The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

A small frame appeared in the upper left corner of the TV screen, showing Little Taotie shortly after she arrived at the hotel, sitting at the small bar in the hotel lobby, swinging her feet and eating strawberry cake.

In the center of the lobby, there was a black piano, with a graceful young girl in a white dress playing it.

Little Taotie wasn’t lying.

However, the staff playing the role of the police didn’t let her off just like that and instead pointed at the surveillance video and asked, ”At thirty minutes, you left.”

”You didn’t come back until forty minutes. During that time, where did you go? What did you do?”

Little Taotie tilted her head and thought for a moment: ”I went to the restroom once.”

”The restroom doesn’t have surveillance, so it can’t prove your alibi.”

Little Taotie felt the police were giving her a hard time.

If it weren’t for knowing this was a program, the little girl would have already taken out her Special Department credentials.

Little Taotie pouted, sulking: ”But I really just went to the restroom.”

Gu Yixing anxiously knocked on the door: ”Why isn’t it done yet? How long do you plan to ask questions?”

The police opened the door, and seeing Little Taotie’s aggrieved little face, Gu Yixing knew she was being given a hard time, and immediately pointed at the staff to question: ”Have you been giving her a hard time?”

”Sir, please don’t be aggressive. We’re just performing our duties, asking a few necessary questions.”

Gu Yixing didn’t pay attention to him and instead crouched down to ask Little Taotie: ”Sister, are they giving you a hard time?”

Little Taotie sighed, looking a bit helpless: ”I went to the restroom, but they said the restroom has no surveillance and can’t count as my alibi.”

Gu Yixing became furious, standing up and glaring fiercely at the staff.

”No surveillance in the restroom, but there’s none on the way to the restroom either? Are you kidding? Suspecting a young girl of murder? The victim weighs at least two hundred pounds—”

The police interrupted him: ”Are you saying that at two hundred pounds, the victim is not someone a little girl could handle?”

Another police officer lowered his voice: ”She’s different, not an ordinary little girl.”

”Don’t give me that nonsense. Even if she has the strength to handle a two-hundred-pound man, it doesn’t mean she would do it! We don’t even know the victim! First, tell me, is there surveillance footage of my sister on the way to the restroom?”

”This...” The two police officers exchanged looks.

Gu Yixing raised his voice: ”Answer me!”

The police officers lowered their voices, looking troubled: ”We’re not supposed to tell you, but there was a malfunction in the surveillance along the way, and an hour of footage is completely missing.”

”That’s your problem, not my sister’s! It’s your job to investigate and restore the surveillance footage, not to give my sister a hard time!”

Gu Yixing took Little Taotie’s hand and started to leave.

”You can’t leave yet!” one police officer blocked the way.

”What? Still want to hassle a child?” Gu Yixing was on the brink of rage.

The police awkwardly said: ”She can leave, but you can’t. You haven’t told us where you went during that time and what you did.”

”Ha, are you interrogating me now?”

”That’s not it. We hope you’ll cooperate with our work.”

Little Taotie tugged on Gu Yixing’s sleeve before he could hit someone, whispering, ”Third Brother, cooperate with them, they’re just doing their job.”

Gu Yixing became gentle again facing Little Taotie.

He coldly looked at the two police officers: ”During the time of the crime, I was at a meeting on the third floor of the hotel. Eight people were present, twenty participated via video, you can ask them one by one to see if I could have been elsewhere committing a crime.”
