My Infinite System.

The crystalline chamber of the Diva high command was utterly silent. Luminar stood before the central comms array, a sphere of pure light that could connect to every corner of the known universe. The faces of the other Triad members were grim holograms beside him.

He took a breath, a gesture more for form than necessity. Then he sent the signal.

It was not a request. It was a clarion call. A priority-one override that sliced through all other communications, all diplomacy, all war. It reached the bridge of every Diva flagship, the command dens of every Ashura war-clan, the silent minds of the Psion collective, the core processors of the Mechanist, and the swirling consciousness of the Xylos. It went to mercenary guilds, to independent systems, to every species that had ever signed the Galactic Accords. For the first time in millennia, every major power in the universe was listening to a single voice.

”This is Luminar of the Diva Triad,” his voice rang out, clear and sharp, across a million worlds. ”We face a critical update to the Aethel threat. The target has shifted.”

He paused, letting the significance settle in the silent void between stars.

”Our initial intelligence was flawed. The primary existential threat is not Alistair. It is his son, Lucian Black.”

A wave of psychic shock, of digital static, of roared confusion echoed back through the comms, though Luminar’s channel remained one-way.

”The prophecy of the reset does not point to the father, but to the son. Lucian Black is the catalyst. He is the one who will unmake reality. He and his siblings are currently within the Echo Vault. Alistair’s plan is merely the key that will place the power of the reset into Lucian’s hands. We have reason to believe the event is imminent. We are looking at a window of minutes, perhaps less.”

On a Ashura command ship, Krazak leaned forward, his molten eyes wide. ”The boy? It’s the boy?!” He slammed a fist on his console. ”I knew it! The quiet ones are always the most dangerous!”

Luminar’s voice continued, relentless. ”All previous directives are nullified. The priority is now Lucian Black. His capture or elimination is the sole objective. The Echo Vault must be secured. No force, no matter how small, is to be spared. This is not a war for territory or ideology. This is a surgery to remove a cancer from the body of existence itself.”

He finalized the transmission with a data burst containing the Vault’s last known resonant coordinates.

”The time for observation is over. The time for consensus is over. Mobilize. Everything. Now.”

The moment the transmission ended, the universe erupted into motion.

On the edge of allied space, a Diva battle fleet, miles long and composed of a thousand crystalline warships, vanished from real space in a synchronized flash, warping towards the coordinates.

In the Ashura territories, Krazak roared to his lieutenants. ”You heard the shiny man! Every ship! Every warrior! I don’t care if you have to drag them from their mating dens! We move!” A horde of jagged, organic vessels, like a swarm of angry locusts, tore into the void.

Deep in the Lyra Cluster, the Psion collective, a shimmering cloud of intelligence, ceased its contemplation and simply... moved. It folded space around itself, a silent, terrifying wave of pure thought heading for the same destination.

The Mechanist’s polyhedron-shaped factory worlds detatched their planetary engines, transforming into unimaginably vast weapons platforms, their calculations focused on a single, simple outcome: target elimination.

From every direction, from every civilization, an armada of incalculable size and power was converging on a single, silent point in the dark.

On the bridge of the Nova Sanctum, the sensors went insane.

Reia stared at the screen, her face pale. ”I’m... I’m reading multiple fleet signatures. Hundreds. Thousands. They’re appearing from every vector. Diva, Ashura... and things I can’t even classify. The energy readings are off the scale.”

Silas whistled, his usual bravado gone. ”Well, they got the message. Looks like they all RSVP’d ’yes’.”

Evelyn’s hands tightened on the tactical console. ”They’re not even forming up. They’re just... gathering. It’s a no-fly zone the size of a solar system.”

Vyn closed her eyes, sensing the immense, hostile pressure building around them. ”They are united in their fear. It is a terrible thing to behold.”

Kaelis, still small on the back of the captain’s chair, let out a low growl. ”Let them come. They will find our teeth are sharp.”

Reia opened a channel to the Vault, her voice tight with urgency. ”Lucian, Marc, come in. The situation out here has changed. Drastically. The entire universe is knocking on our door. Whatever you’re doing in there, you need to do it faster.”

There was no response. Only the silent, ominous hum of the Vault’s frequency.

Outside the Sanctum, the space around them began to fill with ships. It was a sight no living being had ever witnessed. The perfect, geometric formations of the Diva floated beside the chaotic, aggressive hordes of the Ashura. The silent, mind-ships of the Psion drifted near the brutal, industrial war-machines of the Mechanist. They ignored each other. Every weapon, every sensor, every ounce of hostile intent was focused on the tiny, distorted patch of space that held the Echo Vault, and the single, battered ship guarding it.

They were a jury of billions, gathered to pass a sentence of absolute annihilation.

On the bridge, Silas finally broke the silence, his voice a dry croak.

”So... what’s the plan now?”

The countdown in the Vault continued.

00:00:58

And the gathered armada of the entire universe began to power their primary weapons.

Echo Vault.

[You know you can end this right? You just have to become the Infinal God, you can stop all these]

”But it will be too late, by the time I finish the trip to be the Infinal God, this universe is gone and my father would win.”

[It was bound to happen]
