Helping Beautiful Women Become Stronger, I Have a Love System

146: Chapter 146 Kidnapping Zhao TianyuHe picked up the phone and dialed another number.

”Hello, Old Fourth, it’s me.”

His voice regained its calm, even carrying a hint of gentleness.

”I have a bit of trouble that needs handling. Money is no object; I want it clean and professional.”

Something was said on the other end of the line.

Chairman Zhao nodded. ”Yes, a man and a woman, outsiders. I’ll send you their details. Remember, it has to look like an accident.”

Hanging up, Chairman Zhao walked to the window and looked out at Nanhe County in the night.

This was his kingdom.

He had started from scratch here, going from a construction site laborer to a real estate tycoon, from a poor kid to a philanthropist.

He couldn’t allow anyone to destroy all of this.

”No matter who you are...” he whispered, a cold light flickering in his eyes. ”To fight me in Nanhe County—you’ve chosen the wrong place.”

But for some reason, the bald man’s trembling voice kept echoing in his mind.

That person had said, ”I’ll let him know the meaning of true pain.”

Chairman Zhao yanked the curtains shut, as if eyes were staring at him from outside the window.

That night, Nanhe County’s philanthropist, Chairman Zhao, suffered from insomnia for the first time.

Meanwhile, in the hotel, Cao Kun stood by the window, watching the police lead the thugs away.

Xiao Baihe hugged him from behind, her cheek pressed against his broad back.

”Cao Kun,” she said softly, ”thank you. Not just for Xiao Jing, but also for that little girl today.”

Cao Kun held her hand. ”This is just the beginning. Chairman Zhao won’t let this go; he’ll send more people.”

”Then we...”

”Dealing with a hypocrite like Chairman Zhao, a direct attack is too inefficient. To crush him, we must find what he treasures most.”

”And what Chairman Zhao cares about most is his son, Zhao Tianyu.”

”This eighteen-year-old boy is attending university in the provincial capital and is the perfect heir in Chairman Zhao’s eyes.”

”To outsiders, Zhao Tianyu has excellent grades and is polite, fully inheriting his father’s public image as a ’philanthropist’.”

”But after these few days of investigation, I know his other side.”

”While at school, Zhao Tianyu has caused multiple accidents due to drunk driving, all of which Chairman Zhao settled with money. He also has a penchant for abusing small animals, once throwing a stray cat off the roof of a dormitory.”

”Like father, like son,” Cao Kun said, a cold light flashing in his eyes.

”So, we’ll start with Zhao Tianyu.”

”Do you really want to do this?” Xiao Baihe asked softly.

”It’s the most effective way.” Cao Kun turned around.

”Chairman Zhao doesn’t care about anything else—money, reputation, or even his own life.”

”But he cares about his son. That’s his weakness.”

Xiao Baihe was silent for a moment, then nodded. ”What do you need me to do?”

”Come with me to the provincial capital to ’invite’ Young Master Zhao as our guest.”

A cold arc curled at the corner of Cao Kun’s mouth.

...

To obtain information on Zhao Tianyu’s itinerary.

Cao Kun directly sought out a Private Detective.

Soon, news came back from the Private Detective.

After getting the information, Cao Kun waited for a day.

At nine o’clock the next morning, Cao Kun drove onto the highway leading to the provincial capital.

Zhao Tianyu had an elective course at 10:30 this morning, a student union charity fundraiser at 3:00 PM, and a dinner appointment with classmates at a high-end downtown restaurant at 7:00 PM.

A perfect schedule, a perfect facade.

Cao Kun stepped on the gas, and the car’s speed increased steadily.

His Advanced Driving Mastery skill allowed him to handle various road conditions with ease while remaining highly alert.

He checked the trunk.

Inside were ropes, duct tape, and other tools.

”There can’t be any oversights,” he told himself.

At 10:20 AM, Cao Kun arrived at the North Gate of the Provincial Capital University.

He parked the car on the roadside two hundred meters from the school gate, put on a baseball cap and a pair of ordinary glasses, and got out to blend into the crowd.

The Provincial Capital University was grand and magnificent, with students bustling about the entrance.

Cao Kun found a bench with a view of the school gate and sat down, opening his phone to pretend to read the news while keeping a constant eye on the flow of people coming and going.

At 10:35, a youth wearing designer sportswear and the latest headphones walked out of the school gate.

He was tall and handsome, walking with his head slightly tilted up, carrying the characteristic sense of superiority of a child from a wealthy family.

Zhao Tianyu.

Cao Kun stood up and followed at an appropriate distance.

Zhao Tianyu was completely unaware.

He walked to the roadside, took out his phone, and sent a voice message: ”The usual place, I’ll be there in ten minutes. Find me two pretty ones today, and make sure they’re clean.”

After sending the message, he hailed a taxi.

Cao Kun immediately returned to his car and followed the taxi, maintaining a distance of three car lengths.

After crossing half the city, the taxi stopped in front of a private club named ”Cloud’s End.”

On the surface, such places were high-end leisure clubs, but in reality, they provided various special services and were only open to members.

Zhao Tianyu walked into the club with practiced ease.

Cao Kun parked his car on the opposite street corner and waited patiently.

...

2:40 PM, Provincial Capital Central Park.

A banner for the ”University Student Charity Education Fundraiser” had already been hung, several long tables were set out, and a few students were setting up the venue.

The weather was fine, and there were many visitors in the Park.

Cao Kun parked his car on a relatively secluded path on the east side of the Park. It was about a five-minute walk from the event site and had several blind spots for surveillance cameras, making it an ideal location to strike.

He checked his equipment.

Everything was ready.

At 2:50, Zhao Tianyu’s figure appeared at the Park entrance.

He had changed into a casual suit, with a student union badge pinned to his chest and a gentle smile on his face, looking like a completely different person from the playboy at the club entrance that morning.

”Good acting,” Cao Kun commented in a low voice.

Zhao Tianyu greeted several classmates and began helping with the setup.

His behavior was proper and his speech elegant, perfectly fitting the image of the ”son of a philanthropist.”

A few passersby recognized him and came forward to ask for photos. He patiently complied, his smile never wavering.

Cao Kun observed quietly, waiting for his opportunity.

The event began promptly at 3:00.

Zhao Tianyu spoke as a student representative, his voice clear and his content full of positive energy.

There was rounds of applause from the audience, and several girls looked at him with eyes full of admiration.

At 3:40, Zhao Tianyu received a phone call. He walked to the side, his expression changing slightly, but he quickly regained his composure.

After hanging up, he said a few words to his classmates and walked toward the east side of the Park.

Exactly in the direction where Cao Kun was waiting.

The opportunity had arrived.

Cao Kun put on his gloves.

Just as Zhao Tianyu passed by Cao Kun’s car, the rear door opened silently.

A hand reached out, covered his mouth, and at the same time, a force dragged him into the car.

The whole process took less than two seconds, clean and efficient.

The car door closed.

Zhao Tianyu struggled to shout, but his mouth was held shut tightly.

”Don’t move, don’t make a sound,” a strange voice whispered in his ear. ”Cooperate, and you’ll live. Resist, and you die right now.”

Zhao Tianyu froze.

”W-what do you want? Money? My dad has plenty of money!” his voice trembled.

”Quiet.”

Cao Kun skillfully bound Zhao Tianyu’s hands and feet with rope and applied duct tape.

”I need you to have a video call with your father. Do as I say, and you won’t be hurt.”

Zhao Tianyu’s eyes widened. ”You know my dad? Are you his enemy?”

Cao Kun didn’t answer. Instead, he took out Zhao Tianyu’s phone and unlocked it with the boy’s fingerprint.

”Listen,” Cao Kun aimed the phone’s camera at Zhao Tianyu’s terrified face.

”I’m going to let your father see you like this. All you have to do is nod or shake your head. Don’t say anything extra. Nod if you understand.”

Zhao Tianyu hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

Cao Kun dialed the video call.
