. Can you recognise me? Are you possessed?” Yasmine finally floated into the air and asked with worry.

”I am perfectly fine! Look what I have obtained. The Divine Sin Wheel is definitely a great treasure. We obtained three—wait, four great things. Now let’s check them out.” Vritra spoke while rubbing his palms together, a wide grin spreading across his face.

”Oh? What did you get?” Yasmine forgot all about the earlier madness and moved closer to him. Then her gaze focussed on his status window, which she could see since he allowed her to.

Now the new section seemed a little filled, but first, he focussed on the imaginary objects that had appeared in his mind.

[UNIVERSAL TREASURE MAP]:

(QUANTITY): 2

DESCRIPTION:The universal treasure map gives you the detailed location of the greatest treasures present closest to you.

”Nice, a great thing indeed.” Vritra nodded in great satisfaction. These maps alone were priceless. If he wasn’t wrong, he might even be able to find treasures at the level of Mythic Halos.

Feeling even more excited, he finally looked at the first skill in his status window’s new section.

++++++++++++++++

{DIVINE SIN WHEEL}:

[1 SIN KEY: 10,000 sin points.]

(Sin Keys available: 0)

(Special Note: A certain percentage of obtaining something depends on your luck value. So current possibility of obtaining a reward = Luck value + Divine Sin Wheel’s Odds = 1.5%)

[ACTIVE SKILLS]:

{Fourth Dimension}

(Skill Description):A single space isn’t enough to accommodate you, so disappear.

++++++++++++++++

Vritra began to read from the beginning of the new section. First, he saw the cost of 1 Sin Key, but since he wasn’t sure how Sin Points were acquired, he didn’t know if that 10,000 was very high or not.

Anyway, right now that wasn’t important. His gaze quickly shifted toward his new skill, whose name alone sounded quite cool. He read the description but couldn’t understand anything.

”Is it explaining something or trying to mock me?” Vritra wondered.

”Give it a try, I want to see what it does.” Yasmine was even more excited than him. She circled on his shoulder and almost squeezed his neck in her curiosity and excitement.

”Alright, get ready.” Vritra spoke and used the new skill.

[Fourth Dimension Activated!!]

And in the next moment, Vritra disappeared from existence.
