Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1839: Chapter 27: The Spark of War

The result also proved the Lord was right. The strength of the newcomer is at the level of a god king— a mid-level interstellar-class powerhouse. It’s important to note that such a strength is far superior to ordinary mid-tier stellar combat power.

Now, the intelligence in her hand proved that the newcomer’s power was even superior to the strongest in this vast region, the ‘Sky Tower Divine King’, and even severely injured and repelled the Sky Tower Divine King.

“We actually have to face two such strong opponents… haha.”

With a bitter smile, Luo Longsi knew that initially, they were happy for joining Jia Yan’s team, thinking they might become part of the strong ones in the future.

But looking now, Jia Yan actually summoned such powerful beings from afar, chasing the Lord all the way from the Stellar Academy to the edge of Stellar Battlefield. How deep must the hatred be?

And the few female god spirits amongst them were no different. That Sky Tower Divine Spirit definitely wouldn’t spare them; not just him, all the Divine Spirits from the Realm of the Gods wouldn’t spare them upon knowing their betrayal.

“Looking at it now, the bright path we thought was not only not bright, but an extremely arduous road.”

Luo Longsi glanced at a nearby Land of Spatial Distortion, calming her emotions only by gazing at it; otherwise, faced with such a situation, she felt terror would overwhelm her.

Even these two mid-level stellar powerhouses possessed sky-defying strength. But their leader, Lord Jia Yan, managed to escape each time from the hands of these two great strong ones, with not much time in between, and without seeming seriously injured. For their squad, this was the greatest comfort.

With such a powerhouse, they wouldn’t be mere targets for slaughter because outside those two entities, no other strong ones were a match for Jia Yan. As long as they weren’t caught head-on by the two god-king level entities, they could roam vast lands.

“I wonder how the Lord’s injuries are.”

Luo Longsi eyed the twisted land, a worry lingering in her heart.

Being Jia Yan’s subordinates, generally, they wouldn’t easily betray him. This persistence is something they’d still have as strong ones.

Even those five stellar subordinates haven’t left; their mindsets are a bit unstable. This battle, as long as they extract themselves now, wouldn’t mean trouble for them because they didn’t have much direct conflict with those two mid-tier strong ones.

Fortunately, that’s all that’s to it; they figured it best to keep pushing forward. Knowing Jia Yan’s temperament, he definitely wouldn’t tolerate betrayal. If anyone fled, they’d surely be chased and killed by Jia Yan.

Amidst this unrest, inside the Distorted Space, the subordinates assumed the injured Jia Yan wasn’t as hurt as they thought.

“Very well, just relying on a piece of Crystal of God, not only have my injuries recovered this time, but I’ve even replenished much of my lost powers.”

Putting down the shattered Crystal of God, Jia Yan’s eyes sparkled with brilliance.

As an Evolutionary Creature, his absorption abilities are formidable. The Crystal of God, normally unusable by most creatures, had been effectively absorbed by him, harnessing much of its power for his own use.

“Very good, my efficiency in absorbing the Crystal of God has improved from before. Evolutionary Creatures are truly a sky-defying species. If this crystal were used by any other creature, they couldn’t absorb it efficiently, or perhaps not at all. Even among Divine Spirits, the Crystal of God remains unabsorbable, yet I, an outsider species, can harness it. If the Divine Spirit Area knew of my talent, they’d likely launch another massacre against me, wouldn’t they?”

Jia Yan sighed and checked himself again, finding that as expected, his body energy was partially transforming towards the realm of Divine Spirits.

“After fully absorbing the crystals here, my inner Divine Spirit Energy might just be enough to place me at the half-step Divine Spirit level. Then what should I be counted as: a cosmic being or a divine spirit?”

“It’s neither. From now on, my system is the unique Evolutionary Creature system, and my subordinates are cultivating my methods. Although it’s uncertain if each will gain something, if one or two comprehend enough strength, my line would be unique among the universe, wouldn’t it?”

Jia Yan sensed the force within his body, feeling a trace of surprise at his power, but without any hint of anxiety.

The reason is simple: as an Evolutionary Creature, at least based on his observations, his body defies extremes of heat and cold, unaffected even by the absorption of more violent forces, and the Crystal of God didn’t have much reaction during absorption.

Regarding changes in power attributes, Jia Yan was not surprised. His power attributes had shifted several times due to devouring substances, so adding one more change isn’t significant.

The dispute between the Deity System and the Universe Creature System is a non-issue for this Evolutionary Creature, whom most forces aim to exclude.

“Come on then, with so many Crystals of God, my strength should be pushed to the pinnacle of Stellar Class Junior, even breaking through to Intermediate Star Level. When Wu Da arrives, I would be fearless.”

Jia Yan once again picked up a Crystal of God, slowly absorbing the power contained within.

The Giant Mosquito lay on the ground, absorbing the energy inside the crystal. As anticipated by Jia Yan, this energy gradually altered Jia Yan’s energy system.

However, for an Evolutionary Creature, there were means to somewhat control the process of this power transformation.

He intentionally placed the transformation into the Divine Spirit series power in a corner of his mind. Compared to the Stellar level power, this force, which unintentionally altered the past, wasn’t strong, so it didn’t matter much.

The conversion process was extremely slow.

During this period, the creatures of the Stellar Academy were moving through the interstellar space one by one. They discovered that the spatial power they had locked onto was constantly moving back and forth in the starry sky.

“What’s going on? Is Jia Yan playing with us?”

“No, could it be that this guy is stalling for time?”

“Think carefully, could it be that the subspace fluctuations we are tracing, apart from being his own doing, are also possibly caused by something else?”

“That’s right, all along we locked onto his spacecraft. If he’s not in the spacecraft now and has already escaped somewhere else, wouldn’t our search be in vain, and for sure we will end up empty-handed.”

These Divine Spirits guessed correctly. They’ve been led around in circles all this time by Jia Yan’s vehicle, the Adisa.

With Adisa as the Smart Brain, the craft’s maneuvers seemed as though a real person was piloting it. Occasionally, it would even appear to be discovered by a group of Stellar level beings, only to flee in panic.

With its ejection capability, as long as it wasn’t too careless to be caught face-to-face by two Middle Stage Existences, there was almost no danger. In some respects, its escape capability was far superior to Jia Yan’s.

In such circumstances, it kept toying with a group of Stellar Level powerhouses, even deliberately straying to a Divine Spirit gathering point at one instance, inciting a fierce battle between the pursuers from the Stellar Academy and the two Divine Spirits at the gathering point.

The creatures of the Stellar Academy, a pompous group residing with influence around the Stellar Academy domain, never took other regional Stellar Level powerhouses seriously, giving slightly more respect only to the Geniuses from the Genius Battlefield.

This attitude applied towards other Stellar level systems’ strong ones. They gave even less consideration to the Divine Spirit Creatures who were not from the same system as them.

So during several confrontations, the Stellar level beings from the Stellar Academy displayed an exceedingly aggressive demeanor.

In the vicinity of this region, spanning over a hundred light-years, aside from the strongest Sky Tower Divine King, there were two more Divine Spirit Creatures equivalent to ordinary middle-level Stellar powerhouses. Upon learning that these Stellar beings dared to act recklessly even with a fearsome mid-stellar power present, they headed straight to the location.

At the same time, they sought reinforcements from higher authorities. For the Divine Spirit Major Domain, this Stellar Battlefield area, which bordered directly with their domain, could not be annexed into their territory. Nevertheless, it had to remain under their control, leaving no room for error.

Under Adisa’s deliberate incitement, the looming great storm between the two parties was about to erupt.

“Adisa has done remarkably well.”

Meanwhile, elsewhere, within the asteroid region, a group of Jia Yan’s subordinates had received the news. Although they saw their leader alongside them resting in subspace, they still suspected whether it was their master who secretly instigated the impending war.

Upon hearing the news, Jia Yan almost burst out laughing.

However, he quickly stifled his laughter.

“If indeed a powerhouse comes to battle with Wu Da, regardless of the outcome, the arriving force will certainly be an extremely formidable Middle Stage Existence. Since this Stellar Battlefield is not a place where a High-ranking Existence would venture, doing so would merely lead to becoming a target. Thus, the ensuing war will definitely be grandiose. Given Wu Da’s strength, even if outnumbered by the Divine Spirits, an easy defeat is unlikely. With the Stellar Academy’s broad influence, plenty of powerhouses would be willing to lend help. The development of this war is utterly unpredictable.”

“Under such a monumental conflict, we few minor early Stellar level powerhouses are like tiny boats adrift in the waves. The fact that this war stems from us could very well be the trigger of the conflict. Both parties will undoubtedly seek to capture us, posing great danger.”

“Therefore, before it breaks out, I must think of a way… to take my subordinates and escape from here.”
