The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

The smell of roasted Wild Boar meat wafted out...

Little Taotie had no idea if it was cooked through, but the surface was already charred black. It carefully inched closer on its little paws and used a small wooden stick to push the boar’s hoof away from the edge of the fire.

Without a knife, Little Taotie imitated what it had seen and used the sharp claws on its little paws to split open the boar’s hide, revealing the white meat inside.

When pork turns white it means it’s edible. Little Taotie let out a happy cheer, still in the Little Beast’s ”awoo” voice.

Little Beast Bai Bai buried its head into the big boar hoof and gnawed at the meat.

A gigantic white shadow descended from high above, clutching something in its hand, a big, dark, sooty lump.

Little Taotie had eaten its fill. With its tiny belly puffed out, it looked up at the figure, squinting before finally seeing clearly what it was holding—it was that Wild Boar that had run far away.

The Wild Boar had long since stopped breathing, its eyes wide open, one tusk missing.

”Useless. After all that fuss you only got a single hoof, and even let it get away. Don’t you dare say you’re my cub when you go out!”

The deafening voice boomed right by its ear. Little Taotie huffed in anger, jumped to its feet, and started roaring back: ”Loudspeaker, you’re so annoying, you’re deafening me!”

”Eh? I can talk?”

Little Taotie touched its own throat with a little paw, then looked down at its furry body, a bit dazed.

It was still a Little Beast Bai Bai, so how could it talk now? Just a moment ago it couldn’t!

”You’re cursing at me? You got some nerve!”

The gigantic white shadow grabbed the scruff of Little Beast Bai Bai’s neck with a huge paw. Bai Bai’s fluffy body was hoisted into the air, its short legs kicking several times midair, its little face puffed up with anger, the fur around its mouth blown into a messy ruffle.

Little Taotie put on its fiercest baby act: ”Put me down! You big meanie!”

”Heh! That counts as being mean? I haven’t even hit you or scolded you yet and you’re already calling me names!”

The gigantic white shadow was about to smack Little Beast Bai Bai’s tiny butt with its other paw when a figure suddenly drifted over, blocking that paw.

It was a woman. Her features were soft and full, her clear eyes shimmering with moisture, her lips plump, her figure round—not fat, but evenly, beautifully proportioned, every curve giving off a gentle, soft feeling.

She was like a piece of warm jade, a gentle and lovely woman who instinctively made people feel close to her and want to approach her.

Little Taotie looked at this Great Beauty big sister, then at the gigantic white shadow whose head drooped instantly, looking utterly cowed. It tilted its head, baffled. What was so scary about this Great Beauty big sister who looked extra gentle? How did she scare the gigantic white shadow like that?

”Did it scare you?” The Gentle Great Beauty scooped Little Taotie up in both arms.

In her embrace, the Little Beast Bai Bai really was like a Little Cub.

Little Taotie was surprised to find that this Great Beauty was actually kind of tall. You couldn’t tell without a comparison, but now that it was in her arms, it could feel how tall she was—she had to be at least two meters!

The Little Beast Bai Bai stared with big round eyes like a little milk kitten, curiously taking in the pretty face right up close. Its milky voice was soft and fluffy: ”N-no... not scared!”

The Little Beast Bai Bai’s little face turned red, the flesh inside its little ears flushing completely. Its big eyes shimmered with shy light, not daring to look straight at the Gentle Great Beauty’s smile.

”It’s still little. Don’t treat it like that.” The Great Beauty snapped at the gigantic white shadow, clearly annoyed.

The gentleness from just now vanished, and she seemed a bit... fierce!

Little Taotie was utterly stunned, its big eyes round as marbles, staring at the Great Beauty like it was witnessing something astonishing.

”It cursed at me first. I wasn’t really going to hit it, just scare it a bit. If the little brat begged for mercy, of course I wouldn’t hit it.”

”And if it doesn’t beg for mercy?”

”Then... then...” The gigantic white shadow muttered in a tiny voice, ”I’d just give it a light pat. I swear, really light...”
