Helping Beautiful Women Become Stronger, I Have a Love System

137: Chapter 137 Cao Kun’s PlanCao Kun’s plan was actually quite simple.

It was to have Xiao Baihe seduce Li Qiang and Wang Dahai.

Since Liu Hong and Zhang Cuihua claimed Xiao Baihe was shameless,

then she would become exactly what they said she was.

She would see if their husbands could withstand the temptation.

When Xiao Baihe reappeared at Unit 1, Building 3 of the Xiangxiao Residential Area, it was like a massive boulder being dropped into a calm lake.

It was Saturday afternoon, and the sunlight was exceptionally pleasant.

She was wearing a black turtleneck sweater and a wine-red pencil skirt that Cao Kun had bought for her.

Her legs were clad in thick black stockings, she wore five-centimeter stiletto heels, her large wavy curls cascaded over her shoulders, and her face was adorned with exquisite, light makeup.

Carrying a newly purchased leather handbag, her waist swayed gently as she walked, and the crisp, rhythmic clicking of her high heels echoed against the concrete ground.

Just as she reached the entrance of the unit, she encountered Zhang Cuihua and Liu Hong returning from the Supermarket.

The two women carried cheap plastic bags containing discounted vegetables and eggs.

When they saw Xiao Baihe, they both froze, their eyes widening as if they had seen a ghost.

“You... why are you back again?” Zhang Cuihua was the first to react, her tone full of disgust. “Didn’t you say you were moving out?”

Liu Hong sized Xiao Baihe up, a flash of jealousy crossing her eyes.

How did this woman suddenly become so beautiful?

How much did that outfit and makeup cost?

Xiao Baihe stopped in her tracks and gave a slight smile.

“I changed my mind,” she said softly. “I think it’s quite nice here, so I won’t be moving for the time being.”

“Not moving?” Liu Hong shrieked. “You still have the face to live here? You slut who seduces other people’s husbands!”

In the past, Xiao Baihe would have lowered her head and walked away or explained herself in tears upon hearing such words.

But now, she merely raised an eyebrow, her smile deepening. “Sister Liu Hong, you shouldn’t talk nonsense. Who did I seduce? Do you have evidence?”

“You... that day...”

“That day, your husband was drunk and tried to assault me. I pushed him away, and instead, you slapped me.”

Xiao Baihe spoke unhurriedly, “If this really escalates and the police are called, your husband would be charged with attempted indecent assault, and you would be charged with intentional injury. Who do you think the police will believe?”

Zhang Cuihua and Liu Hong were rendered speechless.

They hadn’t expected the usually cowardly Xiao Baihe to fight back like this.

Just then, footsteps came from the hallway.

Li Qiang and Wang Dahai came down together, clearly preparing to head out.

When the two men saw Xiao Baihe, their eyes went wide.

“Sister... Sister Xiao?” Li Qiang stammered, his gaze glued to her, unable to look away. “You... you’re really beautiful today.”

Wang Dahai also leaned in, rubbing his hands and chuckling. “Yeah, it’s like you’re a different person. Where are you heading?”

A wave of disgust welled up in Xiao Baihe’s heart, but the smile on her face remained unchanged.

“Just going to buy a few things. Brother Li, Brother Wang, are you two heading out?”

“Right, right, heading to the construction site to check things out,” Li Qiang said hurriedly. “Sister Xiao, where have you been these past few days? We were quite worried about you.”

Worried? Xiao Baihe sneered inwardly. They were probably worried they’d never see a beautiful woman again.

“Just handling some personal matters,” she said nonchalantly. “By the way, Brother Li, Brother Wang, can I add you on wechat? It’ll be easier to stay in touch if anything comes up.”

The two men’s eyes lit up, and they scrambled to pull out their phones.

Zhang Cuihua and Liu Hong stood nearby, their faces turning green with rage, yet they couldn’t easily lash out.

They couldn’t exactly tell their husbands not to add her on wechat right in front of them, could they?

Scanning the codes and adding her was done in one smooth motion.

“Then I’ll head up first.” Xiao Baihe gave the two men a sweet smile and turned to walk into the hallway.

The sound of her high heels echoed in the stairwell. She walked slowly, deliberately making her figure appear swaying and alluring.

She could feel four gazes behind her.

Two were greedy, and two were venomous.

Back in Room 101, Xiao Baihe closed the door and leaned against it, taking a deep breath.

This was the first time she had taken the initiative to do something like this, and her palms were covered in sweat.

Her phone vibrated; it was a wechat message from Cao Kun: “Well done. The camera is already installed in the green plant on the TV cabinet. It’s very well hidden. Proceed according to the plan.”

Xiao Baihe walked over to the TV cabinet and looked closely at the pothos plant. Sure enough, amidst the dense leaves, a small black lens was visible. It was impossible to notice without looking carefully.

She opened her phone and looked at the two newly added friends.

Li Qiang’s profile picture was a selfie of him wearing a hard hat at a construction site, with a simple, honest smile.

Wang Dahai’s profile picture was a truck, with the caption: ’Contact me for hauling goods.’

These were the two men who had once looked at her with such disgusting gazes, and whose wives had cursed her with the most vicious words.

Xiao Baihe gripped her phone tightly, a cold light flashing in her eyes.

...

At eight o’clock that night, Xiao Baihe began her move according to Cao Kun’s instructions.

She first sent a wechat message to Li Qiang: “Brother Li, are you asleep yet?”

The reply came almost instantly: “Not yet! Is something wrong, Sister Xiao?”

Xiao Baihe weighed her words carefully.

Cao Kun had taught her not to be too forward, but to play hard to get.

“It’s nothing, I’m just a bit bored being alone and wanted someone to talk to. You must have worked hard at the construction site today, right?”

“It’s not hard, not hard at all! Sister Xiao, are you home alone? Why don’t you go out for a stroll?”

“I’m new here and don’t know my way around, so I don’t know where to go.” Xiao Baihe sent a sighing emoji. “Brother Li, can I ask you a question?”

“Ask! Ask anything!”

“Do you think... I’m pretty?”

On the other end of the screen, Li Qiang’s heart pounded wildly as he read those words.

He stole a glance at Zhang Cuihua, who was watching TV in the living room.

She was busy cracking melon seeds and wasn’t paying attention to him.

“Pretty! Sister Xiao, you’re the prettiest woman I’ve ever seen!” His hands were shaking as he typed.

“Really? Then... how do I compare to your wife?”

This question made Li Qiang hesitate for a moment.

But thinking of Zhang Cuihua’s sallow face versus Xiao Baihe’s bright and moving beauty, he gritted his teeth: “Of course you’re prettier! That yellow-faced hag in my house can’t compare to you at all!”

Xiao Baihe sneered as she looked at the reply.

Men, indeed, could not withstand temptation.

“Brother Li, you’re quite the smooth talker. But you shouldn’t say things like that carelessly; your wife would be angry if she heard you.”

“Let her hear it! I’m telling the truth!” Li Qiang was filled with a sudden surge of bravado.

“Sister Xiao, to be honest with you, Cuihua and I haven’t had any feelings for a long time. We’ve been sleeping in separate beds for years. If it weren’t for the kid, we would’ve divorced long ago.”

“Really? Then... if I asked you to divorce her and marry me, would you be willing?”

Xiao Baihe felt disgusted with herself after sending that sentence.

But for the sake of the plan, she had to say it.

Li Qiang’s reply came quickly: “I’m willing! Of course I’m willing! Sister Xiao, just say the word, and I’ll go get a divorce tomorrow!”

Xiao Baihe didn’t reply again.

Cao Kun had said to keep him dangling and not let him get a response too easily.

She switched to the chat interface with Wang Dahai and followed the same pattern.
