The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1420: Chapter 1420: The Second Place Goes to Zaizai

Because of Director Zhang’s sudden appearance, everyone became more eager to find out the rewards for the first and second places.

Jiang Hao was directly taken away by Director Zhang, saying the ”Inviting Gods” was urgently starting filming.

The show director initially didn’t want to let her go, but faced with Jiang Hao’s willingness to leave along with other guests eager to see her off, the show director had to agree.

”Director, don’t drag it out, quickly announce the second place!”

”Let’s see who’s so lucky!”

”The third place is a TV series, the second place must be a film, right?”

”Stop keeping it from us, we’ve already guessed it!”

”Is it a chance to audition, or a direct role? Hurry up and tell us!”

Show director: ”...You guys are really well-informed.”

Urged helplessly, the director could only nod and tell the truth: ”Yes, the second place indeed has a film role as a reward, with three choices. Besides auditioning for the male/female lead role, there’s also a chance to choose other roles in the film.”

”What does choosing mean?”

”Does it mean you can shoot whatever role you pick?”

”Can you choose any role in the movie? What if it’s not suitable? If you can pick any, wouldn’t that be irresponsible for the film?”

”Which director is so generous, delivering any role?”

The show director touched his nose, the director they were calling generous, yet irresponsible to the film was none other than himself.

The director coughed: ”Actually... I plan to make a movie.”

Everyone went silent, quietly watching the director.

This director actually didn’t have much filming experience, barely any experience with variety shows even, yet dared to think of making a movie?

Facing the insistent gazes of several guests, the director felt inexplicably guilty: ”Mainly because someone invested, I just thought to try and see, the script is still quite good.”

With Chairman Cheng’s support, plus the support of the team’s secret-rich Prop Master, this show could have a better exposure opportunity, possibly a chance to be broadcast on TV, not just a web show.

The director was impulsive at the time and sent a script to Chairman Cheng to see if he could get further support. Who would have thought Chairman Cheng would agree to invest, and quite substantially.

Actually, he only decided to offer his movie for the second place winner to freely choose a role after seeing their name.

”Come on, who is it?”

”Yeah, who is fortunate enough to get this opportunity and collaborate with you again, Director?”

Someone laughed, with a hint of mockery in the laughter: ”Right, let’s see which lucky person it is?”

The director was somewhat annoyed in his heart; although it was his first time making a movie he felt a bit insecure, what gave these guys the right to mock? Even for casting, he wouldn’t choose any of them!

”Next, I will reveal the winner of the second place! The winner is—Little Taotie!”

Little Taotie had made eye contact with the director before he even called her name, feeling sure she’d once again end up as a perennial second place.

Upon hearing her name being called, she wasn’t surprised.

The little girl calmly nodded to everyone and then walked towards the director, asking with a sweet voice, ”Can I still choose? Are there several child roles in the movie?”

The director, feeling guilty, touched his nose: ”Just one.”

Alright! No choice then!

Little Taotie pouted, feeling tricked.

The director hurriedly comforted her, ”Rest assured, this role is the female lead’s childhood, very clever, your scenes are simple, you just need to be pampered and eat various delicacies!”

Upon hearing she’d get to eat all kinds of delicacies, the little girl’s eyes instantly sparkled like stars, and she became happy again.
