Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1648: Chapter 14: I Want You to Build the Starry Sky Gate!

On this day, a terrifying piece of news swept across the entire Northern Star Domain.

That is, the leader of the ’Earth Fleet’ who caused panic more than ten years ago, and who is also a strong individual comparable to the Semi-permanent Star Level, has returned!

His name is Jia Yan.

Back then, he caused the entire Northern Star Domain to be in turmoil for a time, even making the central major powers tremble vaguely.

And this time, after more than ten years, he has returned once again, and upon his appearance, he aided the Country of Taia, instantly defeating the thirty-two coalition forces that humiliated the Country of Taia.

Even afterwards, this bio-powerhouse named Jia Yan counterattacked, with the first target being the Red Hall forces. With a single move, he killed both the Red Hall leader and another strongman comparable to the leader, and then the entire Red Hall forces, under his unparalleled threat, had no choice but to sign a humiliating and greatly damaging compensation agreement.

After that, Jia Yan continued to fly forward, and since the thirty-two powers were not far from the Country of Taia, he went from one to another, taking less than a whole day for Jia Yan to forcefully sign agreements with as many as five families. The remaining twenty-odd powers hastily declared their willingness to compensate upon hearing the news, sparing this terrifying strongman the effort.

It must be known that whenever Jia Yan appeared in a place, he would have to kill several strong ones, and those were secondary-level beings, the death of any one of which would cause unbearable pain for these thirty-two powers.

Of course, the cost of compensation is almost unbearable, but do they dare not to compensate?

The thirty-two alliance forces admitted total defeat, knowing that these were the thirty-two powers in the Central Region of the Northern Star Domain, almost first-class aside from those few super-large powers at the very center.

Yet they were still defeated by the Country of Taia! And signed the most humiliating defeat treaty!

No, it should be said they were defeated by just one person.

That person’s name is Jia Yan!

In an instant, the entire Northern Star Domain was abuzz with rumors of Jia Yan, and what he had done in the past quickly spread out as well.

”What? This Jia Yan was merely less than Starry Sky level when he first arrived at our neighbor, the Desolate Galaxy? My heavens.”

”Back then, at the Venerable level, he was able to battle against Semi-permanent Star Level powerhouses and even narrowly win!”

”But it’s strange, the rumored Jia Yan is a flying creature. Although not large in size, he shouldn’t appear as the small Kama of the Bella clan now.”

Regarding Jia Yan’s matters, they spread almost instantaneously throughout the Starfield.

Having accomplished all this, Jia Yan also knew his name would soon be everywhere, but he did not care.

In the past, he feared that if his fame spread, it might attract powerful enemies, but now in this Northern Star Domain, at least for the time being, it’s unlikely there will be any strongman capable of opposing him. In such a situation, is he still scared that his fame is too great?

Moreover, what he plans to do in the future necessitates that the areas around the Country of Taia be stable; otherwise, he wouldn’t dare start that thing.

Settling the last power, and after knowing the remaining dozens of powers had made public statements, he returned satisfied.

”I have many things of my own to deal with and no time to handle the compensations from these powers anymore. Next, I’ll leave it to the professional diplomats of the Country of Taia.”

Jia Yan stepped into subspace, and behind him was a force that had resisted to the end yet had its secondary-level strongmen devastated by Jia Yan’s few attacks.

This is also why other forces hastily issued unconditional surrender declarations.

Not long after, having just defeated the thirty-two allied forces, an unimaginable feat, Jia Yan returned to the Taia Nation Palace.

Jia Yan did not disturb anyone.

He entered the palace hall and saw a serene, beautiful woman sitting quietly within, seemingly waiting for something.

”Karma.”

Jia Yan stepped out of subspace and smiled as he looked at the hall above.

Previously, he was in such a rush he didn’t properly greet Karma, but now he had some time.

”Lord Jia Yan!”

Karma’s eyes lit up, and she promptly stood up.

She still looked the same as she did more than ten years ago. After all, over ten years isn’t long for beings in the universe, and she is a strongman of the Venerable level, so her lifespan is at least several times longer than before. It’s natural for her appearance not to have changed in over ten years.

However, having become the Empress for so long, her aura was completely different, appearing to have transformed from a girl-next-door to a noblewoman with excellent grace.

”Now that the matters are settled, you should announce that those dozens of forces have been defeated by me. Your Government of Taia’s diplomatic envoys can completely go out and receive their compensations. Remember to tell them there’s nothing to fear with me having their backs.”

Jia Yan smiled amicably.

”Yes, I know. My Lord, your current body is...”

Karma looked at Jia Yan’s body and could faintly perceive that this was just one of Jia Yan’s avatars, but the previous battles made her doubt this judgment.

Because if it were merely an avatar capable of defeating dozens of Central Star Area powers, then just how strong was Jia Yan’s true body?

”You’re right. This is just one of my avatars,” Jia Yan confirmed with a smile, affirming her suspicions.

”It’s really an avatar. So, where is your true body now, and what level of power has it reached?”

Upon hearing that the entity before her was indeed an avatar, Kama held her breath and then incredulously asked two questions in quick succession.

She was contemplating that Jia Yan’s true body might well have the mid to high-level power of a semi-permanent star level. If that’s the case, he might even rank in the top three of the Northern Star Domain since the strongest semi-permanent star levels there are just mid to high levels, not even the so-called talents from other starfields.

That’s right, there are no actual geniuses in the Northern Star Domain.

Kama’s breathing quickened.

She was thinking that if Jia Yan’s power ranks in the top three of the Northern Star Domain, the Country of Taia would have a lot of room for maneuver. Perhaps the entire Taia could suddenly leap into the ranks of the top ten powerful forces.

However, Jia Yan did not give her a clear answer.

”Kama, my true body has also arrived in the Northern Star Domain, but I can’t tell you where exactly it is. As for the power level...”

Jia Yan carefully chose his words, feeling that directly stating that he had reached a stellar level would be too ostentatious, and in truth, he could still only be considered quasi-stellar level. At least another year was needed for the true body to cross the threshold to truly be a stellar level.

So he kept it a mystery.

”As for my true body’s power, just believe it can protect the Country of Taia. It certainly won’t let you down.”

Seeing Kama’s slightly disappointed expression, Jia Yan sighed helplessly.

In truth, since meeting, a layer of detachment had formed between them; over the decade, Jia Yan had experienced much, while Kama had been an Empress for long. Their temperaments and experiences were different now, making it impossible to return to the carefree manner of over ten years ago.

Even if they wanted to regain that way of interaction, it would be difficult.

Shaking his head, Jia Yan saw that Kama had nothing to say for the moment, so he directly stated his real purpose for coming to the Country of Taia.

”Kama, the truth is, I came this time because there’s something I’d like to discuss with you, and whether you agree or not is up to your judgment.”

”Please speak, my Lord.”

Kama, hearing the seriousness in Jia Yan’s voice, was stunned and then became serious herself.

Things that even a strongman like Jia Yan would treat seriously were undoubtedly not simple matters, so she had to pay full attention.

”It’s like this, I want to build a Starry Sky Gate in your Country of Taia... I call it the Stellar Gate project,” Jia Yan said.

”Starry Sky Gate? What is that?” Kama was puzzled, unable to find any memory of what a Starry Sky Gate might be.

”Hehe, it’s normal for you not to know because it’s something devised by a technological genius I met in the Genius Battlefield. Of course, only part of it is completed now, and the remaining part requires your Country of Taia’s assistance to complete.”

”A genius from the Genius Battlefield, could it be the one we exchanged technology with earlier? We greatly admire her technological capabilities. So, it’s indeed her invention.”

Though they did not regain their old way of interaction, the two quickly found rapport again after discussing business.

After all, they were naturally compatible, and this familiar feeling allowed them to easily become amiable again.

”So this is the Stellar Gate project. Amazing, my Lord envisioned it this way, and you mentioned that place—is it truly your homeland?”

”Uh... Are you saying that... our Bella clan, the Kudi Tan tribe, and even the Biller tribe might have all originated from there?!”

That night, the entire Taia Nation Palace was lit brightly, with Jia Yan and Kama staying up and talking through the night.

The next morning, at sunrise, orders were suddenly issued within the Taia Nation Palace to convene all ministers for a major announcement.

However, Jia Yan was not mentioned, as he had already returned to the superfast battleship located in subspace.

Within this massive battleship, his diminutive avatar moved with ease and comfort.

”It seems the power fluctuations of the true body are stabilizing, given that more than a month has passed since the promotion, and I can sense the true body starting to coalesce. I wonder how big I’ll become this time,” Jia Yan pondered the ship’s space, where a giant cocoon nearly filled the entire interior of the superfast battleship; the size of the true body might very well surprise Jia Yan.

But this was normal; upon the true body’s emergence, it would be a genuine star-level strong one. Without an appropriate stature, it wouldn’t truly embody the star-level description.

”Alright, things on the true body side are stabilizing, requiring no further attention, and with the Taia side initiating the Stellar Gate project, next, I need to begin liaising on Earth...”

With eyes closed, Jia Yan’s avatar silently retreated into contemplation.
