Chapter 819: Chapter 818: Acquisition Turmoil (4 More Updates)

Jiang Shuying could practice on her own now, so Ye Haochuan got ready to return to his room for cultivation. But just then, his phone rang. When Ye Haochuan picked it up, he was surprised to find that it was Zhao Bingqian who was calling.

”Uncle, where are you? There’s a problem at the store,” came Zhao Bingqian’s somewhat anxious voice from the other end of the phone.

”I understand, I’ll come over right away.”

Ye Haochuan did not ask further, as he knew Zhao Bingqian’s personality. If it were not a big problem, she would not have sought him out so easily.

Although the price of Ice Muscle Revitalizing Cream was high, its remarkable effects were well-known; hence it had gained widespread recognition and seen a significant sales increase, even attracting people from neighboring cities.

When he arrived at the store, a sign was already hung up indicating that the business was closed for reorganization.

”What happened?” Ye Haochuan asked an employee.

”Mr. Ye, today seven or eight people came to the store making a scene, claiming that they experienced side effects from our Ice Muscle Revitalizing Cream. President Zhao was worried about our reputation, so we temporarily closed the store,” the employee replied truthfully.

”Where is she?”

”In the office, the troublemakers are all in there too.”

”Alright, go back to your work.”

Ye Haochuan walked into the office to find it noisy and chaotic; the people were talking at once, non-stop.

”Your product has a problem, look, after using it my face broke out with red rashes!”

”You need to give us an explanation today!”

”That’s right, if you don’t compensate us, we’re going to court!”

”I thought your product really worked miracles, but it turns out it’s just a fake!”

”Uncle!”

Zhao Bingqian, surrounded and utterly overwhelmed, looked to Ye Haochuan like she was seeing a savior.

”It’s okay, I’ll handle this.” Ye Haochuan gave her a reassuring look, and Zhao Bingqian instantly breathed a sigh of relief. With Ye Haochuan there, she had nothing to worry about.

”Who are you to deal with this anyway?”

Obviously, the troublemakers were not impressed with Ye Haochuan, a stranger to them.

”He is our company’s boss!” Zhao Bingqian pouted, ”Haven’t you been insisting on talking to the boss?”

Those seven or eight people immediately crowded around, their mouths spitting accusations: ”So you are the boss, huh? Look at the mess you’ve gotten us into!”

”Give us an explanation, how are you going to handle this?”

”A shop that scams people like this should just close down, stop cheating others altogether!”

Ye Haochuan frowned slightly. He knew the effects of the Ice Muscle Revitalizing Cream; it definitely had no side effects, and the fact that all these people showed up the same day demanding explanations certainly warranted further investigation.

”Bingqian, call Wenfeng and ask him to bring some people over, but remember not to enter the store. Wait outside and don’t be noticed.”

Zhao Bingqian nodded and went out to make the call.

”Ladies and gentlemen, please calm down and listen to me!”

At this point, Ye Haochuan spoke up clearly: ”I have taken note of your problems, and as the boss, I will not ignore them. However, you will have to give us some time to investigate.”

”What’s there to investigate anymore! Aren’t these rashes on my face evidence enough?”

Ye Haochuan looked at the person and said coldly: ”The rash on your face is indeed real, but whether or not it’s caused by our products cannot be taken at your word alone!”

”What do you mean? Are you trying to avoid responsibility?!”

”If indeed there is a problem with our products, I won’t have a second thought about whatever compensation you demand, but I hope you can give us a little time.”

Those people were not willing to budge, pushing further by saying, ”No, you must provide an explanation right now!”

”Exactly, you can’t expect to stall for time!”

Suddenly, the office became noisy again, and Ye Haochuan instantly slammed the table: ”Quiet down, all of you!”

The aura of the Cultivator could not help but slightly disperse, causing those people to instantly feel a chill in their hearts, becoming dead silent.

”If possible, come back in three days, otherwise, we’re calling the police right now!”

Ye Haochuan’s tone was very domineering, these people came to cause trouble, and they all chickened out immediately, with one of them saying, ”Fine! We’ll give you three days!”

”If you don’t give us a satisfactory explanation in three days, don’t expect to continue running this store!”

After throwing out a few harsh words, the troublemakers reluctantly left.

Ye Haochuan immediately took out his phone and called Li Wenfeng.

”Wenfeng, keep a close watch on those people leaving the store now!”

”Brother Ye, rest assured, I’m on it!”

After the troublemakers left, Zhao Bingqian came to the office and couldn’t help asking, ”Uncle, what on earth is going on?”

”Somebody is surely jealous of our business and trying to sabotage us secretly.”

Zhao Bingqian was shocked: ”What should we do then?”

”Don’t worry, I’ve already had people watch them. We will have news soon.”

...

Suddenly, negative rumors about Ice Muscle Revitalizing Cream caused a storm on the internet, with all kinds of sneering and onlookers. Of course, there were also those who had used the Ice Muscle Revitalizing Cream and found it effective and spoke in its defense.

Ye Haochuan sat in Zhao Bingqian’s office with a solemn expression.

”Our products are certainly fine. This is definitely someone trying to frame us!” Zhao Bingqian said through gritted teeth.

”No matter who it is, if they dare target us, I will make sure they know how formidable I am!” Ye Haochuan said coldly.

Just then, Zhao Bingqian’s secretary rushed in and whispered a few words to her.

Zhao Bingqian furrowed her brows and said to Ye Haochuan, ”It looks like trouble has come knocking again!”

”Oh? Is it another disturbance?”

”No, it’s someone from the Wen Family of the Imperial Capital. They want to acquire our Ice Muscle Revitalizing Cream!” Zhao Bingqing said with a grave face.

Hearing this, Ye Haochuan’s eyebrows relaxed slightly, and he smirked, saying lightly, ”They’re getting anxious so soon, huh?”

Just as the negative news about Ice Muscle Revitalizing Cream came out, the folks from the Imperial Capital were immediately proposing an acquisition. The answer seemed obvious.

To buy at a lower price, certain malicious people purposely created some negative news, causing a drastic drop in sales and market value of Ice Muscle Revitalizing Cream, so they could justifiably acquire it at a low price.

But, how could Ye Haochuan possibly let them get their way?

”Don’t worry, I’ll be right there.”

Hanging up the phone, Ye Haochuan drove off in that Chery QQ, speeding all the way.

Upon arriving at the store’s conference room, a group of strangers immediately stood up and greeted him with smiles, ”This must be Mr. Ye, hello, my name is Wen Cheng, from the Wen Family of the Imperial Capital.”

As the saying goes, one does not strike a smiling face, so Ye Haochuan shook hands with him.

Then, another person stood up and said with a smile, ”Mr. Ye, hello, my name is Zhou Lin, from the Zhou Family of the Imperial Capital.”

Seeing Ye Haochuan looking somewhat puzzled, Zhao Bingqian immediately whispered in his ear, ”The Zhou Family just arrived; they also want to acquire our product.”

After scanning the room, Ye Haochuan smiled slightly, no wonder they were so impatient – it seemed they were afraid someone else would beat them to it!
