The members of Jia Yan Squad were almost unanimous in their thoughts. Even Jia Yan, after deciding on a ‘tactical retreat,’ convened a meeting.

During the meeting, a group of subordinates who reached the Enduring level, expressed their enthusiastic approval of Jia Yan’s wise and heroic decision, eagerly wanting to leave.

After all, they were capable of recognizing the situation.

Even if they were hiding well, with the Adisa attracting fire from outside, once a real war broke out, they would undoubtedly become targets of frenzied attacks from both sides just by revealing themselves slightly on the battlefield.

One must know that at that time, it might not be just the current pursuit forces, but overwhelming troops, possibly entire teams composed of Enduring levels coming to obliterate them.

Anyone who isn’t afraid is a fool.

Unfortunately, even though Jia Yan decided to leave, the opportunity was not so easily found.

If it were just Jia Yan himself, he could easily escape through subspace. Even if everyone gritted their teeth and abandoned their battleships, they could board the Adisa to leave.

But there’s a significant problem: Adisa’s energy has been depleted again lately, and the level of energy it requires is extremely high. Ordinary battleships don’t have it; only places with high-grade energy mines might have it.

“Lord, so our current mission is to find an energy mine where we can obtain energy?”

The nine subordinates were, of course, a bit uncomfortable with abandoning their battleships, but faced with life-and-death situations, they wisely chose to abandon them. However, when the problem with Adisa’s energy was reported again, they also felt a headache.

“That’s right. The nine of you will go out and search for energy. I need to continue retreating for a few days. If you can find energy, then we still have a chance to leave here.”

Jia Yan commanded from within subspace, unbeknownst to anyone whether he was repairing his injured body or doing something else.

Of course, in the eyes of the subordinates, Jia Yan was just repairing his injured body.

Even though they were reluctant to leave this sheltered place, they had no choice. Staying here would ultimately lead to being discovered one day because they are large Stellar level creatures. If they were only small beings like Earth people, they might be able to hide on a small star, making it difficult for others to find them even after several millennia.

But that’s not the case now. To truly escape danger, they must find energy for Adisa, then abandon their battleships and take Adisa to leave.

“Let’s go, the two of us will take this side, and you guys discuss among yourselves.”

Several Stellar level creatures formed teams, and the female God Spirits also teamed up in pairs, heading in two different directions.

Only the Heavenly Bull Monster sighed and flew alone in one direction.

He wasn’t being antisocial, but because he was now faintly the strongest among Jia Yan’s subordinates, he had to walk a separate path alone.

However, he was soon surprised to find a peculiar distortion existing in subspace beside him, following him.

This entity wasn’t strong, so he quickly discovered it.

“A Subspace Talent? It’s not Lord Jia Yan. If it were Lord Jia Yan, I wouldn’t be able to detect him approaching.”

Tian Niu Lang was suddenly startled, hurriedly releasing a massive power to envelop the subspace, intending to demonstrate combat energy.

“Tian Niu Lang, it’s me.”

Fortunately, just as he was about to show combat energy, there was a distortion in space, and out walked a creature extremely small in stature, even only one hundredth the height of Tian Niu Lang.

“Huh… you are… Jia, Lord Jia Yan!”

Tian Niu Lang was first taken aback, then distinguished the true face of this creature.

Though it seemed diminutive, he didn’t dare underestimate it at all, since he had seen and even conversed with this entity before.

This was indeed Jia Yan’s Earth person avatar body.

Seeing a group of subordinates exploring in different directions, Jia Yan felt there wouldn’t be too many changes regarding his true body. With a sudden inspiration, he sent his avatar to accompany the lone Tian Niu Lang.

Although the avatar’s power seems inadequate on the surface, Jia Yan found out that when his true body became powerful again, the avatar also gained some abilities possessed by the true body, even including the ‘Ripple’ power within.

Of course, the Ripple power that the avatar could use was much weaker, and restricted by the body not being as powerful as the true Evolutionary Creature body, the avatar could only exert the Ripple power for a few seconds.

Yet within these few seconds, if he unleashed all his avatar’s strength, combined with a piece of the Crystal of God brought by Jia Yan as a consumable item, he could even briefly suppress a Stellar level for about one second.

This was already an extremely heaven-defying power. If encountered by a great enemy, within this one second, he could cooperate with Tian Niu Lang to eradicate the target. Relative to his current avatar body, nearly any Strong Ones would find it terrifying.

“Yeah, it’s me, Tian Niu Lang. My avatar will accompany you on this journey.” Jia Yan nodded lightly and then leapt onto the massive body of Tian Niu Lang.

To a human at 1.7 meters tall, the body of a star-level creature measuring over a kilometer felt like a star, immense enough.

“Just keep moving forward. If anything arises, let me know, but spare me the routine matters. My main focus needs to remain on my true body in retreat.”

Jia Yan spoke softly.

Tian Niu Lang understood Jia Yan’s words, didn’t mind Jia Yan flying on him, merely nodded and quickly flew towards the predetermined direction.

The superior watching from the surface of his body motivated him to fly even harder.

A group of nine star-level beings split into nine areas to search for energy. To other creatures, it was like watching massive stars fly by, making it nearly impossible to conceal their forms.

But they calculated the distance; the nearest God System and star-level strong ones were quite far away. As long as things proceed smoothly and they quickly find the energy and return, they can leave this star zone before large star-level combat power arrives.

Of course, whether things will go this smoothly is left to fate and human effort.

Within this area, only two Divine Spirits and one star-level strong one might arrive. Whether they dare to ruffle Jia Yan Squad’s feathers is questionable. Even if they dare, as long as they don’t join forces against a member of Jia Yan Squad, there’s still a chance to escape.

If they do join forces against one, then it’s just unlucky.

“Hurry, present the high-grade energy from this mining star so I can have a look.”

On a yellow star, a massive creature over a kilometer long paused menacingly on the surface.

Before him stood an enormous structure like a giant city, its countless chimneys spewing smoke, with countless biological entities laboring inside, a ‘factory’.

This was a typical mining star, where the laboring creatures spontaneously formed a huge mining city, mainly reliant on the star’s minerals.

And now this rather prosperously unusual mining star was in total chaos due to the sudden appearance of this massive creature.

The star had over thirty factories functioning, each similar to factory cities, but the giant had already destroyed ten of these cities along its path.

The reason was simple: those ten cities adopted an offensive stance, and this terrifying strong one, in fury, used his horrific brainwave power to obliterate those daring to strike back instantly.

“It’s a star level! Heavens, such a small mining star, and a star-level strong one has appeared. Whatever energy he demands, quickly present it.”

“We don’t know what kind of energy he wants, but some of our energy is meant for the God adult. Do we really hand it over?”

“No other choice. If we don’t, we’ll die now. Hand it over and swiftly escape this star. With mining technology, where can’t we survive well in this stellar battlefield? Why seek death?”

The upper echelons of this city were more sensible than the previous ones and quickly presented their best energy.

Among them, sure enough, was the energy that made the star-level strong one’s eyes light up.

“Very good, now I’ll spare you. On to the next city…”

The star-level creature spared all the energy except the super energy, realizing that taking more would be useless and burdensome. During special times, he couldn’t afford to be greedy.

“They’re here, quickly, hand it over; we’re not the first to give in. Even if punishment comes, we won’t be the first to face it.”

One city after another frantically surrendered their high-grade minerals.

Soon after, this massive creature flew off the mining star, just as he claimed. As long as the cities surrendered their high-grade minerals, he didn’t damage them at all.

“Great, I have quite a few high-grade minerals, and if they also have my haul, it should be enough to propel the Lord’s vessel for some distance.”

He felt extremely pleased.

But soon, the star-level creature’s expression changed.

Two creatures as massive as himself were already waiting in the starry sky.

“Jia Yan’s subordinate, eh? You dare to cause trouble within our God Territory. Here’s your chance: reveal Jia Yan’s whereabouts, and we might spare you a complete corpse.”

“Ha, just two Divine Spirits, and you dare challenge me. Do you think that only you have numerical advantage?”

The star-level strong one from Jia Yan Squad chuckled lightly. Then, on an inconspicuous small star in their vicinity, what appeared to be the star’s surface suddenly surged like a wave.

Then it slowly came alive, manifesting as another star-level strong one.
