The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

”Am I really okay to leave like this? I haven’t sung the star sign song for everyone yet!”

”You sang the zodiac song for them and danced too, you’re tired, tired.”

”Grandma, I’m really not tired.”

”You’re tired, Little cutie, come, Grandma will take you to see the Epiphyllum flower! It’s about to bloom. If you miss it, it’ll bloom and wither away!”

”Epiphyllum flower...” Little Taotie blinked and looked at the flower blooming above Grandma’s head.

Grandma saw her staring at herself and assumed the little girl had never seen an Epiphyllum flower and was curious about it, she smiled and said, ”We’ll be there soon, then you’ll see the most beautiful flower, like fireworks, fleeting yet beautiful.”

”Is it white?”

”Hmm?”

Grandma laughed, ”You’ve seen it before?”

Little Taotie’s big eyes remained fixed on the flower above Grandma’s head. It was an extremely beautiful flower; it was white, but not the white of lilies or White Lotus flowers, it was a soft milky white, seemingly radiating a gentle glow, like a layer of hazy filter.

The petals were thin strands, yet not thin strands, seeming like a large overlapping silhouette, this feeling was even more blurry, as if it could move at any time, a bit like sparkling fireworks falling in profusion.

Grandma held her hand and led her to a small corner of the garden, here there was a warm shelter about one meter high, more like a tent.

”Right here! Look quickly! It’s blooming!”

Little Taotie nodded and looked over.

”You came just in time, your Epiphyllum flower bloomed.” A gentle female voice sounded.

Little Taotie was surprised and looked over.

From behind the Epiphyllum flower came a classical beauty dressed in a Chinese qipao.

The beauty had almond eyes, fair skin, full lips, and when she smiled gently, the apples of her cheeks were plump, giving a very gentle and blessed appearance.

Grandma did not hear this voice and continued to enthusiastically recommend the Epiphyllum flower to Little Taotie, firmly believing that it was the most beautiful flower in the world, without comparison.

Little Taotie blinked, looked at the beautiful qipao elder sister, then at Grandma, who was absorbed in the beauty of the Epiphyllum flower, seemingly understanding something.

It’s a Ghost!

This classical beauty in the qipao was someone who had passed away.

Just as Little Taotie wondered why the qipao beauty was here, why she continued speaking to Grandma even knowing Grandma couldn’t hear her, Grandma took out a photograph.

It was an old, yellowed photograph.

In the photo, an Epiphyllum flower was in full bloom, although the old photo was black and white, it did not affect the beauty of the Epiphyllum flower at all.

And behind the Epiphyllum flower stood two women.

One was precisely the Ghost before them, this classical beauty dressed in a qipao.

The other was somewhat unfamiliar yet somewhat familiar.

Little Taotie looked up at Grandma’s face in confusion: ”Is that you, Grandma?”

Her little finger pointed at the woman dressed in leather clothes and pants, looking very cool.

”It’s me! Wasn’t I cool when I was young?”

Little Taotie nodded: ”Extremely cool!”

In those days, wearing a small Western dress was already very fashionable, let alone wearing this set of neutral and highly individual leather clothes and pants.

”This is my childhood friend, a well-behaved rich young lady, a very gentle woman, completely different from me when I was young. Back then, I was like a fire, and she was like a clear, tranquil, and gentle lake.”

Grandma’s eyes darkened: ”It’s just... beauty has a short life, she left too early.”
