Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Having finished up making sure that he would have some more time to complete his quest, Xuan Hao soon left the northern region of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom and directly entered the central region where the main Heavenly Sky Kingdom had complete control, though from the few towns and cities he passed over, things seemed to already be on the brink of collapse.

Most of the people were either trying to sell off what property they had, while others formed large groups before making their way towards the Northern, Western or Eastern region of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom.

To be honest, Xuan Hao wondered whether or not he had arrived too late and the Heavenly Sky Kingdom had already lost, but after a quick conversation with Shu Yao, Xuan Hao learned that the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom had yet to make his move yet.

”Perhaps the situation of the central region was way worse than I expected…”

Muttering this to himself as he observed the large amount of people trying to leave the central region of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom, Xuan Hao just sighed at the sight before continuing over in the direction Shu Yao had given him.

…

”So that is the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom?”

Arriving just in time to watch the fight between the ancestor of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom and the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom, Xuan Hao could not help but ask Shu Yao standing beside him with a curious expression on his face, as he watched the person in question standing arrogantly in front of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom’s barrier.

”Yes, though he is indeed quite good looking…”

A wry smile appearing on her face when saying that, Shu Yao had remained focused on the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom.

Xuan Hao could not help but agree with Shu Yao, as he observed the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom. A middle-aged man with a bearing belonging to a king and a handsome face to go along with it.

FWOOSH!

Just as Xuan Hao and Shu Yao were talking about the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom, the person in question finally moved when he was only a few meters away from the barrier of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom.

A large amount of baleful qi flooded the surroundings, as the ancestor of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom’s surprised voice could be heard from beyond the barrier.

”This is?!”

Shu Yao let out an exclamation of surprise after seeing the baleful energy, as a trace of fear appeared on her beautiful face.

”What is it? Do you perhaps know what kind of mantra that the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom is cultivating?”

Seeing the fear appearing on Shu Yao’s face, Xuan Hao asked in a curious voice. Maybe the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom was cultivating some sort of demonic cultivation mantra? Given the large amount of baleful qi, Xuan Hao thought that it should be a demonic cultivation mantra of some sort.

The only problem was the fact that the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom was still very much human. Not like the demonic cultivators he had encountered from the Black Rose Sect in the past…

”Indeed, I know this cultivation mantra and it’s not a demonic one… The results of cultivating it is truly terrifying, I don’t think I would be his match if we ended up fighting each other…”

”Not a demonic cultivation mantra? Then do you perhaps know what this cultivation mantra is called, I have never seen a cultivation mantra involving baleful qi that is not demonic…”

Listening to what Shu Yao said, Xuan Hao not only did not feel the slightest fear and only grew more curious after hearing Shu Yao openly admit that she was not the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom’s match in a fight.

After all, no matter how strong the king of the Azure Sky Kingdom was, he was still only at the Nascent Soul Realm.

Xuan Hao was only surprised over the fact that he had cultivated baleful qi, when it came to a fight, Xuan Hao would easily be able to deal with him.

His domain alone would be more than enough to instantly deal with him.

”Hah… Sorry for losing my composure earlier, the cultivation mantra is called the Flower Breaking Mantra and it’s a Peak Earth Rank Mantra. Apparently, its only part of an even stronger Peak Heaven Rank Mantra called the Supreme Flower Breaking Mantra…”

Remembering the fact that she had someone at the Domain Lord Realm standing just next to her, Shu Yao quickly calmed herself down before answering.

”The… Flower Breaking Mantra…?”

”Yes, it belonged to an ancient sect in the past called Devil Flower Sect, their sect master was an expert at the Soul Ascension Realm and was given the name of Flower Breaking Emperor… The sect itself has long since ceased to exist even before the Sky Empire came to be, but their legacy still exists to this day.

The main reason for this, is due to the fact that they were freely distributing the Peak Earth Rank version of the Flower Breaking Mantra to everyone… Perhaps you’ve heard about it before?”

”No… I never heard about it before…”

Listening to Shu Yao’s explanation, Xuan Hao remembered his time back in the secret realm together with Chi Hu.

Back then, Chi Hu had found the Supreme Flower Breaking Mantra, but the cultivation method for the mantra was simply too much and Xuan Hao had tried to erase the memory of what he had read back then…

”I see, you can be considered lucky! The Flower Breaking Mantra is indeed powerful, but it has several drawbacks and the method cultivating it… is rather ’unique’… In the past, I happened to pass by a group of people cultivating this mantra together…”

Shaking her head as she thought about something with a both fearful and disgusted look appearing on her face for a short moment, Xuan Hao could not help but feel a sense of sympathy for her…

For her to encounter a group of cultivators practicing the Flower Breaking Mantra… Xuan Hao could barely begin to imagine the horror a woman like Shu Yao must have experienced upon witnessing such a scene…
