The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

”She was my best, best friend, my confidante through life and death. When we first went abroad many years ago, we suffered a lot, were framed, bullied, and almost lost our lives. Back then, we were young and fearless...”

Grandma laughed softly, ”Now I’m old, and still, I fear nothing.”

”Then...” Little Taotie hesitantly took out a bottle of eye drops from her shoulder bag.

Today, she carried a bag designed to look like a shell, inlaid with shiny rhinestone patches. It was a bag she had designed herself, and it was her favorite recently, always choosing it for outings. The bag had an illusory color, with a pearly pink hue.

The eye drops looked like ordinary single-use artificial tears, but they were actually special eye drops owned by members of the Special Department that allowed one to see the Ghost!

Mo Haihao even gave these eye drops a name: Ghost Drops!

But colleagues in the Special Department preferred to call them: Bull’s Tears.

”My eyes aren’t sore; I don’t need eye drops.” Grandma waved her hand.

”This...” Little Taotie struggled a bit and quietly said, ”Once you use the eye drops, you can see her, Grandma, trust me!”

Grandma chuckled.

She just thought the young girl was playing make-believe.

She cooperatively nodded, ”Alright, then Grandma will use them, and once I do, I will see my most missed, best friend. It’s magical eye drops, will Grandma cooperate?” She said with a laugh, unscrewed the eye drops, raised her head, squinted her eyes, and let a drop fall into her eye.

The drops felt just like usual eye drops from the same brand, without any discomfort.

Once both eyes were done, Grandma closed them for about three seconds, then opened them, preparing to continue the play and say some make-believe lines. But the next moment, her voice caught in her throat, and her eyes widened in shock.

Her eyes were full of disbelief, tears flowing down the corners, her gaze red, her lips trembling, wanting to speak but only able to make crying sounds, unable to say a single word.

She was scared, scared that if she spoke too loudly, the ”beauty” in front of her would disappear, and the one she reunited with would vanish, and everything would shatter like a dream.

”Mm...” Grandma covered her mouth and nose, not daring to cry out loud, but still emitted a low whimper from her nasal cavity.

The Ghost in Cheongsam was also incredulous, her eyes wide, full of shock and wild joy!

In fact, she had always been there, always staying by her friend’s side.

But every time, only she could see her friend, only she mumbled to herself.

She knew her friend couldn’t hear her voice, yet she couldn’t help talking to her, mumbling, sometimes even complaining or acting coy.

When she felt uncomfortable, she’d talk to herself until annoyed, sometimes even angrily scolding her friend.

Her friend couldn’t hear any of this, she was like a pitiful, miserable clown.

She never wished for her friend to see her; in fact, she didn’t hope for it, as it usually meant it was time for them to leave together.

Years ago, when she was killed and refused to leave, it was to stay by her friend’s side because they had sworn that although they couldn’t be born on the same day, they wished to die on the same day. Her friend always said she feared loneliness, so she vowed that if someone wanted to die, they’d wait for the other to join them.

She waited a long, long time for this...

Countless times, Ghost Enforcers tried to forcefully take her away, but she always escaped, all for the promise made back then.
