Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1800: Chapter 48: The Defection Letter

This is already the third batch of stellar-level creatures brought by a group of stellar-level strong ones.

When the first two teams arrived, they were extremely resistant to this obvious new ‘stellar-level strong one,’ because, after all, the vast interests on this planet are limited. With another strong one, they might have to share a certain portion of the interests, especially since Jia Yan’s location is very close to theirs.

However, when they learned that Jia Yan’s real intention was to completely drive out or even annihilate the Divine Spirit Area on the entire planet, each of them felt as if they had heard some absurd statement, thinking Jia Yan was crazy.

They obviously had such a misconception because, according to the current distribution of power on the God Spirit Planet, not to mention a mere initial stellar-level strongman, even a middle-rank creature with slightly weaker strength wouldn’t dare to say they could clear the entire planet. Yet this mere initial level Jia Yan dared to speak such audacious words?

As stellar-level creatures, they always thought that even if a strong one at the same level was more powerful than others of the same level, it was impossible to reach a heaven-defying degree.

But the previous two teams had already witnessed, or perhaps personally experienced, the strength of ‘Jia Yan,’ and at that moment, their inner words were: “Holy shit!”

Because they never imagined that a power fluctuation, clearly from an initial stellar-level strongman, could possess such terrifying strength. His greatest weapon was his bizarre field power, which once moved, would press them harshly.

And this time, the massive stellar-level group might return with yet another version to tell because what he felt was not Jia Yan’s field power but another powerful mind-control ability Jia Yan used with his Brainwave Power. He didn’t recognize it, but surely upon returning, Jia Yan’s strength would likely be elevated to another level by those external stellar-level creatures, right?

This group of external creatures didn’t know Jia Yan’s current strength. In fact, not only them but even the Heavenly Bull Monster, who had been appointed by Jia Yan as a trusted stellar-level strongman by his side, was puzzled by Jia Yan’s strength.

After all, like those strong ones, he felt Jia Yan’s strength was changing every three days. After the last battle, it seemed as if Jia Yan’s strength skyrocketed, rapidly improving.

The field power also seemed to be changing. This time, he felt that Jia Yan’s mind-control Brainwave Power was actually a variant of the field power, yet he had never heard of such an ability and had never seen Jia Yan use it before.

Their confusion is understandable.

Because all these advancements in strength happened after the last battle when Jia Yan’s strength made a rapid leap.

These strong ones had never experienced a talent and pace of strength advancement as fearsome as Jia Yan’s, so their confusion is normal. If a strong one from the Genius Battlefield were coming, they might at least feel a bit more normalized knowing the existence of such a rapidly advancing strength is Jia Yan.

“The strength improvement gained from that battle is really not to be underestimated. So, it’s indeed an excellent option to engage in a battle at crucial moments.”

Jia Yan looked at his own body with much delight. Nowadays, because of using several pieces of the Crystal of God, although he hasn’t fully digested them, he already felt the attribute changes within these crystals have brought him immense strength enhancement.

Perhaps it was because Jia Yan, for so many years, had rarely existed as a cosmic strongman able to directly absorb the Godling Crystal, so the feeling of a different system from stellar-level strong ones within the crystal was also absorbed by him.

“I also borrowed a bit of the attributes of the Kingdom of God; the method just now was one of the manifestations from similar borrowings.”

Jia Yan’s eyes carried a smile, knowing that his strength, in these few days, suddenly reached another level.

“Originally, I intended to continue fleeing when the Stellar Academy team arrived, but now it seems that if I enhance my strength a little more, perhaps I wouldn’t need to be too afraid. Even if I eventually still have to flee, maybe I’ll only do so after teaching them a lesson or two.”

Jia Yan had a clear understanding of the strength of the Stellar Academy team. He also knew that even with his newly enhanced strength, he still wouldn’t be a match for that stellar middle-order powerhouse, not even close. After all, a stellar middle order is a stellar-level middle order, and that middle-order strongman is by no means just an ordinary stellar middle order, so Jia Yan didn’t expect to defeat him either.

But with his potential future strength, he might not flee hastily, possibly even killing a few of the stellar-level strong ones chasing him before escaping using the Subspace Talent.

If he could achieve that, it would definitely deal a huge blow to the chasing team.

Of course, that’s just how he thought, but the actual situation would be decided when the time comes.

After all, with stronger power, he wouldn’t be as fearful anymore. Despite narrowly escaping death last time and killing a few stellar-level strong ones, Jia Yan knew that if he had not been careful, his likelihood of death would’ve been extremely high at that time.

But things are different now; if there’s an opportunity, he might deliver them another blow.

“Lord, several stellar-level teams have responded to our Alliance proposal.”

Just two days after Jia Yan continued honing his strength, a crisp female voice came from outside the palace.

This was Jia Yan’s ’emissary’ dispatched to the stellar-level domain for communication and persuasion, someone Jia Yan didn’t fully trust but now felt a touch of relief in her abilities.

She was none other than Flower God Luo Longsi.

As a powerful Divine Spirit, Jia Long originally intended for her to communicate with the stellar-level creatures here. Naturally, they would look down upon her, and she might even be attacked by strong stellar-level Divine Spirit opponents.

Such incidents did occur. On her first diplomatic mission, even after presenting her visiting card, Luo Longsi was chased by two strong ones from stellar-level territories, almost to the point of her Godling Crystal shattering. Fortunately, after she sent a plea for help to Jia Yan, who had foreseen this scenario, he intervened just in time at the last moment.

That intervention was the reason Luo Longsi’s future actions met no obstacles.

Because Jia Yan directly annihilated those two daring stellar-level creatures who pursued his subordinate, showing no mercy at all.

So, on the subsequent diplomatic missions, although Luo Longsi was still not well-received, she was afforded the highest level of hospitality. Some stellar-level strong ones, not willing in their hearts, even gave small gifts to Luo Longsi to seek her clemency.

Of course, those small gifts were all sent to Jia Yan without exception.

“Very well. In a short time, you have visited all the stellar-level territories around. I didn’t expect you to finish this so quickly.”

Jia Yan looked at this goddess indifferently. After all, they existed in two different realms of power. Even though Jia Yan did not feel a strong sense of belonging with the stellar-level strong ones, that feeling was entirely different from his innate hatred towards the Divine Spirits.

So, even though he had interacted with this Flower God for quite some time, there was still a certain level of estrangement.

“Lord, I have completed your mission and understood your power. Now can you allow me to contact a few of my good sisters? I will let them understand your greatness and have them surrender to you, like me.”

“Go ahead.” Jia Yan nodded indifferently.

For him, it was not possible to swallow the entire Divine Spirit Star in one gulp. At this time, rapidly expanding his victory, collecting a certain number of Divine Spirits as subordinates like Luo Longsi, was not impossible.

Luo Longsi stepped back gratefully, taking a deep breath.

It was known that as a Divine Spirit, among Jia Yan’s group, she was entirely an unwelcome presence. Even Jia Yan, who accepted her as a subordinate, was indifferent to her due to their different systems, which she understood.

“Now, I will go and have a few sisters join Lord Jia Yan. With Lord Jia Yan’s power so formidable, once he fully commands this planet, perhaps we sisters could even share in great benefits. Otherwise, being alone around the Lord is too lonely and weak.”

Luo Longsi thought far ahead. After observing these days, she felt that with Jia Yan’s power, he really could dominate this Divine Spirit Star in no time, so she calculated well.

Firstly, she was genuinely worried about those Divine Spirit sisters because if war broke out, they definitely wouldn’t last long under Jia Yan’s attack. It would be better for them to surrender like her.

Another benefit was that she wanted to establish a small Divine Spirit group with Jia Yan, so at least she could have some companions within the strong contingent surrounded by stellar-level beings.

Not long after that, within the God System’s Land of Duolagu.

Three female Divine Spirits secretly gathered in one place.

“Look, this is the message sent by Luo Longsi. You should have received it too, right?”

A female resembling a beastman said gravely to the other several female Divine Spirits.

“I received it too. Could this be Luo Longsi’s plan to help Jia Yan eliminate us?”

“Doesn’t seem so. I understand Luo Longsi’s temperament. She is quite sentimental, and now she is also isolated over at Jia Yan’s side. It’s genuine that she wants a few partners.”

“Then we…”

The female Divine Spirits exchanged glances, especially upon repeatedly reading the description of Jia Yan’s power in Luo Longsi’s letter. One by one, they solemnly discussed a plan.

“Alright, since we plan to surrender, we should show some achievement first. Just as we are still inside the Divine System, let’s take some actions when the time comes…”

“Indeed, we few females don’t have great impressions of this God System. Those males often harass us…”

The female Divine Spirits surprisingly did not hold their God System in high regard.
