Chapter 1655: Section 1656 Instant Teleportation

”Is this... Cassiomere?” Onassis looked at the massive phantom behind Trom, his eyes sparking with curious inquiry.

”Yes, it is Cassiomere, and also my close friend,” Trom replied generously, influenced by Onassis’s previous gentlemanly conduct in the fair competition.

Trom took a slow step forward, his ice blades gathered like a Rain of Blades, meanwhile a voice carrying a grand meaning emanated from Trom, ”I still can’t fully control its power, you need to be careful.”

As soon as he finished speaking, with a loud bang, Trom’s figure suddenly disappeared.

While the audience was still puzzled searching for Trom’s whereabouts, Onassis was suddenly knocked from the floating low altitude into the sea, causing a splash over ten meters high.

It turned out that Trom had appeared behind Onassis at some unknown point in time.

This was simply—teleportation!

After Onassis was knocked into the sea, Trom’s figure once again vanished, and within a short second or two, the splash surged anew as Onassis was struck by Trom directly from underwater to the sky!

As Onassis lost control of his body, continuously rising higher, Trom once again appeared beside Onassis with a teleportation-like eerie speed.

The phantom behind Trom reared its head and whinnied skyward; he waved his four hooves, carrying immense force, and viciously stomped towards Onassis’s chest, sending Onassis plummeting towards the ocean again.

This time, everyone clearly saw, the golden light surrounding Onassis began to thin out and even started to waver.

In the following minute, the arena completely turned into Trom’s stage.

His every movement, carrying no trace of flashiness, directly appeared beside Onassis. In the short span of massive displacements, not only did teleportation effects appear, but vast numbers of afterimages were also left in the air, on the sea surface, and underwater, as if numerous avatars had emerged.

Under such powerful offensive strikes from Trom, the entire oceanic environment underwent drastic changes, with water splashing chaotically, the Ice Realm spreading continuously, ice shards like knives, and low clouds pressing down on the city.

Onassis, like a rag doll, was non-stop attacked, and the golden light on him grew dimmer and dimmer.

The spectator seats also boiled over due to this thrilling counterattack!

When a ’crack’ sound was heard, the golden light surrounding Onassis completely dissolved into nothingness, everyone understood—

Onassis’s absolute defense had been broken.

This also meant that Trom’s ferocious attacks had surpassed the limits Onassis could bear, reaching a true Wizard Level!

”Is this the power of the phantom stag?” There had been many in the audience who doubted Trom’s strength, as his previous battles had all been somewhat odd. The Hellfire Witch surrendered to him voluntarily, and the Devil Gourmet’s strength suddenly plummeted mid-fight; these unusual signs led everyone to label Trom as a ”Lucky One.”

But now, when Trom erupted with Wizard Level offensive power, everyone fell silent.

All that unfolded before their eyes was undeniable; even if Trom’s previous matches counted as luck, there was no doubt that Trom’s capabilities could indeed rank him at the pinnacle of the Apprentice pyramid.

Upon confirming this fact, the crowd couldn’t help but sigh and wonder. This newcomers tournament had seen too many dark horses that had never been seen before, including the two now in the finals, whether the phantom stag or the Philosopher, had been apprentices unseen in the past.

The emergence of dark horses was bewildering, but at the same time, the appearance of so many previously unseen dark horses also indicated that the entire Southern Domain Wizard World was in an ascendant phase.

Perhaps, these dark horses would one day become Great Wizards renowned across the world.

Being alive in the same era as them, perhaps, was also a kind of luck.

The match continued, and after Onassis’s defense shield was broken, Trom’s attack did not stop but escalated into a furious combination.

With the relentless Power of Ice and offensive power that surpassed the Wizard Level.

As Onassis endured this fierce assault, his face grew paler and his body was covered with numerous bleeding wounds.

Accompanied by thunder, Onassis was smashed from the sky towards the sea, landing exactly on the sole surviving rock.

When he crashed on the rock, it completely turned into dust, and the ice blocks nearby also shattered explosively.

With a piercing screech that could almost make ears ring, the frozen ocean cracked layer by layer extending to several tens of meters away.

Amidst the scattering fragments of ice and the piercing white light, there was a beautifully fantastical sense of falling petals.

At this moment, Trom seemed almost transformed into a moose, surrounded by white mist at his hooves, like clouds. Standing on clouds, he looked down upon Onassis.

Onassis’s clothes were ragged, his body visibly bruised and purple, and blood was profusely leaking from his eyes, ears, mouth, and nose, making him look extremely miserable.

The audience, upon seeing this scene, felt as if the anxiety gripping their hearts had somewhat eased.

In their eyes, the victor was already apparent.

Trom himself thought the same, exhaling a long breath of white air: ”Is it over?”

Just as Trom thought this, a new change emerged in the arena.

The previously shattered ice allowed the frigid ocean to surge once again. Amidst the rolling waves and roaring, a massive vortex suddenly appeared.

Initially, the vortex spanned only a few meters, but in a few moments, it expanded to over ten meters, twenty meters, until reaching fifty meters.

Simultaneously, a familiar roar emanated from the center of the vortex.

Upon hearing this roar, both the audience outside and the participants on the spot were stunned. The name ”Ocean Troll” surfaced in everyone’s minds.

In the judge’s booth, Farina whispered softly: ”Being named after the sea of trolls, how could there only be two giant trolls. However, the emergence of this troll is indeed an unexpected twist.”

Angel nodded in agreement: ”It seems that Trom has yet to realize the object sealing this giant troll.”

”Nor did he consider how it could be that two rocks appeared mysteriously on the surface of the sea. When something is amiss, there must be a catch.”

In fact, nearly all the Official Wizards in the judges’ booth noticed this from the beginning. Beneath their battlefield, there was a giant troll sealed, and the seal’s representations were the two corresponding rocks on the ocean’s surface.

If they had noticed this in advance and not broken the rocks, the giant troll would have continued to sleep until the end of the match.

But who would have known that Trom would continue to shatter both rocks, thereby incurring the cost of awakening the troll.

This might seem to them an undeserved disaster.

But these variables are the very charm of the Boundless Battle Arena, providing ease while also filled with danger and risk.
