The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Shaving a bald head was Little Taotie’s first attempt, so it wasn’t that smooth at first. Looking at Hua Jinyan’s messy flat head, she laughed heartily for a good while, then after a second touch-up, she finally rounded his head nicely.

Looking at Hua Jinyan’s shiny white head, Little Taotie laughed and rolled around on the bed.

Hua Jinyan touched his bald head, ”Is it really that funny?”

Little Taotie laughed until her eyes were filled with tears, staring at his head with her big, watery eyes, ”So round and white, like a big dumpling.”

Hua Jinyan: ”...”

Little Taotie was drooling uncontrollably.

Hua Jinyan: ”...”

With a sniffle, Little Taotie wiped her mouth, ”I’m not craving you.”

Hua Jinyan: ”Why am I finding it hard to believe?”

Little Taotie quickly waved her hands and shook her head, ”Really not! It’s just that it looks a bit like a dumpling. I’m just hungry.”

Little Taotie reached out to touch Horse-Faced Bell, only to remember the chocolate inside had long been eaten by Withered Vine.

Now, neither she nor Hua Jinyan had any left!

”No more chocolate, shall we go get some?” Little Taotie’s eyes sparkled.

Hua Jinyan held down her little feet as she was about to step out, ”Calm down, not today, I’m tired.”

Little Taotie quietly retracted her feet, the bed feeling chilly, she instinctively sought a warm spot, which happened to be Hua Jinyan’s feet, ”Your feet are so warm.”

Hua Jinyan’s face turned bright red.

Little Taotie looked at him in confusion, ”Why are you blushing? Your white head makes your face look even redder. Let me tell you, even with no hair, you have plenty of flowers blooming on your head. Do you really like me a lot? Hehehe...” As she talked, she became shy, covering her face and rolling in the bed, ”So many people like me now, I’m so happy～～～”

Hua Jinyan touched his smooth head, feeling it was worth shaving it.

Not sure when, the two children fell into a deep sleep.

Lou Lan, after checking the corpse and cleaning up, came to check on the two kids, assuming they’d be sleeping separately, only to find them snuggled up in the same bed.

Wait!

Am I seeing things?

Lou Lan rubbed her eyes, then looked carefully.

Where did this dumpling come from?

A smooth, round, and white head.

Suddenly, she met a pair of open eyes, very calm eyes indeed.

Hua Jinyan put a finger to his lips, signaling silence.

Lou Lan never intended to wake them up, just to see if they slept well. Today had been eventful, and she was a bit worried they might have nightmares, even if they appeared calm. After all, a co-worker died in front of them and they carried the corpse, not something easy for anyone, let alone two kids.

Surprisingly, they were sleeping well. Though Hua Jinyan’s alertness was a bit excessive, or perhaps he was a light sleeper, which isn’t great for health.

Lou Lan mimed the act of drinking, intending to ask Hua Jinyan if he wanted milk.

Hua Jinyan shook his head.

Seeing Little Taotie sleeping soundly, her little face flushed, Lou Lan felt relieved and gestured that she was leaving.

Hua Jinyan nodded.

Lou Lan then tiptoed out, gently closing the door.

Hua Jinyan glanced at Little Taotie sleeping sweetly beside him, with a slight smile at the corner of his mouth, he lightly brushed her nose with his finger.

Little Taotie hummed a couple of times, instinctively scratching her nose, then turned and continued to sleep soundly.
