Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1649: Chapter 15: Earth’s Kin!?

At the moment Jia Yan closed his eyes.

Far away, on a planet thousands of light-years away.

In the deep underground of this planet, a creature almost identical to his avatar slowly opened its eyes.

”I haven’t been back for a while, but this time I won’t stay long.”

Jia Yan looked around at the surrounding lava scene, then shook his body, pushing away the immense pressure of the lava, drilling upwards towards the surface.

In fact, the deeper one goes into any planet, the more perilous it becomes, with pressure unimaginable in its intensity.

Even for the current Jia Yan, drilling into the center of a planet is very difficult; no matter how powerful cosmic strong creatures are, they are still insignificantly small against nature.

On the ground, a large city blossoms with the brilliance of its own civilization.

This is Return City, a city named for the return of the Giant Mosquito years ago.

Though it’s a city developed merely for several decades, it already has the appearance of a huge city, with dazzling lights and unparalleled prosperity.

Yes, this is Earth.

Jia Yan flew over the city, then looked around, arriving at the place where Jia’s family is located.

At this time, Jia’s family has completely changed from before.

It’s not that the terrain or buildings have changed, but the people within Jia’s family, especially the younger generation, have changed.

Jia Qi has grown up; she now spends her days with the fleet, becoming a well-known young captain within Jia’s family, seldom returning home.

Her sister Jia Ruo, on the other hand, has become a ten-year-old girl, much like Jia Qi was back then, becoming a burgeoning brainwave power genius, training diligently under renowned teachers.

As for Jia Yan’s nominal son ’Jia Rong,’ he seems to have become more sociable with classmates and friends, and in Jia Yan’s eyes, his strength has reached the pinnacle of the Early Stars, nearly capable of advancing to the Mid-Starry Sky Period.

Jia Yan thought for a moment and decided not to disturb his family at this time.

Instead, he flew towards the location of the Earth Alliance Headquarters—Shanghu.

The scenery along the way revealed to Jia Yan the rise of a new interstellar force, a thriving atmosphere that is not seen in an established old civilization, or one in decline.

This is where Earth’s civilization shows its greatest potential, particularly because Jia Yan helped lay an extremely solid foundation for Earth’s civilization, and surrounding civilizations, whether more developed or less developed than Earth, admire this civilization.

And over at the Great Empire, it seems that after the war, they began to blockade Earth’s civilization in various ways, but because they don’t resort to force, this blockade hasn’t been very effective.

Of course, the gap between them and the Great Empire cannot be closed in a short time; this involves various aspects that cannot be caught up with in just decades or centuries.

”Alas, the phrase ’things have changed with the passage of time’ describes this feeling, doesn’t it?”

The more Jia Yan looked at the current Earth, with its multitude of advanced technologies and many aliens walking on the streets, the less it resembled the homeland in his memory, which is a form of sorrow for Jia Yan.

However, for most Earth people, this is fortunate. The development of technology and medicine has pushed the average age of Earth people to over two hundred, and it is possible to surpass the three hundred mark in the future.

The increase in lifespan has spurred the accumulation and explosion of knowledge. After all, those who live longer accumulate more knowledge and research results, which can then be passed on to descendants. Thus, through generations, it accelerates Earth’s advance towards a high-level civilization almost geometrically.

Jia Yan looked at Shanghai City, the military and political center of Earth’s civilization, already completely transformed into the human capital, seeming utterly different from the city in his memory that had been ravaged and left in ruins by the Metal Monster incident.

”Perhaps now, there aren’t many people left who remember the battles and the heroes who perished back then?”

Jia Yan chuckled bitterly; the more advanced Shanghai City becomes, the less real it feels to him.

”Alright, stop thinking so much. What I can do is accelerate the progress of Earth’s civilization. Even if I don’t particularly like seeing it.”

Jia Yan shook his head, and then with a body similar to a human’s, he headed towards the ground.

For him, even though Earth has progressed, there is still a significant gap compared to the true civilizations he has seen. He could easily use some small tricks to render all Earth’s detection and warning instruments ineffective.

Jia Yan moved forward all the way and then arrived at the current headquarters of Earth’s alliance.

Here is the place for discussion of all countries within the Earth Alliance, or rather the highest leader assembly place.

The contemporary Earth has almost lost the concept of countries. A series of crises and wars has unprecedentedly united the Earth people. Although there are still roles such as leaders in various countries, they have become nominal positions.

”I am Jia Yan. Please come to the Institute of Civil Affairs. I have something to discuss with everyone.” Suddenly, Jia Yan’s voice appeared in the ears of all Earth Alliance officials.

”Uh... Lord Jia Yan?”

”Quick, Lord Jia Yan is calling.”

A group of high-ranking officials, upon suddenly hearing Jia Yan’s voice, were initially startled, but without any hesitation, rushed directly to the Office of Civil Affairs.

And when they arrived at this office, they saw a man already in the main position, waiting for some time.

”Greetings, Lord Jia Yan!”

”It has been a long time since we last saw you, Lord Jia Yan.”

The group of high-ranking officials quickly and respectfully greeted Jia Yan.

Jia Yan nodded calmly, and seeing that nearly two or three hundred people were present, he began to speak about his ’Star Gate Plan’ to this group, who were essentially the controllers of Earth’s civilization.

The meeting ended soon after.

Yet even after Jia Yan left, this group of several hundred high-ranking officials of the Earth remained in shock.

They were not only shocked by Jia Yan’s plan but also by the ’truth’ he spoke of.

”So... there are, in a very distant outer star, some kind of blood-related kin to us Earth people!?”

”They have already been in the Outer Star Area for hundreds of thousands of years...”

”And now the Lord actually wants us to reconnect with them, to use both parties’ resources and power to create a new level of civilization!?”

Groups of Earth officials were almost in a sleepwalking state.

Every time Jia Yan returns, there are always some astonishing actions, and this time is indeed no different.

Above Shanghai City, a figure slowly rose.

Jia Yan appeared relaxed. He knew that regardless of how the officials below decided, as long as he said it, the plan would definitely be executed.

Of course, he couldn’t think of any reason the Earth’s officials would refuse.

With him around, there’s no need for Earth to fear being invaded by the North Star Domain’s three major blood relatives. And the technology and level of civilization over there aren’t comparable to Earth’s, which means this matter is definitely of great benefit to Earth.

”Speaking on a larger scale, the current situation of the Orion Arm is like a sealed world from outer space, with no contact with the outside. Even if they want to go out, the surrounding starfields are all stronger, and most of them are hostile to the Orion Arm. Given this situation, setting up a distant trade and communication channel is a wise choice.”

The benefits for Earth are indeed numerous, especially under Jia Yan’s control; the Bella clan, Kuditang, and their like pose no threat of swallowing Earth. Most importantly, the Bella and other clans share almost identical bloodlines with Earth people, and their achievements in civilization can almost directly be used by us.

”Of course, it’s also hugely beneficial for the Bella clans. They are almost surrounded in the North Star Domain. Here in the Orion Arm, the starfield is much larger than the entire North Star Domain, with infinite business opportunities, and not everything here is backward. For example, the gravitational wave system isn’t inferior to the North Star Domain. In terms of trade, the Bella clan will definitely gain enormous benefits.”

In this win-win situation, Jia Yan easily obtained Kama’s agreement because the conditions and resources of Earth civilization, even to the Bella clan, were extremely enticing.

It’s believed that Earth will similarly agree quickly.

And within all of this, Jia Yan serves as the ultimate military garrison balancing both parties, ensuring no unexpected conflicts occur under his supervision.

Jia Yan flew all the way back to where Jia’s family was located.

And the people from Jia’s family, upon receiving news of his return, were already waiting outside on the Jia family lawn.

”Xiao Yan, you must be tired. Come, it’s been a while since we last met, your mom made your favorite dishes today, eat before getting busy again.”

Mother Jia, seeing Jia Yan descend from the sky, approached with concern to brush off some dust from his shoulder.

Father Jia remained silent on the side, but from his smiling expression, it was evident that he was extremely happy his son could return home.

Of course, over the decades, the Jia family’s offspring have exhibited extraordinary strength and talent, becoming super powerhouses and warship commanders. To the parents and grandparents, this seemed almost unfathomable, like seeing celestial scriptures. Yet no matter what, these children were still their descendants, and they cherished them dearly.

”Haha, I seem to have come at just the right time. Come on, I really want to taste whether mom’s cooking has improved over the years.”

Jia Yan chuckled, then nodded towards his sister and brother-in-law beside him.

”Little Ruo Ruo has become prettier, just like your sister.” Jia Yan patted Jia Ruo’s little head.

”I’m nothing like my sister,” Little Ruo Ruo retorted huffily at Jia Yan.

”Brother, don’t say she’s like Qiqi. These two little ones, whenever they meet, they either fight or argue. Even with such an age gap, they still manage to cause a ruckus. You saying she’s like her sister will definitely upset her.”

”Uh...” Jia Yan shook his head.

Then he turned to look further towards Jia Rong. Samo Ling seemed to have something to attend to and wasn’t present. Jia Yan, facing this child, didn’t know what to say.
