Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

Luis Hughes looked at this face that bore some resemblance to his own. The exquisite features were almost perfect and sharp as if carved by a blade, and the icy wild aura surged forward like a flood. His deep gaze began to simmer with murderous intent. Joshua Hughes had to admit that the moment the door was slammed open was the moment he most wanted to destroy Luis Hughes in his life.

Even though the two of them were always at odds, he still gave him enough leeway. But today, he dared to touch Avery Jane.

His hand was still resting on her petite body, and a spark of anger ignited in Joshua Hughes’s body, instantly flaring up and coursing through him. Looking at the opened buttons, exposing enticing skin, the anger burned even more fiercely. He was like a massive powder keg, needing only a tiny spark to explode, as if it could destroy the entire huge ship resembling a castle at sea.

”Joshua Hughes, what do you want to do?” Luis Hughes, infuriated and ashamed, looked at the shattered door lock, while the guards had already turned their backs to them because they knew the woman inside was beyond their gaze, no matter how beautiful.

He raised his deep eyes, pursed his lips tightly, and gently said, ”Did you touch her?”

Luis glanced at Joshua Hughes’s clothes, exquisitely luxurious, but the most striking were all his buttons, clearly marked with the family emblem ”H”. Such a symbol on him exuded a dark mystery and power, alongside a murderous aura. Luis gave a mischievous smile and tauntingly said, ”Just a little, you came too early, I haven’t had enough yet.”

The ink-like mist slowly spread in Joshua Hughes’s eyes, carrying terrifying murderous intent. He nodded at Luis Hughes, and before he could comprehend what was happening, a fierce punch swept through with bone-crushing force and hit Luis Hughes’s face. Luis could not react in time, knocked out by the ferocious fist. The sound of bones breaking was clear and distinct, while the taste of blood surged from his throat as his body fell embarrassed onto the floor, with dark red blood spreading from the corners of his mouth...

Joshua Hughes took off his clothes and draped them over Avery Jane, her buttons undone, lying unconscious on the sofa like a princess under a spell, unable to rise no matter how gently he called her. Did he risk his life to do something to her?

Turning back to look at Luis Hughes, who had struggled to stand up, his handsome face already half swollen, the guards quickly came forward and held Luis Hughes.

:”Avery, Avery...” Her small face was pale, even her lips had turned a faint watery color. Her eyes seemed red, and tears lingered at the corners, making her so charming and maddening in her fear.

:”What did you do to her?” Joshua Hughes stared at Luis Hughes, his similar features containing blood he loathed.

:”Nothing much, she just doesn’t seem to like hearing about your past, dear big brother. She’s indeed lovely, terrified by your playboy tales to the point of fainting.” Luis Hughes, his face swollen on one side, still tried to be brave, while Joshua Hughes listened to his words, his expression growing colder.

The guards, observing Joshua Hughes’s face, started sweating nervously. Typically expressionless, he now showed signs of urgency. Joshua Hughes’s eyes narrowed dangerously as he picked up the petite girl from the sofa and coldly instructed, ”Lock him here, cut off electricity, take away the phone. In these five days, only give him water. If anyone dares let him go, they can swim back to the land themselves.” His icy tone was filled with irrefutable command.

:”Why are you imprisoning me, why...” Luis Hughes struggled, wanting to rush forward, but the guards were too strong, leaving him unable to break free, watching helplessly as Joshua Hughes carrying the young woman out of the room.

”How is she?” The top-floor room had long been specially renovated; white long-haired carpet, red velvet sofa, crystal vase filled with the finest red roses, one corner piled with beautifully packaged gift boxes, all awaiting the arrival of the mistress. But now she lay heavily asleep on the bed.
