Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1813: Chapter 11: Order of War—Battle!

Under Jia Yan’s command, the stellar-ranked forces that had been ready to set off quickly rose to action.

Then, under the lead of a figure flying out of the palace, massive shadows of creatures began to slowly rise from the palace.

The city outside the palace was already in awe of these terrifying shadows, and one by one, all the creatures started to bow.

“Oh my god, is this our Taurus God System? No, my Taurus God has already pledged allegiance to the Jia Yan God System. Are these the divine spirits of the Jia Yan God System?”

“With God above us today, we have the rare fortune of witnessing so many divine spirits in person. It is truly an honor.”

Ordinary creatures knelt on the ground, gazing at the huge figures flying overhead like giant cities.

Even Saint-Level Powerhouses appear insignificant compared to a kilometer-long creature like Jia Yan, let alone the ten similarly massive creatures that flew out of the palace all at once.

This was already the number of divine spirits found in a small god system.

“Ordinary creatures, huh?”

Looking at the creatures kneeling on the ground, Jia Yan suddenly felt a wave of emotion.

To know that he only achieved stellar rank not long ago, and just a few years back, he was a half-god on this planet, akin to an ant compared to the stellar-ranked powerhouses.

The surrounding stellar-ranked and god-ranked powerhouses were different. They were used to the reactions of the creatures beneath them, having achieved stellar power long ago. Some were close to their life limits and had long forgotten what it felt like to be weak.

“Lord, in this war, if we do not require reinforcements, how should we fight?”

An elderly stellar-ranked creature couldn’t help himself and turned his head to ask Jia Yan.

The older a creature gets, the more it fears death. This stellar-ranked creature was no exception, dreaming of breaking through to middle-level stellar rank to extend his lifespan.

“Ha, how to fight? Just fight like this.” Jia Yan shook his head lightly.

“Um, Lord, forgive me for speaking frankly. The Stellar Level Alliance has sent several messages asking if we want reinforcements. If you are not confident, why not let them support us? After all, our primary goal is to preserve our strength.”

The elder creature was somewhat distressed by Jia Yan’s words, fearing death. But if Jia Yan does not allow the Stellar Level Alliance to intervene in this battle, Jia Yan surely would not be in danger, yet their stellar-ranked and divine beings could easily perish.

“Say no more, Lord Jia Yan has his own plans. Are you questioning the command of the Lord?”

Tian Niu Lang finally couldn’t hold back and spoke up.

“I dare not.” The elderly creature shivered, quickly apologizing.

“It’s fine, Tian Niu Lang. It’s normal for him to be concerned.” Jia Yan wasn’t blaming the elder creature for his thoughts.

In reality, to him, all the stellar-ranked and divine creatures present had mostly pledged allegiance. Although some still somewhat considered their own interests, most acted well, so even if they occasionally offended him, he chose to forgive.

“I said, just trust me. When we reach the battlefield, regardless of the presence of the Strong Ones, I will ensure your safety. Have I ever let you down?”

Jia Yan said softly.

“Ah, so the Lord had a grand plan all along. This old one worried too much. My previous offense, please forgive me, Lord.” The elder creature was reassured by Jia Yan’s words.

Each stellar strong one and the four female god spirits expressed their trust in Jia Yan with a respectful bow.

The flying speed of stellar-ranked strong ones is incredibly fast. Even though Jia Yan did not lead a group of creatures through subspace action, they still arrived over the palace of the Doragu God System in less than ten minutes.

Beneath the palace, groups of ordinary biological armies were already locked in fierce combat, their shouts echoing to the heavens.

Stellar-ranked forces have their own battlefield while the weaker armies below have theirs. Though they all knew that their current battle could be swayed with a mere breath from stellar-ranked forces, they fought fiercely for even the slightest advantage.

The greatest benefit for these ordinary creatures post-battle might be a promotion in ranks and stable income for life, or a cherished chance for advancement. This opportunity, though laughably simple to stellar-ranked creatures, is what ordinary creatures fight for with their lives.

Of course, the benefits are rare, while the likelihood of death is much higher.

“These soldiers have done well, pushing the front lines here at the risk of their lives. Let them be credited for their achievements.”

Jia Yan casually glanced at the war machine below and spoke.

“Yes.” For the stellar-ranked powers, who felt no significant mood swings regarding Jia Yan’s random words that could determine the fate of millions, all creatures below the stellar level were mere chaff.

“Alright, since we have arrived, let the armies below withdraw.”

Jia Yan and the stellar-ranked creatures did not deliberately hide their shadows upon arrival, so they concealed a major part of the sky, which was quickly noticed by both armies.

Before the order was given, the war continued, but both sides had stopped fighting to the death, knowing that the true battle was about to commence and they, as supporting roles, needed to retreat backstage.

Soon, an order was indeed passed down, and both armies began a rhythmic retreat.

“These are armies that have experienced brutal war. Maybe in the future, one or two stellar-ranked beings might emerge from them.” Jia Yan gazed at the war armies below and spoke softly.

“Lord Jia Yan, you jest. Reaching the stellar level is not so easily attained. Each of us have undergone countless trials before arriving at the stellar stage. These ordinary creatures, no matter how many join the battle, even if multiplied by a thousand or ten thousand times, there would still be no guarantee that any of them would reach the stellar level.”

Tian Niu Lang rebutted Jia Yan’s words from the side.

Jia Yan was momentarily stunned, then realized the error in his words.

Tian Niu Lang was correct. Jia Yan’s own promotion had been relatively easy, leading him to believe that even battlefield struggles could yield individuals capable of reaching the stellar level. Yet, he was unaware that for a normal stellar level being to achieve this, extraordinary talent and vast luck were necessary. Among the soldiers on the battlefield, statistically speaking, reaching the stellar level was a formidable challenge.

“Hehe, enough about this, they have retreated sufficiently. Now it’s our turn to go into battle.”

Jia Yan directed his gaze towards the Dragon Active Spirit Temple poised for confrontation.

The distance between both parties was less than a hundred kilometers, which for stellar level strong ones, was virtually negligible.

“Are you all prepared?”

Jia Yan asked.

Upon hearing his question, all the stellar level strong ones and godling powerhouses tensed.

“Lord, we are ready.”

“Lord, please issue the orders for war.”

“Lord, the Jia Yan God System stands ready to receive your command.”

“Lord, wherever your command points, we will forge ahead, even unto death.”

At this moment, all stellar level beings and female god spirits displayed utmost readiness for command. Even those of the previously hesitant and complexly emotional female god spirits from the original Doragu God System transformed in disposition.

Jia Yan, pleased with the attitude of the stellar level strong ones, smiled inwardly.

“Attack!”

He roared.

“Attack!”

Inside the Dragon Active Spirit Temple, similar cold shouting rose abruptly.

Following Jia Yan’s command, the ten great strong ones around him surged forth.

On the Doragu Temple side, a throng of god spirit creatures similarly charged out madly.

“Attack, attack, attack!”

Faced with a horde numbering over thirty god spirits, the ten stellar level fighters on this side paid no heed to the numerical disparity. Their minds fixated solely on the belief in Jia Yan, they charged forth wildly.

Buzz buzz buzz!

Before both parties touched, a collective of over forty stellar level beings tangled together amidst domains or kingdoms erupted suddenly.

The entire heaven and earth resounded.

In that moment, the ten versus thirty-some battle erupted. Countless eyes across the God Spirit Planet, as well as the gazes of myriad strong ones, turned towards this site.

Not only because of the war that erupted here was the largest stellar level combat since the start of the grand battle, but also due to this being the mysterious Jia Yan’s first confrontation against the two top powers of the God Spirit Planet.

Upon enduring this battle, all strong ones would thus position Jia Yan, who boasted formidable power and terrifying subspace ability.

Is he truly a dragon, or just a serpent?

This is the query on everyone’s mind.

Jia Yan himself, however, will utilize this battle to solidify his status and strength, ensuring that doubtful subordinates and others trust in him.

Even so, this war must absolutely not fail.

Of course, Jia Yan’s ultimate goal is to acquire the Crystal of God!

“Haha, over thirty god spirits, equaling over thirty crystals of god, possibly even including the crystals of the two strongest. Ultimately, how many of these crystals will I acquire?”

Jia Yan smiled slightly, a trace of fierceness emerging.

Indeed, this was Jia Yan’s first occasion witnessing such a large-scale gathering of strong ones in warfare. Even when stellar-level academy strong ones had pursued him, their numbers barely reached over twenty. But now, the stellar level fighting forces at war numbered over forty, marking the first time Jia Yan witnessed a war of such massive stellar level might.

“Let me observe the impact of my latest strength in the current battle!”
