Warlock Apprentice

Chapter 1672: Section 1673 Trom’s Request

”The second reward is still the card in everyone’s hands. With this card, you all can obtain Level 1 authority in Sky Mechanical City.”

With Level 1 authority, Sky Mechanical City will offer various benefits. For example, you can fly at low altitudes to a limited extent. Or, for some shops with entry restrictions, like the Nail Alchemy House which only Alchemists can enter, you can bypass these restrictions with Level 1 authority.

Level 1 authority is equivalent to being a semi-permanent citizen of Sky Mechanical City.

For wandering Wizards, it is actually a pretty good choice. However, for those who are part of a Witcher Organization, this reward is just the icing on the cake.

Among those who entered the top hundred, wandering Wizards are few and far between. In the top ten, only Asaz is considered a wandering Wizard.

However, Asaz is a gourmet, staying in Sky Mechanical City doesn’t offer much improvement for him. If he were to choose himself, he would definitely still follow Greya, which would yield greater benefits.

Although the second reward is fairly ordinary, it is available to everyone, which is not bad at all.

”Next, are the rewards for the top fifteen. Not only will your Endless Corridor floors increase to three hundred, but all of you also have the qualification to enter the Infinite Battle Tower’s Material Library.”

A large part of the Infinite Battle Tower’s Material Library supplies the Sky auction, indicating that the materials inside are very rare indeed.

”And then, there are the exclusive rewards for you,” Melisa said, turning her gaze to the ten people at the front.

”From fourth to tenth place, in addition to the previous rewards, each of you has the opportunity for Alchemy Customization, which will be provided by Ashliea Comprehensive College. For specific details, you can go to Ashliea after the end.”

As these words fell, not only did the competitors get excited, but the entire spectator stands erupted in excitement.

This is Alchemy Customization!

When they buy Alchemy Tools, be it weapons, protection, or functional gear, they are already grateful for getting something close to what they want. But Alchemy Customization is tailored to them, the best fit for their individual needs!

Ordinarily, even if they spend a lot of money to obtain Alchemy Customization, Alchemists might not be willing to accept the job. And even if an Alchemist accepts a customization order, it’s probably not from a renowned one.

This time, directly handled by the Infinite Battle Tower and custom made by Ashliea’s Alchemists, this is undoubtedly the most valuable reward currently, aside from the Endless Corridor qualification!

Even for some people, it might be more important than the Endless Corridor qualification!

”If the rewards for fourth to tenth place are like this, it’s hard to imagine what the top three’s rewards could be?”

As the audience thought this, Melisa quickly clarified the rewards for the top three.

”Of course, the top three also have the reward of Alchemy Customization, but yours will be provided by the Research and Development Institute.”

As her voice fell, not only were the people in the audience stunned, but the competitors on the scene were also dumbfounded. The Research and Development Institute... directly providing? Does that mean it’s being crafted by the members of the Research Institute?

You see, the Research and Development Institute is the true Holy Land for Alchemists in the entire Southern Domain Wizard World!

Every member within it can be called a Master!

The weight of this reward is simply astounding! Not only is it made by Alchemy Masters, but according to what Melisa said, it is also ”customized”!

They were just surprised by the Alchemy Customization offered by Ashliea Comprehensive College, but now facing this reward, they were not just surprised, they were ecstatic!

Even Official Wizards or True Knowledge Wizards would not remain calm in the face of such a reward.

And this reward is for apprentices who haven’t even been promoted to Wizards yet!

It’s no wonder it’s from the Infinite Battle Tower; its strength and wealth are simply beyond the imagination of outsiders.

While everyone was still marveling at this reward, Melisa threw out another bombshell: ”In addition to Alchemy Customization, the top three winners have an additional reward: you can each make a request to the Infinite Battle Tower. As long as it’s reasonable, we will grant it.”

To directly make a request!

Although there is a restriction that the request must be reasonable, it doesn’t really matter.

If other organizations say that the request must be reasonable, their interpretation of ”reasonable” would definitely keep shrinking. But the way Infinite Battle Tower has behaved before shows that they are very wealthy and generous, and as long as the request is not too excessive, they will certainly agree.

”What specifically counts as reasonable?” Kavoline asked.

During this competition, because of an accident, she faced a demon behind Asaz and therefore didn’t make it into the top three. However, the Xiliu lying unconscious on her back was the third place. Therefore, it was for Xiliu that Kavoline was asking.

”As for what’s within the scope of reason...” Melisa paused, ”This is hard to define, but I can give you an example. If you ask for a Mysterious Object, we probably couldn’t grant it. But, if it’s other things, such as another alchemy customization or upgrading card privileges, those would be possible.”

”Do you understand now?”

Mysterious Objects are rare, and sometimes they are not even something that can be measured by value. Even the Infinite Battle Tower wouldn’t agree to give out Mysterious Objects if they were requested.

But, setting Mysterious Objects as the ceiling of this ”reasonable” request means the scope is indeed very large!

”I understand,” Kavoline nodded, a trace of regret flashing in her eyes. If she hadn’t used the time-witch’s pursuit during the competition, she might not have been so unlucky and could possibly have made it into the top three. Regrettably, it was of no use to regret it now.

”That’s all the rewards,” Melisa paused, ”Now the top three can make their requests. Of course, you can also choose to retain them and make the request in the future.”

After Melisa finished speaking, her gaze slowly settled on Trom.

Among the top three, Xiliu was currently unconscious, which may seem impolite, but Angel had already explained Xiliu’s condition to her before, so she understood. After all, the request could be made later, so there’s no harm in waiting until Xiliu is not with Jiebo to make it.

As for Onassis, he had already made a request earlier. Thus, Melisa did not look towards Xiliu and Onassis but focused only on Trom, the only one who might still make a request.

The Magic Energy Eye was also focused on Trom at the moment, allowing the audience to clearly see Trom’s expression through the screen.

His expression was hesitant, as if he was contemplating whether to make a request now.

Melisa didn’t hurry him, simply waiting quietly.

However, before Trom could speak, it was Onassis on the other side who spoke first.

Outsiders didn’t know Onassis had already made a request, so they all thought Onassis would make one. They were all looking forward to seeing what kind of request this dark horse who had suddenly burst onto the scene would make.

”I have a question,” Onassis said.

Melisa looked at him: ”Go ahead.”

”I would like to know if I can specify someone to help me with my alchemy customization?”

Melisa gave Onassis a deep look: ”That may be difficult, because it depends on whether the other party has the time and is willing to take on the task.”

Onassis’s face showed some disappointment, and he said no more.

This, however, made other people breathe a sigh of relief.

”He must have read too many books and gone silly...” The bystanders ridiculed in their hearts. Onassis’s question was too likely to offend people. It was also fortunate that Melisa did not counter with ”Who do you want to refine for you?” If that had been asked and Onassis answered, he might have ended up offending the entire Research and Development Institute.

As everyone privately sneered, Trom seemed to have finally made up his mind and spoke up.

”I have a request.”

Everyone, including Melisa, turned their attention to Trom.

”I want to have a duel with a Transcendental Wizard!”
