Chapter 171: Training Started

Ethan suddenly felt a chill on his back and looked where the 1st prince and the 3rd prince were.

But what he saw was an innocent smile on his face.

Ethan was a little confused, what was that bad feeling about?

He looked at his mother and asked,

”Mother, now that I have an aptitude, what do I do now?”

Trina smiled gently,

”Now that you have the elemental magus aptitude, I will teach you for 3 years, until you turn 6. Then you will be sent to the elemental magus academy.”

Ethan’s eyes were sparkling,

”Mother, would you teach me magic? When can we start?” he asked in a super excited tone.

Trina and Cadis Di Raizel smiled when they saw how excited Ethan was.

”Don’t be impatient, my son. It is not a good look for a prince,” said Cadis Di Raizel slowly.

”I am sorry father. I’ll be careful not to bring shame upon you in the future.”

His father slowly ruffled his hair,

”You didn’t bring me any shame, on the contrary, you brought so much pride.”

Ethan felt very proud when he heard the praise.

Trina said,

”Let’s eat first.”

After the eating session, Aliana took Ethan to meet with the 1st and 3rd prince.

They were talking with some guests when Aliana arrived with Ethan.

”Elder brother, little brother wants to meet you.”

The first prince was named Adrian Di Raizel. He was 13 years old this year.

In this magus world, children matured very quickly, and 12 was the official age of becoming an adult, and they could get married too.

So practically Adrian was an adult.

He looked at Ethan with a very gentle smile,

”I am Adrian Di Raizel. It’s nice to meet you, Ethan. I am so proud of you little brother. I am waiting for the day you surpass me, even surpass father, and make the entire royal family very proud.”

Ethan was flustered by his gentle behaviour as Orion wasn’t this friendly to him.

”Hello elder brother, it’s nice to meet you too. I will surely live up to your expectations,” Ethan replied enthusiastically.

Then the 3rd prince also gently smiled at him,

”Hello little brother, I am your 3rd brother, Robert Di Raizel. It’s nice to meet you.”

Ethan also greeted him. These two brothers of his were very good to him, but why did his gut feeling tell him to be careful around them?

After the meeting period was over,

There was the dancing phase. Some little girls with nice dresses came to Ethan and said very cutely,

”Umm... Prince Ethan, can we dance?”

Ethan got 5 proposals at once. He became flustered. He didn’t know how to talk to girls of his age.

He looked at his elder sister for help, who was smiling by the side.

Ethan was at a loss for words. What to say? Then his mother suddenly came and said,

”Sorry pretty ladies, the prince needs to be somewhere else. Thank you for asking him.”

Ethan heaved a sigh of relief.

”Thank you mother.”

Trina was surprised, ”Aren’t you mad because I pulled you from there?”

Ethan said, ”I am very happy. Why would I be mad?”

Trina didn’t say anything and took him away.

The day was over. It was time to leave the main palace and return to their own.

Emperor Cadis Di Raizel also went with them. He would stay at their palace tonight.

The 1st empress was gritting her teeth with hatred. Today was supposed to be her night with her husband, but this brat had a space elemental aptitude. That changed everything.

The Emperor was biased toward Ethan before, but from today, he would be obsessed. But that was not good for her son, who was in the line for becoming the crown prince.

She needed to do something, and that would need to be done soon.

She looked at Adrian and said,

”Come to my palace tonight, we have a lot to discuss.”

Adrian looked at the venomous face of his mother and smiled,

”Of course mother. We indeed have a lot to discuss.”

The carriage soon reached Trina’s palace. This time a lot of guards were protecting the carriage as the emperor was inside it.

The carriage stopped and the general opened the door.

They stepped out and entered the palace.

After entering, Cadis said,

”Ethan, meet me at the training room.”

Then he vanished from there.

Ethan looked at his mother, who was smiling,

”Go ahead. You are going to be trained by the strongest Arch Magus of the empire, my dear son. You are so lucky.”

Ethan was surprised to learn that his father was this powerful.

”Okay mother,” he ran toward the training room.

”Slow down, or else you might trip on your feet,” Trina said from behind.

Ethan just waved his hand and vanished.

Trina smiled. Today was the proudest day of her life.

Soon Ethan reached the training room. His father was already waiting for him there in training clothes. He was looking outside through the window, his hands behind his back.

He had a majestic aura surrounding him.

Ethan said,

”Father, I am here.”

Cadis looked at him and said,

”Go change into the training clothes.”

His face was very serious at that moment. He had fully entered trainer mode.

Ethan immediately changed and went to him.

Cadis nodded at him and started talking slowly.

”First you need to know what to train. As an elemental magus, you won’t need to store mana inside your body like the knights.

You can manipulate mana from the enviroment through your willpower and use that mana to create the magic you want.

So you need to learn manipulation. Once you reach the Arch Magus level, you will be able to store mana inside your cells.

That’s a lesson for later.

Now sit down and close your eyes.”

Ethan did as he was asked to do.

”Now try to feel the air. You will be able to see some glowing particles. Once you see them, try to catch them with your will.Don’t need to rush. Many people can’t see the particles even after months.”
