Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1784: Chapter 32: Launching the God War!

On this day, the ‘Dugula God System’ received a ‘declaration of war’ from their neighboring territories.

“What? Those six fellows have actually teamed up and declared war on our God System. Are they out of their minds?”

One of the two strongest entities in the Dugula God System, a creature with ram horns, looked at the delivered declaration of war, somewhat surprised.

“I think we shouldn’t underestimate them. These six have always been suppressed by us. If not for the Stellar Level Alliance backing them, we would have wiped them out long ago.”

“That’s right. There must be a reason for this sudden move by the six. I’ve heard that recently the newcomer who occupied our God System’s border territory seems to have disappeared. I fear he might be behind this.”

“That’s right. I think so too. After all, those six have been dealing with us for so long; they must know their own limits. How could they have the guts to declare war on us? I think it’s the newcomer pulling the strings.”

“Is Lord Jia Yan declaring war on us?”

The Flower God stood behind a group of divine spirits, as one of the divine spirits urgently summoned to the meeting. Her status had plummeted sharply; even though her status wasn’t high before, her position became even lower after her strength temporarily dropped below the Divine Spirit Level. If it weren’t inappropriate not to let her attend the meeting, she might not even have a seat this time.

Others may not know Jia Yan’s personality, but after half a year of contact, she had gained a lot of understanding about this newcomer to the star. After all, even the strongest would reveal a bit of their true nature over six months, which she had sensed.

“This must be that guy… Has he already recovered his strength? No, it should be that his strength is even greater than when I first met him.”

The Flower God gave a bitter smile. She realized that her understanding of Jia Yan was way off, especially regarding his strength. Even when she thought she had an inkling of how strong Jia Yan was, looking back, during the battle with the Three Major Deities, Jia Yan had a significant handicap. Despite this, he fought them evenly, even temporarily stripping her of divine power.

“If his actual strength far exceeded what I saw back then, what would his strength be like now?”

“Luo Longsi, we’re asking you. Do you think the newcomer is likely scheming behind the scenes?”

Suddenly, the space-out Flower God heard her name called.

She was startled and then came to her senses, seeing her fellow God System colleagues looking at her with puzzled expressions, she shook her head helplessly.

“I don’t know if the newcomer is behind the six Major Stellar-levels, but in my view, it’s highly possible.”

Such statements she wasn’t afraid to voice, as there was no way those six stellar-level strongmen would suddenly want to start a war with them for no reason, especially since both sides had been peacefully coexisting for decades. So mentioning the possibility of Jia Yan backing them was quite natural.

Of course, she didn’t intend to share more information about Jia Yan because it might reveal more about her past encounters with him.

“Jia Yan… you plan to attack my God System; what should I do?!”

The Flower God found herself in turmoil, unsure of what to do.

Jia Yan had spared her once, and she was grateful, but there were also friends in the God System, especially several female God Spirits with whom she had excellent relationships.

“Fine, I’ll think of a way to contact Jia Yan after returning and ask him clearly.”

The Flower God made her plan, but unfortunately, Jia Yan gave her and her God System no time to prepare.

Just after the declaration of war was issued, the territories of the six Major Stellar-level strongmen had already mobilized their troops, advancing in vast numbers towards the Dugula God System God Territory!

“The War of Gods is about to begin.”

In the territories of the six Major Stellar-levels, each of the participants looked up at the sky, particularly proud were the creatures in the Taurus Territory.

Because their Mr. Celestial Bull was the leader of this War of the Gods.

Common beings naturally wouldn’t know that the newcomer ‘divine spirit’ was actually the true leader of these seven stellar-level strongmen.

In the sky, several stellar-level strongmen watched the movements below with indifference.

“My Lord, in our planet’s rules, even mortal beings must participate in the war. After all, sometimes the victory of the strong does not mean real victory, and although ordinary beings have little impact on our strength, some of their secret weapons are extremely powerful and can have a certain impact on us in stellar-level battles, causing us to lose the initiative. So, let the mortals fight first.”

“Hmm.”

Listening to the explanation from the stellar-level next to him, Jia Yan nodded noncommittally.

After all, such practices are not unique to this planet. In other galaxy-wide wars, ordinary beings are also sent to their deaths first or used to test the opponent’s backup plans, providing a way for the strong to probe enemy tactics.

But the stellar-level strongmen of the six territories, looking at the numerous warriors from within their own territories, all had wry smiles. They weren’t managing their lands through violence, so seeing familiar beings turned into soldiers was extremely bitter.

If there were no surprises, after this war, the population within their territories would be greatly reduced. Winning meant they could seize population resources from the Thirty Divine Spirits’ territories, but losing?

This thought crossed the mind of every Stellar Level being, but each one, without prior agreement, chose not to mention it.

“The battle has already begun up ahead, let’s go have a look.”

Jia Yan gazed at the army below. The innate troops were already several hundred miles away, engaged with the Dugula Divine System’s border forces. So, he lightly and quickly flew a distance, arriving in the sky, watching the war below.

On the ground, several beings that only reached Earth Level, although having only ordinary biological levels, possessing merely great strength, were engaged in a frenzied battle.

Some of them wielded advanced technological firearms, while others didn’t even use firearms or any thermal weapons, instead fighting with giant swords or other weapons with their bodies.

At the onset of war, both sides fought each other to a standstill, as they were old adversaries extremely familiar with each other. Both sides were similarly strong; otherwise, they wouldn’t have been in a prolonged standoff without erupting into war.

“In just a short time, over two thousand creatures on both sides have already died or been injured. It seems there will be many spirits lost in this war.”

Jia Yan watched the war below without any sense of reluctance.

Just as he had always thought, he wasn’t really one of the life forms on this planet, and most of those fighting below weren’t human-like creatures. To Jia Yan, they were as ants were to Earth people—would an Earth person feel reluctant watching ants fight?

Even if they did, it would be from a God’s perspective.

“I have no experience with this kind of warfare; you take command.”

Jia Yan calmly stated.

And as they reached the very front lines of this war, Jia Yan saw that the great army behind them had indeed arrived.

The numerical advantage was overwhelming; their numbers were nearly tens of times that of the opposite force. In an instant, that enormous border army was directly annihilated.

“Lord, our six territories have assembled a total of three million troops, including several Demigod-level Strong Ones. Even relying on them alone, without involving the Divine Spirits, they should be able to destroy several Gods’ territories.”

A Stellar Level Strongman calmly analyzed to Jia Yan.

“Oh? If, without the intervention of Divine Spirits, they can defeat several Gods’ territories, that is quite impressive. But unfortunately, the Divine Spirits you’re referring to have already arrived…”

Jia Yan nodded, but he quickly turned his gaze in a certain direction.

“Hmm? Lord Jia Yan’s perception truly surpasses us.”

The Stellar Level beings beside Jia Yan also turned their heads at this moment.

Not far ahead of them, a group of extremely holy-looking monsters were slowly flying in from the horizon.

This group of creatures numbered fifteen, each having reached a similar level to Stellar Level.

With their arrival, the music of heaven echoed through, and the mundane army below cheered, as if the arrival of these creatures could greatly boost their morale.

They could certainly boost the spirits, as these creatures were the so-called gods of faith for the defensive Allied Army, the primary target of Jia Yan’s attack this time—Divine Spirits!

“Lord, this is about half of the Dugula Divine System’s gods. I didn’t expect them to come with as many as fifteen gods all at once. We should be cautious; we six together can barely withstand the attack of ten Divine Spirits, Lord you…”

“No problem.”

Jia Yan lightly shook his head.

After saying that, he surprisingly didn’t notify the group of Stellar Levels and, all alone, flew towards the fifteen Divine Spirits!

“What? This newcomer dares to come alone?”

“Damn it, he must be underestimating us.”

On the side of the God System, all fifteen Divine Spirits seemed stimulated, knowing that in such a war, even a powerful Stellar Level wouldn’t dare to come so unprepared in front of their fifteen godly beings.

But, unbelievably, this newcomer just flew over like that!

Didn’t he know the meaning of death?

“Everyone, don’t rush. First, talk to him and see what his purpose is. For him to dare come alone, he must have something to rely on. Do not underestimate him.”

“Indeed, this guy managed to easily escape when besieged by our system’s Three Major Deities last time, no, he even destroyed the Flower God’s divine body along with it. He certainly isn’t simple; let’s first find out his purpose.”
