Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2378: Chapter 44: Successful Advancement (Part 2)

”Alright, since I chose the typical cosmic strongman’s ranking system, I must innovate somewhat. If my strength after promotion is roughly the same as other galactic level strong ones, then even though this new system succeeded, it doesn’t offer much advantage compared to others at the galactic level; it can’t be considered exceptional.”

Jia Yan kept pondering how he should define his Yin-Yang Dao system.

In fact, earlier, when planning to sneakily learn others’ galaxy-level promotion methods, Jia Yan considered whether his Yin-Yang Dao might also have the potential to ascend to the galaxy level. But he worried a bit and thus abandoned this option.

Now, having no choice but to use the Yin-Yang Dao for ascension, he is even more thoughtful about it. Upon reflection, his previous considerations weren’t in vain, as he had pondered this issue back at the lower stellar level. Thus, his cultivation direction and feeling of cultivation were aligned with utilizing the Yin-Yang Dao to advance to the galaxy level. Consequently, the foundation laid then now feels unexpectedly cohesive with the sense of promotion.

”My Yin-Yang Dao, combined with my subspace talent and my Bluish defense, among these components, apart from the Yin-Yang Dao being a major path, the other two are my talents, or perhaps could be counted as my talents. If I could compound these factors during this promotion, would my strength become more refined?”

Jia Yan’s idea was straightforward—his Yin-Yang Dao is essentially a concept or path. So even during promotion to the galaxy level it can change, but only to a limited extent, because drastic changes would contradict the feeling of the path.

Thus, he could only devise strategies in other aspects, and aside from subspace, the uniquely Bluish defense stood out.

And his idea was bold: he wondered if he could make his unique talents meld more seamlessly, which to him was a long-cherished aspiration.

Jia Yan’s intention was to leverage this advantage, causing a transformative shift in his strength post-promotion to the galaxy level, aiming to be among the better ones within the early stage of Star River. The gap in strength within the galaxy level is vast.

From what Jia Yan knows, there is a lot of ambiguity within galaxy level. Instead of saying cosmic strongmen categorize it as a level, it’s rather that there are few galaxy-level beings. Thus, the stronger ones are placed together in the galaxy level. In reality, the strength of mid-tier galactic creatures is much different from early-stage ones, akin to the difference between semi-permanent star level and stellar level, showing the disparity in strength.

He has never intended to conquer a galaxy middle stage right upon reaching the galaxy level.

Buzz...

The brainwave power vibrated within the subspace.

The immediate vibration induced a slight shake throughout Jia Yan’s body.

To Jia Yan, this served as a probe.

Prior to promotion, he sought to pinpoint the resonance point of his brainwave power, then devise a plan to enhance his strength.

”Not bad, the resonance point of my brainwave power can endure a lot, proving the evolutionary creature’s body is nearly perfect in tolerance.”

While feeling the tremor points of his body, Jia Yan concurrently elevated his brainwave power.

Buzz buzz buzz...

The surrounding subspace nearly crumbled due to a massive vibration.

Simultaneously, the residents of the external Country of Taia felt a minor tremble. Still, the effect was so subtle that apart from Jia Yan himself and a few high-ups of Taia aware of his probable promotion, none suspected these were the vibrations caused by a galaxy-level ascension.

In fact, Jia Yan hid in a subspace adjacent to the Taia Nation’s planet, very close to the urban stars of Taia, yet the impact barely reached the outside world. This was because Jia Yan at that moment concealed himself within the second-level subspace.

Even though the double-layered subspace presented challenges for Jia Yan to focus entirely on his ascension, it wasn’t a major hinderance due to his current subspace talent.

Thus, outsiders in Taia struggled to feel the fluctuations within the subspace. Jia Yan even planned that if the disruptions got stronger, he’d retreat to a third-level. Although this would impact his focus on ascension, it wouldn’t be terrifyingly serious.

”Excellent, the endurance level of my brainwave power resonance is absolutely sufficient.”

Jia Yan was extremely satisfied with the endurance level of his brainwave power.

His concept was to amplify his power from the endurance level of his brainwave power, then explode the strength entirely, while using characteristics of the evolutionary creature’s body to massively devour pre-prepared energy supplies, leading to a crucial moment determining his success. As long as the endurance level of his brainwave power sufficed, he could resist the power vibrations and proceed to promotions.

Complicated to say, yet...

It was indeed complicated.

Achieving galaxy level isn’t so straightforward, otherwise, there wouldn’t be just a few stars in the galaxy. Jia Yan found his method relatively simple—other galactic grade existences typically spend considerable time planning for every possibility, as failing promotion would kill most creatures. To Jia Yan, those are fearsome ways to ascend.

Nonetheless, his breakthrough isn’t that frightening. If failed, he could just wait for another chance. Being an evolutionary creature, the current advancement strategy considered his unique advantages, rendering the failure probability very low. For other creatures, where over half would fail out of a hundred attempts, his risk is vastly reduced.

Even in case of failure, he wouldn’t experience the direct fatality faced by other aspirants during attempts, as his unique advancement methodology ensures absolute safety—making it safer for future Yin-Yang Dao aspirants.

Simply this safety advantage might substantially increase future Yin-Yang Dao cultivators.

But to see another individual using Yin-Yang Dao to reach peak stellar and impact the galaxy level may require waiting many years. Jia Yan knows it’s unlikely to meet another through his galaxy level lifespan who could use his Yin-Yang Dao to achieve peak stellar.

Should such a talented individual reach the galaxy level, Jia Yan wouldn’t hesitate to accept this being as his disciple. His life’s effort creating Yin-Yang Dao would be lonely if he’s the only galaxy-level existence.

Boom boom boom!

Contemplating the future, Jia Yan remained fully immersed in his promotion breakthrough.

His historical promotions were always executed with utmost dedication.

Because each promotion of an evolutionary creature is more dangerous and painful compared to other creatures. Thus, he believes this promotion won’t be exception.

”Hmm... the sense of pain is surfacing.”
