Helping Beautiful Women Become Stronger, I Have a Love System

121: Chapter 121 Preparing for the Rescue”The youngest one is Xiao Yun. She’s only eighteen. She came to Zhongzhou to look for work and was forcibly pulled into a car at the train station... She’s been locked up for a month... Her mental state is on the verge of collapsing...”

”And Lin Xiaoyan, the girl who looked at you with hatred just now. She was tricked into coming here by her boyfriend... He owed Brother Qiang gambling debts and couldn’t pay them back, so he sold her...”

”Animals.” Cao Kun squeezed the words through his teeth.

”There’s even worse...” Xiao Li’s voice trembled.

”They... they film videos... forcing us to film those kinds of videos to sell online for money... If we don’t film, they beat us, beat us to death... Xiao Yun was because she refused to film, she was...”

She couldn’t go on, covered her mouth, and began to cry suppressedly.

Cao Kun closed his eyes and took a deep breath. When he opened them again, there was cold killing intent in his eyes.

”Didn’t you think about calling the police?”

”We did...” Xiao Li sobbed, ”Xiao Yun tried. She begged a customer to call the police while she was with him... but she was found out... Brother Qiang, right in front of us... tortured her with an electric baton... shocked her for half an hour... Xiao Yun fainted and woke up again... and then... then A Biao and Laoshu dragged her to a room... since then, no one dared to try anymore...”

Cao Kun imagined the atrocities the eighteen-year-old girl had endured here, and his stomach churned.

”Listen.” He lowered his voice, ”I will get you all out, but I need a plan. You cooperate with me and act, don’t let them get suspicious.”

Xiao Li nodded vigorously, a flicker of hope reigniting in her eyes: ”Are you... are you really going to save us?”

”I promise,” Cao Kun said, ”but not right now. Only Brother Qiang is outside, but there might be accomplices upstairs. If we force our way out, your lives might be in danger.”

Actually, it wasn’t that Cao Kun hadn’t thought about using force directly.

However, he didn’t know much about Brother Qiang’s trio and was afraid they might have some weapons.

Moreover, the three of them weren’t all here.

If he acted rashly now, he was afraid of alerting the enemy.

He took five hundred yuan from his wallet and stuffed it into her hand: ”This is the ’service fee.’ When you go out, act naturally. I’ll be back.”

Xiao Li took the money, her eyes filled with complex emotions: ”What... what is your name?”

”Cao Kun.”

”Big Brother Cao...” Xiao Li grabbed his hand, her tears falling again, ”Please, you must save us... I... I don’t want to die here...”

”You won’t die here,” Cao Kun said. ”I promise.”

They stayed in the room for twenty minutes.

Then Cao Kun deliberately messed up the sheets, and Xiao Li also tidied her hair and clothes to make herself look like she had been working.

When they lifted the curtain and went out, Brother Qiang was sitting at the stairs playing with his phone. Seeing them, he grinned: ”So fast? Brother, you’re not that good, are you?”

Cao Kun pretended to be embarrassed: ”Drank too much, not in good form. I’ll come back next time.”

He handed Brother Qiang three hundred yuan.

Brother Qiang took the money and patted Cao Kun on the shoulder: ”You’re welcome anytime. Next time I’ll introduce you to someone younger, I guarantee you’ll be satisfied.”

Cao Kun smiled and didn’t say anything.

Brother Qiang saw him upstairs and out the back door.

Outside, the cold wind blew, and Cao Kun took a deep breath, feeling the foul air in his lungs being replaced.

Back in the car, he sat for a long time, his hands still shaking.

It wasn’t fear, it was anger.

Six girls, three criminals.

Basement, imprisonment, abuse, forced prostitution, filming obscene videos, gang rape...

This had already exceeded the scope of ordinary crime; it was pure evil.

These people didn’t deserve to be called human; they were animals, demons.

This scum must pay the price.

He needed to ensure the safety of the girls.

A direct assault wouldn’t work; he had to outsmart them.

A plan began to take shape in his mind.

...

It was already 2 AM when he got home.

Cao Kun washed up and lay on the bed.

The faces of the six girls appeared in his mind one after another.

Xiao Li’s pleading eyes, Xiao Yun’s vacant gaze, Lin Xiaoyan’s hateful stare...

And the scene of that Basement.

Rusted iron bars, filthy mattresses, moldy spots on the walls, and the air of despair.

He had to rescue these girls as soon as possible.

...

The next day, Cao Kun began to take action.

He bought several miniature cameras through special channels—pinhole-sized, which could be pinned to a collar or disguised as buttons.

He also bought a voice recorder and hid it in his belt buckle.

At 7 PM, he called Liang Lingmeng.

Liang Lingmeng’s voice came from the other end of the phone, carrying a hint of fatigue, ”What made you think of calling me?”

”I need your help with something,” Cao Kun said bluntly.

”Speak.”

”I’ve found a forced prostitution den where girls are being held captive.” Cao Kun paused, ”Quite a few of them, six.”

There was silence on the other end for a few seconds, followed by the sound of a chair being dragged.

Liang Lingmeng’s voice became serious: ”Address? Specific details?”

”No. 89 Xinglong Street, a three-story self-built house. There are iron-barred cubicles in the Basement, with six girls locked inside.”

”Three men guarding them. Known weapons include knives and electric batons.”

”The girls are abused, forced to take customers, and they even film videos.”

”How do you know?” Liang Lingmeng asked.

”I’ve been inside,” Cao Kun didn’t hide it, ”disguised as a customer.”

”Cao Kun!” Liang Lingmeng’s voice rose, ”Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?”

”I know,” Cao Kun said calmly, ”That’s why I’m looking for you. I need the police to intervene, but we can’t alert the enemy. Once they notice, they might harm the hostages or destroy evidence.”

Liang Lingmeng took a deep breath: ”What evidence do you have?”

”Some video and audio recordings, but they’re incomplete. I need more.”

”Send me what you have, and I’ll arrange for people immediately.”

”Wait,” Cao Kun said, ”I need you to cooperate with me in an act. Don’t take large-scale action yet. Give me two days to collect the rest of the evidence, and then we’ll coordinate from inside and out.”

”It’s too risky,” Liang Lingmeng objected. ”You should pull out now and leave the rest to the police.”

”Leave it to the police?” Cao Kun sneered, ”And then what? A direct assault? Those girls might die. Or they might realize beforehand, move the hostages, destroy the evidence, and in the end, nothing will come of it.”

”Lingmeng, you know better than I do. Without solid evidence, it’s hard to get a heavy sentence for this kind of case.”

Liang Lingmeng went silent.

She knew Cao Kun was right.

Forced prostitution and illegal detention—these charges wouldn’t lead to a very long sentence unless there was more serious evidence.

Intentional injury, rape, or even murder.

”What do you want to do?” she finally asked.

”I’ll go in one more time to get the key evidence. Then you send someone to back me up. Once I get the hostages out, you guys rush in and make the arrests,” Cao Kun said. ”Give me two reliable plainclothes officers to stand by on the perimeter.”

”If you’re found out?”

”I have a way to get out.”
