Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

The mission board of the Mission Hall was split up into two different sections at the entrance of the Mission Hall, one section was far larger than the other and was also the one that the older woman at the counter had pointed both Qing Yi and Chu Yang towards.

[Foundation Establishment Missions]

Both Qing Yi and Chu Yang understood the reason why she had pointed them towards the larger mission board the moment they saw the large words above the mission board with disciples all around it.

The other mission board was for Core Formation Realm disciples; therefore, it was considerably emptier compared to the Foundation Establishment mission board, with only a few older disciples appearing in front of it occasionally.

”So… Should we see if we can find a mission to do together?”

Chu Yang said as he glanced over at Qing Yi and waited for her to answer.

Earlier, they had already decided that they would take on a mission together for the first time.

”…”

Qing Yi did not say anything upon hearing Chu Yang’s question, but instead just nodded her head approvingly as both of them made their way through the sea of disciples moving around in front of the mission board.

”Well… Let’s see what kind of missions there are…”

Standing directly in front of the mission board, both Qing Yi and Chu Yang began scanning the different missions before them as they tried to search for one that both of them could do together without being too dangerous for them, it was after all their first mission, and they didn’t want to take on something too dangerous like dealing with a peak Foundation Establishment demon beast that had gone wild…

[Subjugate the Blinding Flower Bandit Group at the Red Flower Ridge]

[Description: The Blinding Flower Bandits have risen to strength over the past month, terrorizing the surrounding villages and kidnapping some of the locals. Their leader having an estimated strength at the fifth stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm, with at least three other people at the Foundation Establishment Realm.]

[Recommended strength: Peak Foundation Establishment Realm or a group of at least three at the fifth stage of the Foundation Establishment or above]

[Reward: Sprit Stones]

[Time Limit: 6 months]

Looking over the different mission hanging on the mission board, Chu Yang found one mission that caught his attention about subjugating a group of bandits as he took it and prepared to recommend it to Qing Yi, but Qing Yi had not wasted any time either as she had also found a mission herself before she showed to Chu Yang at the same time he showed the mission he found to her.

[Gather one kilogram of Pure Heart Spirit Grass]

[Description: Pure Heart Spirit Grass is a rare herb that can be found around the Pure Heart Lake located in the territory of the River Sect. The Pure Heart Spirit Grass is often guarded by a demon beast at the Foundation Establishment Realm; therefore, you are likely to encounter several demon beasts at the Foundation Establishment Realm while gathering the Pure Heart Spirit Grass as it often only grows in small patches with around one hundred grams worth of Pure Heart Spirit Grass in them.]

[Recommended strength: Above fourth stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm, recommend doing it in a group, as it will be easier to complete the mission instead of having to search alone.]

[Reward: Pure Heart Potion, Spirit Stones]

[Time limit: 8 months]

”So, which one should we go with…?”

Chu Yang saw that the mission that Qing Yi had recommended was really suitable for them, but still felt that the one he had found was better…

”Hm… How about we just take on both of them…? If I’m not wrong, the River Sect should be located close to the Red Flower Ridge that the group of bandits are hiding, and it should not be a problem for us to take on more than one mission at once…”

Thinking about something for a short moment, Qing Yi recalled that the River Sect should be located relatively close to where the Red Flower Ridge where the bandits were hiding.

The River Sect was not a well-known sect in the Flying Sword Sect’s territory, but it was still a strong sect with someone at the Peak of the Core Formation Realm behind it!

In the past, Qing Yi had learned about the River Sect due to someone in the Bright Sun City being accepted as a disciple of the River Sect.

Back then, she had felt shocked after learning that the River Sect had someone at the Peak of the Core Formation Realm! Way stronger than her father was, it was also at that point in time that Qing Yi had begun learning about the different sect’s that were located around the Bright Sun City.

At that time, she had truly felt like a frog at the bottom of a well. Never knowing how big the world outside truly was, it was also at this point that she had learned about the Flying Sword Sect for the first time!

”Yeah… We can do that…”

Listening to what Qing Yi said, Chu Yang thought about it for a moment before agreeing with her suggestion of taking on both of the missions. After all, there was no rule about not being able to take on more than one mission at a time.

The only requirement the Mission Hall had in that regard was a time limit, but that time limit was normally more than long enough for the disciples to complete the mission given to them!

Just the two missions that they had agreed on had a time limit of 6 months or more!

Whoosh~

Coming to a decision, both Qing Yi and Chu Yang held onto a the mission paper each of them had chosen as they made their way over in the direction of one of the many counters that the other disciples made their way towards after finding a suitable mission.

All they had to do now was register the mission officially...
