Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2376: Chapter 43: Advancement Achieved (Part 1)

But they absolutely have various ways. For example, once public opinion is controlled, some independent events are always brought up, and then it is very confidently said that the Northern Star Domain is not good, and the future of the Northern Star Domain is bleak, affecting the hearts of the masses and even the officials.

This is the terrifying aspect of winning the public opinion war and even crushing the opponent’s entire public opinion capability.

In the old Earth days, there were too many such examples. On the old Earth, the Stars and Stripes Country, which held the global public opinion entirely in its hands, played with the hearts of other nations’ citizens as if it were a very simple toy. When they wanted the interests of a country, they directly instigated the citizens to start a color revolution, and then they had the reason to intervene.

Otherwise, why would an industrial nation that is slowly falling to second class, with only some level in industries other than innovative ones, mainly rely on ’finance’ and have an average level for hundreds of millions of people ranking among the top few on the entire Earth? Isn’t it because of devouring the interests of other countries and coming out to plunder them once in a while?

The Northern Star Domain is like this now, the only difference is that the Northern Star Domain is much weaker than other countries on the old Earth.

The only reliance is Jia Yan, but now he is still in cultivation, causing the Northern Star Domain to face numerous obstacles even while organizing internally, and even during the annexation into an entire Northern Star Domain Alliance, countless heroic and tragic stories are happening on many planets, forces, and countries.

For example, espionage wars, direct ground army battles, and various under-the-table dark wars.

In short, all these put together make the Country of Taia, the nominal administrator, feel exhausted and very tired, as it has never actually held such great power.

Kama has also been tired these days. Appointed directly and forcefully by Jia Yan as the ’Interim Supreme Commander of the Northern Star Domain,’ she instantly became a well-known powerful Empress in the Northern Star Domain, and many citizens are delving into her past. Even many matters of her past with Jia Yan are being unearthed, including quite a few tabloid pieces like ’The Empress and The Lord Giant Mosquito’ published by the Country of Taia.

Thus she became a hot online celebrity recently, coupled with her immense power, making countless people look at her with peculiar eyes.

So Kama is also very tired.

”Do not lose your cool, everyone. This situation is something that will definitely occur for us. After all, it would be strange if those external forces like Serka didn’t deal with the Northern Star Domain. It’s better to have it appear early than late. Because we’re already in chaos now, as long as Lord Jia Yan is still on our side, we are sure to have no problems, and once all this chaos passes, we will definitely stabilize.”

Kama spoke to the surrounding ministers with such calmness.

Kama had been the Empress of the Country of Taia for decades, and to her, such situations had been encountered many times. But each time, there was a way to deal with it. Even if she couldn’t hold on, mentioning the backing of Jia Yan would bring much support. At the very least, no matter what enemy she faced, they would not dare to kill her outright, and once Jia Yan returned, she could recover everything lost.

In such a situation, Kama believed that she would definitely get through this difficult time.

”Report, in the southeast corner of the Northern Star Domain, another small force is unwilling to acknowledge our Northern Star Domain Alliance, and now the emissary there is besieged, life or death unknown. Should we send a fleet to support?”

Suddenly, a high-level official walked in from outside with documents in hand.

This situation for the present Country of Taia is simply routine.

Because the ’Union Government of the Northern Star Domain’ has not been officially established, not even a complete system is in place, the Country of Taia announced that it would temporarily ’take over the Union Government of the Northern Star Domain,’ which is something many of the bigwigs from the Northern Star Domain who surrendered are very unhappy about, because they believed that by joining the newly established alliance, they would gain high positions and even have the opportunity to overshadow the Country of Taia, which they saw as merely a puppet regime.

But their wishes did not come true. With Jia Yan overseeing in the Country of Taia, they dared not act rashly. The Country of Taia demanded strongly that they hand over military and governmental power first, and they dared not refuse to cooperate. What surprised them, however, was that the Country of Taia had not even temporarily handed over the positions promised beforehand, only saying that positions would be given to them after the Northern Star Domain stabilized.

Wait until it stabilizes? What business would they have after stability is achieved!

Each of these high-level officials was extremely unwilling, but in spite of their unwillingness, they only dared to do minor actions in private, such as assassinating some emissaries sent out by the Country of Taia, or disrupting meetings, and so forth.

But aside from these unwilling ones, there are many who cooperate earnestly, even temporarily willing to forego their own positions, supporting the strong with strong ones, willing to bring out their old resources for battleships.

These are the ones who have understood the current situation. They see clearly that in the end, the Northern Star Domain will be unified as Jia Yan requires it to be, and that a high-level existence occupying massive resources, or certain families or forces, if not integrated into the Northern Alliance, are sure to face extinction, because in the eye of a Star River level existence, no tricks can be played.

The chaos in the Northern Star Domain is akin to a pot boiling over, yet for Jia Yan, still cultivating in subspace, these are merely minor trifles.

Just as those with wisdom in the Northern Star Domain understand, Jia Yan had long realized that the Northern Star Domain would be in chaos, but even so, they would absolutely comply with everything he required under pressure, gradually submitting.

Because this is the strength of a strong one, for a strong one like Jia Yan, no force, or nation, or civilization legacy is of use. As long as the other side does not have matching strength, they can only wait to accept the strong one’s ideology, no matter how unreasonable or unjustified that ideology may seem—they must accept it.

Jia Yan had done such things many times before; only this time, it’s a bit larger of a commotion. For him, it was not unexpected or beyond possibility.

”Is the Northern Star Domain in chaos? Hmm, although it looks chaotic to others, in my eyes, it seems like it’s the last struggle of those forces and nations... Do I need to step in then?”

Pausing his cultivation within subspace, Jia Yan glanced at the Smart Brain.

Then he shook his head, decisively choosing not to go out.

”To be honest, it seems chaotic now, but the resources and even military strength that Kama has in her grasp over at the Country of Taia are becoming stronger and stronger. If she can’t complete the task I assigned her in these conditions, requiring me to step in, then I would be utterly disappointed in her.”

Jia Yan decided to wait and see if Kama can solve the current issues herself; even if it means enforcing through military force, Jia Yan would still think she’s doing well. Of course, if she has a better approach, he would hold her in even higher regard.

”In any case, I’ll leave it to her. I’ll cultivate. As soon as I achieve the Galaxy Level, I estimate as soon as the news is out, the entire Northern Star Domain will likely settle down. However, then I won’t get to see Kama’s performance, which isn’t necessarily a good thing...”

Jia Yan joked with himself; if it were that easy to cultivate to a Star Space Level, why would he be stuck in subspace in this Northern Star Domain for so long?

”It’s been over two months, hasn’t it? I just managed to sort out some of the demands and broad direction for promotion via the Yin-Yang Dao, it’s really too difficult.”

After reviewing the intelligence, Jia Yan stopped caring about so much and directly began observing himself again.
