Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Capítulo 1764: Chapter 12: The Allied Army

For Jia Yan now, half a year has almost become a fleeting moment.

Even though he’s not very old yet, his perception of time has become like that of the strong ones.

After all, every stellar-level creature’s lifespan is calculated in millennia, and Jia Yan has reached the stellar level. In fact, his age, if told, would surely leave every stellar-level being stunned that he’s only fifty years, so he doesn’t care about time at all.

“Over there at the true body, the Ghost’s Blood hasn’t been fully absorbed yet. It seems the absorption effect this time should still be good.”

Upon sensing the fluctuations around the true body’s form, Jia Yan felt slightly pleased.

The greatest pressure weighing on him now is concerning the pursuers from the Stellar Academy, given that there’s a middle-level stellar in that team, and remarkably, a strong existence among the middle-level stellar.

Fairy City has undergone dramatic changes over the past half year.

The surrounding cities and forces have come to know through word of mouth that a strong presence at the demigod level has taken residence in Fairy City, leading to a clear increase in trading volume with Fairy City, and the city’s status has rapidly risen, subtly emerging as the number one city within hundreds of kilometers around.

Of course, in terms of construction, Fairy City still lags far behind, but with funding and fame, catching up with other cities is only a matter of time.

“Lord Jia Yan, here is a letter of worship from the Northern Tribe. Their young tribal chief has come with three saint-level guards to pay a visit.”

“The Northern Tribe, huh, have their ancestor come himself, and maybe then. A mere tribal chief, not worth seeing.”

A stern voice sounded from the inner palace of the City Lord Mansion.

“The lord of your city, Jia Yan, is truly so insolent!?”

Outside the palace, a creature resembling a monkey glared at the palace before him, almost immediately revealing an angry face.

“Mind your words! Lord young tribal chief of the North Tribe, our Lord Jia Yan is not someone you can belittle at will.”

The human race strong man reporting, a sky level man, seeing such audacity from the monkey-like creature speaking ill of Jia Yan, glared fiercely, almost ready to explode in anger.

“A mere silver level, daring to be insolent before me?” That monkey creature showed furious demeanor, about to erupt.

“Young tribal chief, don’t forget where we are.” Behind him, another monkey-like creature, but double the size, quickly stepped forward to restrain him.

After much persuasion, the so-called young tribal chief of the Northern Tribe trembled in demeanor and stayed his hand.

“What Jia Yan, seems to me just a fake boasting name. Wait and see, as even my face is disregarded, our Northern Tribe will not discuss an alliance with you!”

The young chief left in anger.

He’s temperamental, but faced with a figure rumored to easily kill two saints, he dared not be too reckless.

Once he left, a ‘City Lord’ appointed by Jia Yan hurriedly approached the outside of Jia Yan’s palace, pleading to enter.

“Lord, the Northern Tribe came to seek an alliance with either us or the Feathers Tribe. You drove him away, and if they turn to ally with the Feathers Tribe, it could be bad for us.”

This so-called city lord is Mei Ping’s father, but for the past half year, he hadn’t dared to seek Jia Yan except for major affairs.

Because he knows clearly that Jia Yan ahead of him wouldn’t stay long in Fairy City, and soon they must leave too, for how could two earth levels govern a city?

“An alliance? Whatever, if the Northern Tribe allies with the Feathers Tribe, it’s a good time to account for their past disrespect towards me.”

Jia Yan, without lifting an eyelid, sat as if meditating on the throne within the palace.

Of course, he appeared meditating because most of his energy was focused on the true body, absorbing the Ghost’s Blood.

“Ah, alright, as long as the lord has plans in mind. I’ll take my leave.”

The so-called city lord, after glancing at Jia Yan, hesitated to speak, eventually breathed a long sigh and withdrew.

Jia Yan didn’t even care for Fairy City, let alone alliances. To him, it felt like playing music to a cow about alliance pros and cons.

But what frustrated this city lord was, not long after, the Northern Tribe announced an alliance with the Feathers Tribe; they also declared joint hostility, condemning the immortal city’s strongest—Jia Yan—the slayer of the Feathers Tribe’s two greatest sacred combat powers!

Perhaps due to the promise from Northland City’s ‘demigod’ ancestor, the Feathers Tribe, initially indifferent towards Jia Yan, subtly began to stir.

After all, dragging for over half a year, that Jia Yan, the one who slew the Feathers Tribe’s two sacred combat powers, is still unscathed, which is a serious loss of face for the Feathers Tribe.

Thus, taking advantage of this occasion, they started to act.

“That Jia Yan, looks like just a species very similar to the Human Race. I estimate he isn’t a creature from our Divine Continent and probably came from outside, so the Human Race Ancestor definitely won’t help him. We didn’t take action before because even if we could defeat him, there would certainly be some costs. Now, with that old ghost from the North’s promise, it’s enough, though unfortunately, he wants too many things.”

“Ha, what do those things count for? Maybe that Jia Yan has some good stuff from outside. I’ve heard that outside is the boundless Starry Sky. We can’t get out, but since he came from the outside, he might indeed have what we need.”

On this day, in the territory of the Feathers Tribe, two beings worshipped immensely by the entire Feathers Tribe were leaning together discussing something.

These two were actually the two great Demigod-level ancestors of the Feathers Tribe, and the objects of devotion for the ‘Belief Power’ contributed by many creatures in this tribe.

“This battle is related to the face of our Feathers Tribe. Even if that Jia Yan has some means to resist our attacks from three great Demigods, he definitely can’t take care of it all, at least we should drive him away, so we can recover a bit of the face we’ve lost.”

“Right, that’s our primary goal. After all, his power seems quite formidable, but if given a chance… it’s certainly better to eliminate him once and for all to avoid future troubles!”

“Exactly.”

The conversation between the two great Demigod-level beings gradually grew silent.

And in less than half a month, the creatures around this region hadn’t yet recovered from the shock of the alliance announcement between the Feathers Tribe and the Northern Tribe when these two allied races unexpectedly released another deep-water bomb!

The two races were going to crusade against the wantonly slaughtering strongest of Fairy City, ‘Jia Yan’!

“Things are bad, Lord Jia Yan! That, that, the Feathers Tribe has actually formed an allied army with the Northern Tribe, marching towards our Fairy City. Lord, what should we do about this?”

On this day, Jia Yan had just finished training with the slightly older Mei Ping when he heard her father, nearly tumbling in his anxiety, rushing into the palace where Jia Yan was.

As he entered, he saw his daughter, surprisingly sitting on the prominent ‘Lord Jia Yan’s’ lap, playing a string game with Jia Yan…

“This…” For a moment, he forgot what he had come to report, his head buzzing because, although he knew his daughter frequently came to play with this lord, he never imagined Lord Jia Yan would tolerate such close relations with his daughter.

In fact, judging by the situation, the string game appeared to be taught by Jia Yan himself to his daughter.

“This this…” For a moment, he forgot what he wanted to say.

“Oh? The Feathers Tribe and the Northern Tribe have formed an allied army? No matter.”

Jia Yan seemed utterly unfazed; indeed, he had already learned the news the two City Lords had just received through his Brainwave Power.

He continued playing the string game with Mei Ping, creating a pattern that made the little girl giggle repeatedly.

“Lord, their allied army has three Demigod-level Strong Ones. Our Fairy City, surely can’t hold them off.”

The City Lord, hearing Jia Yan’s response, came back to reality regarding the urgent matter. Even ignoring why his daughter had such a good relationship with Jia Yan, he hurriedly continued to report.

“I said it doesn’t matter, and it really doesn’t. Mei Ping, don’t you agree it doesn’t matter?” Jia Yan asked the girl sitting on his lap, smiling.

“Yes, Lord said it doesn’t matter, so it doesn’t matter. Dad, don’t be afraid, Lord is very powerful.” Mei Ping had completely become Jia Yan’s admirer.

“But, but.” The City Lord, seeing his daughter with such demeanor, was almost anxiously unable to speak.

“They have three Demigods, Lord Jia Yan, even if you’re a powerful demigod, you can only deal with two at best, three…”

Jia Yan gave this City Lord an annoyed glare.

“I said there’s no problem, so there’s no problem. Do you not believe me? Go back, we will just wait. Three demigods… ha.”

Upon hearing Jia Yan’s words, the City Lord, though puzzled in his heart, bit his lip and chose not to question further, continuing to bow his head and withdraw.

But as he looked up and saw the playful scene between his daughter and Jia Yan, he smiled slightly again.

If his daughter had such a good relationship with Lord Jia Yan, then perhaps even if the situation became chaotic, Lord Jia Yan might still take care of his family a bit?

He knew his family’s survival completely depended upon being under the shadow of this great God Jia Yan; without him around, they would be swiftly exterminated by numerous people.

The allied army of the Feathers Tribe and the Northern Tribe soon crossed vast lands of other forces, those forces knowing they were just passing through, so merely watched coldly, some small forces and families even opened their gates welcoming and hosting them, wishing them victory to eliminate the heinous ‘Jia Yan.’

It should be noted the sudden rise of Fairy City had brought considerable loss to several city-type forces around, so they wished for the destruction or expulsion of Fairy City’s true pillar and strongest, ‘Jia Yan,’ to come sooner rather than later.

Under such circumstances, the allied forces of two groups finally arrived, mighty and majestic, within the boundary not far from Fairy City.

“They’ve arrived!”
