Global Survival: I Got the D-Rank Personnel Simulator

The supermarket wreckage rolled onto the manhole cover. Lin Ye moved to the side of the manhole cover at top speed and forcefully lifted it open. Below was pitch black.

“Go down first.”

Lin Ye pushed the three of them into the well, then jumped down himself.

The last part of the supermarket debris was blasted away. Rainwater fell onto the spiritual energy shield. Lin Ye looked up at the gradually receding well opening. A huge red eyeball, about to open, was watching them through the well.

The so-called Red Moon was just the center of the eyeball.

Inside the well, there was no connection to the sewer. Instead, it was a pitch-black, lightless tunnel. The four kept falling, unable to touch anything around them.

After several minutes, a spot of light appeared below. As they continued falling, the light spot expanded. It was an open well entrance.

The four fell out of the well. The world flipped, and they naturally landed on the road outside the well entrance.

Both sides of the road were normal neighborhoods. Some buildings looked very familiar.

“This is Station No.4?”Ding Wei stood up and asked.

“It should be daytime in Station No.4.”

Xia Xi rubbed her head and lay on the road. She didn’t want to move at all now, only wanting to get back to the shelter for a hot shower.

“When it gets dark here, if we jump down again, can we get back alive?”

Liu Rui squatted at the well entrance. She had always liked sports, so she was still in decent shape.

“If nothing unexpected happens.”

Lin Ye cautiously sensed the surroundings. He didn’t want to die here for some unknown reason. Until he returned to the shelter, he wouldn’t completely relax.

“Should we explore around and grab some loot on the way?”

Ding Wei looked at a nearby car shop. He wanted to get a motorcycle to bring back. Maybe it could be useful later.

“Have you ever played a parachuting simulator?”

Lin Ye looked up at the sky. He was just waiting for night to fall and the Red Moon to appear. Then he would jump into the well.

“I’m a pro. I can jump several times in ten minutes.”

Ding Wei said proudly.

“There’s an item inside where teammates board a plane to escape. Someone always ends up staying behind for some reason… why aren’t you going?”

Lin Ye took out an energy drink and took a sip.

“...Thinking about it carefully, it seems like returning to Station No.5 also lets you collect loot.”

Ding Wei decided to follow his heart.

“Lin Ge, I want to eat a delicious energy bar.”

Xia Xi lay down with her body spread out like a star, staring at the sky, zoning out.

Lin Ye directly took out an energy bar and threw it to Xia Xi. He didn’t want to waste it, but he really hated the taste of that thing.

Liu Rui reached out and caught the energy bar, tore off the wrapper, and took a bite.

“Pfft, really tasty. Here you go.”

Liu Rui handed the bitten energy bar to Xia Xi.

“Thanks.”

Xia Xi, now completely zoning out, took it without much thought and bit into it.

“Ah, so disgusting.”

Although she said it was disgusting, Xia Xi still finished the rest of the energy bar. This made Ding Wei curiously ask Lin Ye for one.

In the end, the pain transferred to Ding Wei’s face.

Like energy conservation, pain and pleasure are equally conserved.

What you don’t want, you can impose on others.

The sky gradually darkened. The Red Moon appeared in the night sky. Before the red rain fell, they jumped one by one into the dark well.

Just like before, they successfully returned to Station No.5. The surrounding buildings had been restored. Only some small mutated creatures were still active in the city.

Ding Wei got the motorcycle he wanted. The others also collected some loot. After adding each other as friends, the four boarded the bus for the return trip.

[Please draw today’s card]

“My turn! Draw!”

The red-haired rabbit had disappeared. Without caring about the treasure chests and loot piled in the shelter’s center, Lin Ye immediately started his daily card draw.

This time the card showed a snail. After the card dissipated, a fist-sized snail with a bright red shell appeared in the shelter’s center.

The snail slowly crawled toward Lin Ye, who held it in his hand.

“What abilities do you have?”

Lin Ye tapped the snail’s four semi-transparent tendrils with his index finger and asked.

“Jiji.”

The snail’s tendrils kept contracting and expanding, making a sharp sound.

“Sounds good, but I probably won’t use your skill today.”

After communicating with the little snail for a while, Lin Ye started processing the loot.

First were the living supplies pulled back with the cart. These items were just like ordinary living supplies. The system information showed no issues. After bringing them back to the shelter, the system didn’t react.

Lin Ye categorized and stored them in the basement to use slowly later.

Next, Lin Ye cleared out the loot space. Inside, besides living supplies, there was only a cup of orange juice that had turned red and a red crystal about half a person tall.

The system information for the orange juice didn’t change. Lin Ye poured the orange juice into a bottle to store as a special material.

[Red Core]

[Crystalline body born inside aberrations polluted by Red Sea creatures]

[Note: Can be used to make active spiritual energy items, not edible]

‘Red Sea creatures? That huge eye?’

‘Red Sea? Does it have anything to do with the Red Maze?’

Lin Ye didn’t think much. Speculation was not fact. What he needed to know, he would find out sooner or later.

After dealing with the loot, Lin Ye started opening boxes.

First was the red special metal treasure chest.

Opening the chest, there was only a necklace inside.

[Red Core Pendant]

[Third-tier spiritual energy item. Wearing the pendant can slowly improve physical fitness]

[Note: Long-term wearing will cause the pendant to become part of the body]

The Red Core Pendant was composed of a red thin thread and a semi-transparent red crystal ring. The thread material was unknown.

Lin Ye put the pendant around his neck, feeling nothing unusual.

‘I can try wearing it during spiritual energy circulation later.’

Taking off the pendant, Lin Ye continued opening boxes.

This time, the three extra mission treasure chests were red instead of the previous yellow.

The three extra missions were the same, but the contents of the three chests were not identical.

The chest for mission one contained a card.

[Special Event Card]

[Using this card at the start of a nighttime activity allows solo participation in a special nighttime event]

[Note: Low-tier spiritual energy users are forbidden to use this card]

“If I’m forbidden to use it, why give it to me?”

Although the note stated it was forbidden, survivors could use any item, but consequences were at their own risk.

The chest for mission two contained 10 bottles of low-tier nutrient solution and 5 bottles of mental energy potion.

The chest for mission three contained a dark red dagger.

[Mutated Dagger]

[Third-tier spiritual energy item. Can cause rapid mutation inside wounds]

[Note: Do not attempt to use it for healing injuries]
