Ling Tian Sword God

Chapter 1415: Chapter 1414: Possession

”Master?”

The moment Hong Ye appeared, she was still somewhat unclear about the situation, but upon seeing the Bone Woman in front of her, she immediately took a step back, her expression reaching the peak of vigilance.

She naturally knew that standing before her was none other than the master of this shrine, the renowned Bone Woman.

”Master, she is the Bone Woman I’ve been telling you about.”

Hong Ye whispered to Ling Chen.

The Bone Woman is a fearsome Ghost God, her power surpassing even that of the Green-Faced Deity from their Izumo Shrine by a considerable margin; she is not to be underestimated.

”I know.”

Ling Chen nodded nonchalantly.

”You know?”

Hong Ye looked at Ling Chen incredulously, realizing he knew this was the Bone Woman, yet could stand there so nonchalantly?

”Don’t worry, the Bone Woman is not an enemy.”

Ling Chen patted Hong Ye’s shoulder. ”In fact, there’s an opportunity I want to grant you, but it depends on whether you’re willing.”

”Opportunity?” Hong Ye’s face slightly tensed. ”Please speak, Master.”

Ling Chen briefly explained the situation about the Bone Woman’s possession.

”The Bone Woman wants to possess me?”

Hong Ye was taken aback, but her beautiful eyes sparkled with instinctive surprise because allowing a Ghost God’s true form to possess a human was something she had never heard of.

What shocked her even more was that Ling Chen possessed the Eight-chi Kongo Jade, a divine object; with it, the impossible seemed possible. The Bone Woman’s possession sounded absurd, but under the effect of the Eight-chi Kongo Jade, the chances of success were quite high.

For her, this indeed was a great opportunity.

Now, the Ghost God within her, was merely an avatar of the Green-faced Ghost, not even considered an avatar, because strictly speaking, only the avatars within Great Yin-Yang Masters’ bodies could be counted; shrine maidens like her only bore a trace of the Ghost God’s divided power.

Yet now, Ling Chen wanted to seal the Bone Woman herself in her body, which was undoubtedly a thousand times stronger than the Green-faced Ghost’s trace of divided power.

But once she chose to do so, there was risk involved because she was currently a shrine maiden of Izumo Shrine. Accepting the Bone Woman meant betraying the Green-faced Ghost, betraying Izumo Shrine, causing her to become a traitor of Izumo Shrine.

However, how could an opportunity so great not come with immense risk?

”Master, I am willing.”

Without thinking too much, Hong Ye nodded, agreeing.

The allure of the Bone Woman’s strength was too great; if she could obtain the Bone Woman’s power, her strength would rapidly advance, achieving a leap forward, offering her a brighter future than dying quietly at Izumo Shrine.

Moreover, she was a shrine maiden of Izumo Shrine, but she was also the daughter of Liu Sheng Qianbingwei. Her entry into Izumo Shrine was not for its sake; if she acquired the Bone Woman’s powers, it would undoubtedly be of great benefit to the Liu Sheng Family.

Compared to that, the risk seems insignificant.

”Very well,”

Ling Chen’s eyes revealed a glimmer as he looked towards the Bone Woman opposite them. ”Then let’s start.”

”Alright.”

The Bone Woman nodded and then looked at Hong Ye in front of her and said, ”Before starting the ritual, the Green-faced Ghost pattern on your body needs to be removed.”

Having prepared, Hong Ye undressed, revealing a flawless body as white and delicate as jade, fully exposed.

Hong Ye’s figure was excellent, her skin smooth and delicate throughout, with no excess flesh, her curves in all the right places, her bust prominent, her waist slender, her legs rounded and long; yet Ling Chen’s gaze was focused solely on the Ghost pattern on her back.

The Ghost pattern was evidently somewhat similar to the Green-faced Ghost, surrounded by bizarre runes, appearing exceedingly complex.

The Bone Woman extended her hand, transforming into a skeletal claw, resting on Hong Ye’s back. The bone claw pierced her skin, leaving a bloody mark from which light spread, quickly enveloping her entire back.

The Ghost pattern filled with the blood-like light, seemingly activated, and at that moment, the Bone Woman’s eyes gathered a sharp gleam, then her claw moved, drawing a mass of black fog from Hong Ye’s body.

In the black fog, there was a grim ghostly shadow, struggling fiercely, with a horn on its head, green face and tusks, precisely the Green-faced Ghost worshipped at Izumo Shrine.

”What are you trying to do?”

The Green-faced Ghost shadow was dragged out, panic suddenly appearing on its ugly face, to remove it forcibly from a shrine maiden’s body involved skills only a Ghost God possessed.

”What do you think?”

The Bone Woman’s face curled into a cold smile, then she grasped, causing Mori White Flames to suddenly spread from her bone claw, enveloping the Green-faced Ghost shadow, instantly burning it to emit wisps of blue smoke.

Its mouth uttering sharp screams, the Green-faced Ghost shadow was terrified and then glaring at Hong Ye vehemently. ”You treacherous little girl, how dare you betray me! You’re doomed, all of you are doomed!”

The Green-faced Ghost shadow kept spewing curses, yet the Bone Woman completely ignored it, and under the burning of Mori White Flames, the Green-faced Ghost shadow grew smaller until it was burned away completely, vanishing without a trace.

As the ghostly image burned away, the Ghost patterns on Hong Ye’s back slowly faded into invisibility.

With the dispersal of the Ghost patterns, the Bone Woman extended her hand to redraw new patterns on Hong Ye’s back, the connected lines forming a Mori White skeleton marking imprinted on Hong Ye’s back.

This marking belonged to the Bone Woman.

The skeleton marking gradually illuminated, surrounding the Bone Woman’s body. At this moment, the Bone Woman looked at Ling Chen. ”You can proceed now!”

Upon her words, Ling Chen flipped his hand, revealing the Divine Dragon Jade. Activated by him, a blood-colored light shot out from the Divine Dragon Jade, enveloping the bodies of the Bone Woman and Hong Ye.

The blood-colored light encased the two women, then the Bone Woman’s body gradually merged with the red light as if completely assimilating into it, her form twisting, the red light she transformed into gently merging into the skeleton pattern on Hong Ye’s back, slowly embedding into her.

As the red glow seeped into her body, Hong Ye’s face revealed a touch of suffering. Clearly, she was enduring immense pressure; without the Divine Dragon Jade, nobody would dare accept the true possession of a Ghost God, as it virtually meant certain death.
