Medical and Martial God

”Makes sense!”

Lin Lei pondered for a moment after listening, and said:

”Ever since the fall of Biluo Island, no, since the Mist Chant Martial Meeting, we have been on the defensive, completely led by the enemy. Continuing this way is definitely unwise. Lei Xiaoming’s plan is excellent.”

Kristina and the others also thought that Ye Xiu’s plan was quite brilliant!

In fact, the Eternal Kingdom had been isolated for over two thousand years and had never experienced a national war, so it seriously lacked war experience.

Thus, since the fall of Biluo Island, to now where the six allied forces have reduced the Eternal Kingdom to only the territory of King Island, King Lin Lei, the Ministry of Military Affairs, and the so-called think tank members were completely at a loss for what to do.

They have never fought in war!

No experience!

They could only react defensively, not knowing how to take the initiative!

Therefore, Ye Xiu’s plan opened a new strategic door for Lin Lei and the others.

”After we abandon Red Water City, what if the enemy’s follow-up forces do not go to Red Water City?”

The white-haired old man ’Yuan Wu’ asked.

”Good question!”

Lin Lei praised Yuan Wu, asking:

”What if the enemy’s six armies do not gather in Red Water City, how can we annihilate them all at once?”

Ye Xiu was delighted to hear this—it turns out they are a bunch of lovely old men who know nothing about war. Watch how I bamboozle them.

He said: ”The enemy attacks, and we defend. As invaders, the enemy’s ultimate target is the Royal City. They will come eventually; we just need to wait for them.”

Everyone felt enlightened!

Indeed!

They didn’t need to worry about whether the enemy would go to Red Water City. The enemy was here to destroy the Eternal Kingdom, even if they didn’t let the enemy go to Red Water City, they would.

”We don’t know when the enemy will gather in Red Water City, but to annihilate them in one swoop, we must prepare in advance.”

Kristina said:

”Lei Xiaoming, what preparations do you think we should make?”

This question was indeed unexpected!

Ye Xiu took a box of cigarettes from the table, pulled one out, lit it, and pondered while smoking.

Kristina, Lin Lei, and the others did not interrupt; they were already beginning to admire ’Lei Xiaoming’s wisdom.

Half a cigarette later!

A devious plan suddenly came to Ye Xiu’s mind.

Too devious!

He said: ”In the event of network failure and inconvenient communications, if we wait until all the enemy troops have gathered in Red Water City to summon all the island’s martial artists, it will be very time-consuming and labor-intensive, and it will be tough to contact everyone quickly.”

”I propose that we immediately inform all martial artists on King Island to secretly gather in the three major Defensive Cities other than Red Water City so that once all the enemy troops arrive in Red Water City, it will be much easier to assemble them.”

This plan could not be more devious!

If Lin Lei took Ye Xiu’s advice and all King Island’s martial artists gathered in the three Defensive Cities.

Ye Xiu would only need to set up three trapping formations, trapping the martial artists in the three Defensive Cities, unable to enter or exit.

This way, the global allied martial artists, Heavenly Sect, Hell’s Gate, Restorer Alliance, Prisoners’ Descendants Alliance, Lin Feng Corps, Mutated Beasts Army could clear out each city mansion in turn without facing King Island’s much larger martial artist army.

Ye Xiu could even take more time, fail dozens or hundreds of times, setting up three Shocking God and Demon Formations, directly using the power of the formations to kill all the martial artists in the three Defensive Cities.

By that time!

Ye Xiu would only have one Royal City to face!

”No way!”

Yuan Wu was the first to oppose, saying:

”Lei Xiaoming’s proposal is indeed good and does help us mobilize the martial artists, but everyone must not forget that Huang Quan has the ability to set up trapping formations. Once he sets up a trapping formation in the three Defensive Cities, then it will be troublesome!”

Hell!

You old bastard, how dare you ruin my plan!

Ye Xiu almost couldn’t resist punching Yuan Wu, saying:

”That’s why I said it must be a secret operation, never letting the enemy know that all the island’s martial artists are gathered in the three Defensive Cities.”

”We cannot take the risk!” Yuan Wu said.

Damn you...

Ye Xiu took a deep breath, once again resisting the urge to punch Yuan Wu.

”Yuan Wu’s worry is not unfounded!” Lin Lei said: ”Gathering all the island’s martial artists in the three Defensive Cities is too risky!”

Kristina nodded in agreement, saying:

”Lei Xiaoming, think of another plan that allows us to quickly contact and mobilize all the island’s martial artists.”

Do you think devious plans are so easy to come up with?

Ye Xiu really wanted to curse Kristina a few times, thought for a moment, and said:

”A good plan is hard to come up with in a short time, but there are a few things we must do first before we think of a great plan.”

Lin Lei asked: ”What are they?”

Ye Xiu said: ”First, I heard that besides the Royal City, the officials of other city mansions on King Island have been killed, which means the Royal City and all the city mansions are out of contact, quickly send a City Lord to each city mansion, so that after we devise a plan, there will be someone to execute it.”

Lin Lei’s eyes lit up: ”Makes sense. I will arrange it at dawn. Anything else?”

Ye Xiu continued: ”Second, we must prepare for a prolonged war, so food is crucial. I suggest that once the new City Lords of each city mansion are appointed, their first task is to contact all martial artists in the city; the second task is to collect food and send it to the Royal City because food in the Royal City is the safest.”

Lin Lei suddenly started to appreciate ’Lei Xiaoming’, and said:

”Good, after selecting the new City Lords for each city mansion, I will assign tasks to them. Anything else?”

Ye Xiu thought for a moment and shook his head, saying: ”Not for now!”

Lin Lei nodded, and loudly said:

”Convey my orders:”

”First, let the City Lord of Red Water City lead all the people out from the Ximen to the Royal City;”

”Second, select a suitable place in the Royal City to quickly build a large grain warehouse;”

Except for Ye Xiu and Kristina, everyone else knelt on one knee:

”As you command!”

Lin Lei didn’t mind that Ye Xiu didn’t kneel, saying:

”Little Princess, it is very late now, you and Lei Xiaoming should go back and rest.”

Ye Xiu was anxious when he heard this. He came to the Royal Palace to find the base of the Shocking God and Demon Formation and couldn’t leave, so he quickly said before Kristina:

”It’s wartime now, and unforeseen situations can happen at any time. The place where the Little Princess and I are staying is too far from the Royal Palace, so we can’t come quickly if something happens. Why don’t the Little Princess and I stay in the Royal Palace instead?”

Lin Lei did not answer but asked Kristina: ”What do you think, Little Princess?”

”Lei Xiaoming is right. Although I don’t like living in the Royal Palace, considering the big picture, it’s better to stay.” Kristina said.

Lin Lei nodded: ”Alright, I will have someone arrange accommodations for you.”

Ye Xiu smiled, now he could finally search the Royal Palace slowly, hopefully, the base of the Shocking God and Demon Formation was in the palace.

Has he accidentally infiltrated the enemy’s stronghold?
