Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Having successfully broken through to the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm, Xuan Hao didn’t linger around the Seventh Star Peak for long and soon left behind an incarnation for teaching his disciple and keeping up with the development of the sect before diving right back into the ascension realm tower. Confident that he had the strength to conquer the twenty eighth floor of the tower now that his strength had successfully broken through. The boss monster he had to kill wasn’t anything that worried him in the slightest given how he had already faced off against a demigod at the twenty seventh floor of the tower not that long ago.

If anything, the enemy he had to face to successfully conquer the twenty eighth floor of the tower would be far weaker than the demigod he had successfully cut down and should be far easier for him to take down now that his strength had increased since his battle of attrition with the weakened demigod.

Even if the other party turned out to have strength in the Star Creation Realm, he felt some degree of confidence in still being able to win with his current strength at the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm.

Of course, though Xuan Hao had left behind the sect to continue exploring the ascension realm tower and attempt to ascend further, no one else knew he had left as the incarnation he had left behind perfectly filled the role of a teacher for his disciples and communication with Elder Song and other senior members of the sect who came to visit him from time to time. Far more useful than using communication talisman that he had originally been using whenever he left the sect.

The one detriment to the use of an incarnation being the fact that the soul power required to create such an incarnation was immense and even at the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm, it was difficult to operate such an incarnation all the time and he still had to make it enter a state of low maintenance whenever his main body was in a difficult battle that required his full attention.

Altogether, the incarnation was great but still had a few flaws with those flaws being possibly erased in the future when the strength of his soul rose and allowed him to remotely manage this incarnation with less effort.

For now, at least, though he wanted to spread the method of utilizing incarnation through the sect, the method he had come up with wasn’t exactly refined and relied purely on his own powerful soul strength. For others to use this method to create an incarnation would at least need their cultivation to reach the Land Creation Realm, something the elders of the sect were still far from reaching.

Still... One benefit that came with this kind of incarnation was the fact that it wasn’t one without any strength and had cultivation comparable to someone at the Breaking Dawn Realm of the Profound Immortal Realm.

Although still weak compared to his true body, together with his comprehension of different Daos to assist it on the side, his incarnation alone should have combat strength comparable to someone in the Later Stages of the Sea Formation realm. Potentially even reaching the Earlier Stages of the Land Creation Realm.

In simple words, keeping his incarnation around essentially meant that the sect would now have another powerful entity at the Land Creation Realm permanently stationed on the Shattered Star Peaks. Ready to move in case something that Elder Song or Feng Chen couldn’t deal with at their current cultivation realm happened.

Of course, the greatest force stationed within the Shattered Star Peaks was still the feline demon beast that had been recruited from the ancient alchemy sect ruins, as this demon beast had also shown significant growth ever since it settled down on the Shattered Star Peaks and had even started to show signs of breaking through to the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm.

Powerful as his incarnation was, it was still a bit behind the feline demon beast and would undoubtedly be left far behind when the feline demon beast broke through to the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm in the future. After all, the development of demon beasts was fundamentally different from that of human cultivators or other humanoid races like himself, as their path resembled the body cultivation path of the martial arts path more so than the traditional immortal cultivation path in the later stages. Turning their bodies into a terrifying unstoppable force.

In fact, to this day, he hadn’t fully understood the cultivation path of demon beast and generally operated according to the information that was already available on the continent about their strength and cultivation path, but as his cultivation deepened and his strength grew, it became increasingly clear that the demon beasts weren’t following the same traditional immortal cultivation path as himself and others on the continent and instead following some kind of unique body cultivation path.

But then again... This much should already have been obvious from how much the cultivation of the demon beasts seemed to focus on increasing the strength of their physical body above all else. Resembling the demonic cultivators to some degree in how they wholeheartedly followed the path of enhancing the strength of their physical bodies and growing their vitality to downright terrifying levels in the latter stages.

Briefly ponder these things to himself as he arrived at the ascension realm tower, Xuan Hao soon enough threw his thoughts on the cultivation path of demon beasts to the back of his mind and stepped through one of the teleportation formations on the ground floor of the ascension realm tower. Soon enough, finding himself back on the twenty eighth floor of the tower with the spiral staircase leading back towards the twenty seventh floor behind him.

Of course, seeing this spiral passage that was still behind him, his first thought wasn’t to rush forward and start his exploration of the twenty eighth floor of the tower, but instead whether he would be able to descend back to the twenty seventh floor of the tower by following the stairs downwards towards the twenty seventh floor. Knowing that outside of just the heavenly and earthly treasures that could be found on the twenty seventh floor of the tower, the countless powerful cultivators proficient in the Dao of Space also meant their comprehension of the Dao of Space would be a great boon to his own comprehension of the Dao of Space and might be able to accelerate his speed of reaching the Origin Realm in the Dao of Space.

Outside of that, there was also the simple curiosity of wondering what had happened to the twenty seventh floor of the tower following that terrifying world destroying palm descending from the so-called immortal world descending to destroy the small world that was the twenty seventh floor of the tower.

One possibility was that the twenty seventh floor had changed completely and what those who entered the floor would be faced with in the future would be a dead shattered world filled with unknown dangers, while another possibility was the world resetting back to before that terrifying world destroying palm descended.

Both scenarios offered unique benefits, as the first meant that one could adventure through this dead world seeking the inheritances and treasures left behind by the different major powers who once had Star Creation Realm figures overseeing them and even direct connections to the Venerable Realm. Undoubtedly valuable, but the one where the world was still alive was still one Xuan Hao himself preferred given how a vast majority of the resources that were originally accessible within that small world would undoubtedly have been destroyed by the heaven encompassing world destroying palm descending from above.

Resources that he would be able to just easily grab in the future when his strength became powerful enough to easily sweep through this floor of the tower...

Whoosh~

In the end, he was unable to contain his curiosity regarding the ultimate fate of the twenty seventh floor of the tower and the small world within the floor. So, he decided to first descend the staircase behind him to see if he could access this floor ahead of time through this or at the very least glimpse the state of this small world through the passage connected to the twenty seventh floor.

Although this would ultimately waste a few days of time that could be used on exploring the twenty eighth floor of the tower, he didn’t mind spending a week figuring out what had happened to the twenty seventh floor of the tower and felt that witnessing the state of that floor would also give him some insight into whether other floors of the tower could interfere with the overall environment of the floors below, as in his eyes, the so-called immortal world was undoubtedly some floor of the tower that could be found above the current highest accessible floor.
