Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2125: Chapter 40: The Turbulent Country of Taia 2

Of course, other countries don’t know that the ’Mother Star’ behind the Country of Taia is actually weaker than the Country of Taia itself, merely a primary civilization.

That’s right, the so-called Mother Star is Earth.

And Earth’s civilization, indeed, has formed a long-term connection with the Country of Taia because of the recently opened distant pathway. Diplomatic teams frequently travel through the pathway to this planet to engage in trade with Taia.

However, due to the enormous energy required to support the pathway, the people and goods that can traverse it are extremely high-end. At times, there have only been a few dozen people from Earth.

This has resulted in both sides still not fully understanding each other after several years. After all, they haven’t communicated in hundreds of thousands of years. It’s not just a language problem; even in cultural and certain ideological aspects, they cannot immediately understand each other.

On the other hand, several human species on the side of Taia have quickly integrated with each other. Although they haven’t had contact for a long time—even to the point where some were enemies in ancient times—they quickly merged because they had all suffered the same discrimination in the Northern Star Domain for so many years.

Initially, the cooperation between the Country of Taia and Earth or a few species could gradually find a better way of communication. Even the pathway could potentially be expanded with more mature technology, becoming a stable bilateral communication route.

But all this was disrupted at some point with the arrival of a group of stellar-level Strong Ones.

These stellar-level Strong Ones reached an astonishing level of strength.

Upon arriving in the Country of Taia, they immediately demanded to know Jiang Yan’s whereabouts, and if there was no answer, the slaughter began.

In the Northern Star Domain, no one dared to touch the Country of Taia anymore. However, the appearance of these stellar-level Strong Ones stirred restlessness among those who were already dissatisfied with Taia’s rapidly rising power.

Their view of the Country of Taia was never favorable. Especially since the creature Taia relied on was just a being that occasionally appeared and then disappeared. They were only subservient to such a small force because of the potential threat.

But now things have changed. With the appearance of a group of stellar-level Strong Ones, it’s important to realize each of them is at the primary stellar level, possibly even beyond it as some subtly exhibit.

So even if Jia Yan returns, could he really wage war against so many of his peers, even superior beings, for a bit of humiliation to the Country of Taia? Absolutely impossible.

So they began to kick someone when they’re down.

Although they knew they couldn’t oppose Jia Yan and that if he found out they were behind the disruption, they would be in great peril. After all, Jia Yan couldn’t handle a group of stellar-level Strong Ones, yet dealing with a country without such beings would be relatively easy.

But they believed that as long as they acted discreetly, nothing would happen.

Thus, the formerly glorious Country of Taia began to change.

”Your Majesty, the Redblood Country we previously discussed a trade agreement with has now said something about stellar-level Strong Ones investigating their trade with us, severing our trade route.”

A minister hurriedly arrived at the hall where Kama was located, filled with anxiety.

”Let them be. It’s just a trade agreement. Don’t we lack any means right now?”

A girl, with an imposing stature but possessing proportions befitting a ravishing beauty, sat upon the throne, speaking tiredly.

Kama had heard countless similar remarks and situations akin to a collapsing building recently.

But this time, the minister was clearly not as composed.

”But Your Majesty, the trade with the Redblood Country controls most of our country’s energy. If they cut off the trade agreement, our recently initiated energy replacement project will halt. You must know that this project concerns the work and future of nearly an entire generation of our young people, causing national instability.”

”This...”

Kama couldn’t remain calm either.

In recent years, the Country of Taia had indeed become prosperous, especially with trade agreements. Whatever they wanted, no country dared to refuse. Early on, they even arrogantly signed quite a few unequal treaties.

Although later, they reflected upon this, returning to normal and even voluntarily abandoning some unequal treaties, their reputation in the Northern Star Domain stained. Some countries had already prepared to act against Taia once Jia Yan no longer supported the country.

It was once glorious, but that was in the past. Recently, with the arrival of those ’Lords,’ the Country of Taia has finally been like ants crushed in an instant, with no resistance whatsoever.

Even since the arrival of the stellar-level Strong Ones, the entire Country of Taia, from Kama down to the commoners, dared not utter a single complaint.

”Your Majesty, perhaps, perhaps we should just reveal the situation about Lord Jia Yan’s ’Mother Star’...”
