Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2362: Chapter 35: The Northern Starfield Officially Acquired!

Even the top officials of Taia, including Kama, were incredibly excited, each preparing numerous ceremonies to celebrate with the people.

”Haha, Lord Jia Yan, there’s a grand ceremony today, would you be able to attend? You don’t need to stay long, just say a few words with us.”

Kama, urged by the ministers, approached Jia Yan with this request.

Normally, subordinates would never dare to do this, but Kama’s relationship with Jia Yan was not one of superior and subordinate. To this day, they remained friends, though Jia Yan had given so much.

Kama was feeling apprehensive, fearing Jia Yan might refuse. After all, due to Jia Yan’s incredible strength, their relationship had become distant, so much so that Kama didn’t know how to face him.

Fortunately, after some consideration, Jia Yan nodded in agreement.

”Alright, Kama, but I can’t guarantee how long I’ll stay. My immediate priority is still breaking through to the Galaxy Level. As you know, I’m not yet at that level, and my commotion in this vast universe might catch the attention of other Galaxy Level beings who might see me as a threat, given the experience of Evolutionary Creatures from the past, which you’re aware of.”

Seeing Jia Yan explaining so much to her, Kama understood that Jia Yan still considered her a good friend, which eased her worries a bit.

”I understand, Lord Jia Yan. Let’s go; just being there for a while will greatly boost the confidence of the citizens of Taia and enhance our Taia’s position in the Northern Star Domain while allowing us to serve you better.”

Kama realized that although she wasn’t Jia Yan’s subordinate, her actions essentially entrusted the entire Taia to Jia Yan, so showing loyalty was crucial now.

Hearing Kama’s words, Jia Yan smiled slightly and then flew with her to the arranged grand ceremony site.

Truth be told, Jia Yan had seen many similar occasions, and the sudden ceremony in Taia wasn’t particularly grandiose, so he wasn’t too impressed. Watching the celebration in Taia, although there was a big difference in size, the citizens were not much different from Earth people, and he felt like he was watching an Earth celebration.

Moreover, there were indeed quite a few Earth people in Taia.

”Hmm?”

Among the countless joyful crowd, Jia Yan noticed a familiar-looking child of human stature, and after a closer look, wasn’t it their family’s Little Princess ’Jia Ruo’?

How did she end up in Taia again? She’s really good at sneaking around.

Jia Yan paused slightly, not too surprised.

Since a relatively stable passage between Taia and Earth had been established, frequent exchanges of personnel and students occurred, and many Earth students were already in Taia. Jia Ruo probably mingled with the students to reach Taia.

”Wow, Mosquito Ancestor, his alias is just like my Uncle’s name.”

Jia Ruo was hiding in the crowd, surrounded by students from Earth.

This time, she was concealing her identity. Otherwise, as the Little Princess of Earth, she would have received extremely high treatment, which she had experienced too much and didn’t like. Were it not for fewer people in Taia knowing her, she might not have come here.

In the large crowd, Jia Ruo looked around excitedly with her friends, laughing and chatting. Though not very strong within the crowd, there was vaguely even a Semi-permanent Star-level presence guarding and protecting her, so there was no need to worry about safety.

”Hey, are you guys from Earth?”

A few young boys from Taia, noticing Jia Ruo and the others, stopped in their tracks.

”Yes, how could you tell?”

Jia Ruo politely stopped to look at the Taia boys.

There are good and bad people everywhere, Taia included. At least these boys glanced at each other and then conferred heads down.

”There are over ten thousand Earth people in Taia now, mostly from well-off and influential families on Earth. Making friends with them might yield some benefits.”

”Right, and that girl speaking has such an ethereal quality, like a fairy untouched by the mundane world. Her status is probably high. Should we approach her...?”

As these youths murmured, Jia Yan, high in the sky, pondering how to shoo these Taia boys away for daring to bother Princess Jia from Jia’s family, heard a cold voice ring in their ears...

”Scram!”

Jia Yan, flying alongside Kama, receiving the public’s cheers, smiled slightly.

The one who spoke was the Semi-permanent Star-level guard protecting Jia Ruo.

You know, a Semi-permanent Star-level strong one was already considered top-tier in Taia. Having them protect an Earth visitor was indeed a unique luxury.

Of course, this was because Taia understood the status of Jia’s family and acted accordingly.

”Lord Jia Yan, I just got news that the one from Jia’s family just...”

Kama leaned in, just about to inform Jia Yan, but he interrupted her.

”I already know. That Semi-permanent Star-level did very well. Have him come to me sometime, and I’ll give him some guidance.”

”Uh, th-thank you, my Lord!”

Kama was extremely excited and nodded quickly.

Knowing that Taia had no Semi-permanent Star-level beings, the many Semi-permanent Star-level presences they managed to draw in were loyal subordinates they’d invested substantial effort and resources into. Even a bit of guidance from Jia Yan would be an unimaginable boon.

The celebration continued, though Jia Yan paid little mind.

”That Mosquito Patriarch Senior is indeed powerful.”

Walking around the celebration unnoticed, Jia Ruo didn’t realize that the frighteningly pale young men, scrambling away from her earlier, were scared off by her protector. She was still amused at their behavior.

”Yeah, Little Ruo, why does the Mosquito Patriarch defend us Earth people and Taia too? Maybe it’s because they and Earth people share an ancestor.”

A girl beside Jia Ruo curiously wondered why the Mosquito Patriarch would do that.

”Uh, that... I don’t know either.”

Jia Ruo shook her head but gazed upward at the terrifying giant beast hovering like a flying city, a bit of understanding in her eyes.

Normally, family matters within Jia’s aren’t very secretive, but the relationship between the Mosquito and her Uncle Jia Yan was rarely discussed by the elders.

Yet through indirect probing and noticing the elders’ hesitant words, Jia Ruo slowly pieced together that the relation between the Mosquito and Jia’s family wasn’t just of a master or supporter of her uncle.

In fact, describing them as close didn’t even cover it, for her heart already knew the answer, tacitly understood by Jia’s family.

The truth is, the Mosquito was always just one being, whose identity was actually her real uncle—Jia Yan!
