Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

”That’s right. Other Galaxy level beings, even those at the Star River Middle Stage, find it difficult to earn these points. Like my friend here—he might have been capable of fighting a previous Star River Middle Stage opponent, but he couldn’t do it as decisively as I can.”

Jia Yan glanced at his Star River Level Middle Class Comrades beside him and smiled slightly.

He knew that earning such a reward in one battle was likely due to his strength being much greater than the creatures around him. It would be impossible for other Star River Middle Stage beings.

”Lord Jia Yan, don’t just think about exchanging for High-level energy points. Look at this screen; there are many other good things here.”

The Star River Middle Stage being noticed Jia Yan immediately eyeing the advanced energy points and found it somewhat amusing.

As warriors, none of them lacked energy points, but Jia Yan directly went for the energy points upon arriving, showing that his foundation is indeed not as robust as the usual Galaxy Level beings. His talent was too good, and he advanced quickly, leaving him without significant savings, not to mention high energy consumption.

Of course, that’s nothing to mock. After all, having a good talent is something everyone desires, but it’s simply impossible.

However, he didn’t encourage Jia Yan to exchange for energy because the items displayed on the screen are also very good. If he exchanged only for High-level energy points, while their value might not differ too much, actually encountering some of what’s here is a rare opportunity.

Even in the Central Starfield of the Milky Way, some things are hard to find.

”Huh, are there external defense and weapons here?”

Jia Yan looked at the screen again, suddenly taken aback.

For Galaxy Level beings, obtaining external gear is nearly impossible. First, Galaxy Level beings are generally enormous, making it extremely challenging to find weapons and defense armor that fit.

Second, the strength of a Galaxy Level being usually transcends reality, even if there is technology capable of creating gear for them, it wouldn’t be effective.

”Indeed, Lord Jia Yan. Look, while these pieces aren’t full-body suits, there are wearable and detachable ones. Look at this, it’s a foot cover made from the steel most suitable for Star River Level combat, using the technology from the Central Starfield of the Milky Way.”

The Star River Middle Stage being was clearly trying to build a good relationship with Jia Yan, quickly pointing out some items that might be useful to him.

”Oh, it’s quite good.”

Jia Yan felt a bit tempted.

Back when he was weak, he experienced the sensation of possessing weaponry, and because evolution required energy and materials, he had devoured some armaments in the past. There might still be metal material within his body.

Thus, he had no resistance towards equipping gear. It was merely due to advancing too quickly and becoming too powerful for gear to be worthwhile that he abandoned the idea.

Unexpectedly, in the realm of the Insect Clan Queen, there existed gear suitable for the Star River Middle Stage.

”Actually, I’m wrong. I’m already carrying the Adisa battleship like a backpack. Isn’t that considered equipment? I almost forgot.”

Suddenly, Jia Yan remembered he wasn’t devoid of equipment; he had Adisa. Because Adisa was a battleship he used since he was weak and with thrust capabilities, he almost considered it a transformed spacecraft, forgetting it was a backpack-like gear.

Thinking again, Jia Yan smiled slightly and carefully examined the gear.

The Star River Middle Stage being nearby, seeing Jia Yan’s attitude, also smiled slightly.

With another Galaxy Level being, he probably wouldn’t recommend looking at the gear because, like himself, he wasn’t particularly interested in gear.

But seeing Jia Yan with the Adisa on his back, he thought Jia Yan might not resist such gear, thus sharing this information with him.

It’s actually a gesture of goodwill, even giving Jia Yan a favor, potentially asking to repay this favor in the future.

Jia Yan examined the gear on the screen, contemplating for a while.

Indeed, this gear shouldn’t be underestimated. Since the nearby Star River Middle Stage being actively introduced them to Jia Yan, they must be suitable for his stage, tempting Jia Yan with some items.

”For instance, this foot cover—I can put it on my feet. The metal used is crafted using atom compression technology within the universe, with astonishing hardness. The problem is, it has some downsides, such as being fragile and shattering when exceeding its hardness. But for me, these aren’t issues; protection is beneficial. Moreover, during future mutations, it can be a source of external material. It’s been long since I devoured metals during my mutations, time to supplement some ’metal elements’.”

Considering these factors, Jia Yan looked at more gear.

Ultimately, he spent about five thousand points to exchange for the foot metal cover, along with abdominal and reinforced wing protection components.

The material costs for these items exceed the five thousand points, simply because they were seized by the Insect Clan Queen’s forces.

”Very good, thank you, sir. If anything comes up in the future, feel free to tell me.”

After purchasing the gear, Jia Yan’s Star River Level Middle Class Comrades immediately led him to a storage area, where the items were directly located.

Jia Yan thanked several times and began equipping his newfound items.

Honestly, he wasn’t overly surprised nor disappointed.

These pieces, except for the foot atomic compression component, were somewhat roughly made. They were initially designed not for Jia Yan, yet he could easily modify them.

”Lord Jia Yan, no need for all this, we’re all comrades now. There are many opportunities for mutual assistance in the future, aren’t there?”

The comrade didn’t boast, as it wasn’t a big deal. The gesture was to build a rapport, potentially strengthening bonds for future advantages.

Jia Yan also intended to make friends, aiming to broadly connect with others. He understood the value of support.

To confront the black sheep, he needed his network—not necessarily allies willing to go to extremes, but at least on good terms, ensuring they wouldn’t easily side with the black sheep.

Hence, with mutual intent in befriending, the two conversed pleasantly. Jia Yan even participated in lighthearted dialogue during equipment donning, seemingly like old friends.

”Haha, Lord Jia Yan, I didn’t expect this character from you. Earlier, I heard you were quite arrogant; now I see rumors can indeed be damaging. You’re not like that.”

The Star River Middle Stage being, upon getting slightly acquainted, felt far more positively towards Jia Yan, questioning previous hearsay.

”Hehe, whatever outsiders say about me, I’m unaware. But I can assure one thing—that’s Jia Yan never mistreats or betrays friends. I merely wonder if, sir, you’d be willing to be my friend.”

”Of course, of course, Lord Jia Yan. We’re already comrades fighting in the same trench. There’s no need for formality; let’s chat more.”

Jia Yan finished donning gear, actually finding no discomfort save for a slight tightness around his forefeet, with lethal areas on his back protected by a dense metal plate, plus wings encased with metal framework.

(I’ve released a new book under another account, titled ”The Hero Never Surrenders,” with a cultivation system based on the Giant Mosquito! Haha, Jia Yan might make an appearance in the future. Feel free to bookmark and vote recommend. Thanks!
