Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1612: Chapter 9: Don’t Be Afraid, I’m Here

“But we really don’t have any other way. Look, can we ask Mo Ke for help again? The Tianhe Force is in crisis once more,” Tian Tesu said with a bitter smile.

“Ask Mo Ke for help?”

Jia Yan’s expression was peculiar, then he shook his head: “I don’t know what happened with the Tianhe Force, but since I’m a member of the Tian Huo Force, if there’s anything I can help with, I definitely won’t refuse.”

Jia Yan shook his head because he knew that ‘Mo Ke’ was simply a persona he embodied when wearing the battle armor and conceptual ship. But now that he no longer had the battle armor or conceptual ship, Mo Ke could never appear again.

However, even without those two pieces of equipment, his combat power was absolutely not weak, even exceeding what ‘Mo Ke’ had in the Genius Battlefield back then by an untold amount…

The real reason people feared and dreaded Mo Ke was that he could ‘self-detonate’ into a black hole. But now, if Jia Yan wielded all his means, he would not fear even slightly weaker stellar-level beings, not to mention the geniuses in the Genius Battlefield.

Tian Tesu saw Jia Yan’s enthusiastic words and suddenly understood that this genius, who had left the force for ten years, still had a sense of belonging to the Tianhe Force.

So he hurriedly laid everything bare, especially how a few forces from the Dark Realm were exploiting and squeezing the Tianhe Force to its utmost, making the Tianhe Force almost pitiful, with a hidden sense of grievance.

Jia Yan listened to all this, his expression not changing greatly, because he knew that in this universe, there wouldn’t be such unjust oppression. The Dark Realm Forces were definitely acting this way because they benefited from attacking the Tianhe Force. Of course, Jia Yan was sure his past actions were a major catalyst.

“Alright, let me see if there’s any way to help the force,” Jia Yan nodded.

“That’s great, with Mr. Mo Ke’s help, our Tianhe Force will be saved,” Tian Tesu’s face was ecstatic, seemingly very grateful to Jia Yan.

However, he didn’t notice that Jia Yan, in his words, never mentioned ‘Mo Ke’.

Upon arriving at the Tianhe Force, the entire force didn’t seem too desolate. After all, after Jia Yan helped the Tianhe Force back then, it did grow somewhat. Now, even if it’s not doing well, compared to when Jia Yan was in the force, it’s still more powerful.

Prosperity remains, compared to the Wu Ci Force in the external star zone, the difference is like heaven and earth.

“Wow, such a high-standard reception, could it be a lord from some power coming?”

“Impossible, recently, our force has rarely been able to host a lord. I think it must be another small fry from the Dark Realm. Whenever they send a secondary level visitor, we always put up such a show.”

“Heh, true, our Tianhe Force keeps getting bullied like this. If my talent wasn’t too poor, and I couldn’t be accepted by other forces, I would have long joined those geniuses in seeking refuge elsewhere.”

Being so stifled in the Tianhe Force, especially recently, such a big reception is almost always for welcoming those from the Dark Realm who extort us, making everyone in the Tianhe Force coldly eye the person disembarking from the main ship.

“Our Tianhe Force is really too weak. Remember when we had the genius Jia Yan, how much fame he brought! But now, after Lord Jia Yan disappeared for ten years, our force has fallen into decline, practically a sign of impending doom.”

One by one, the ordinary geniuses and workers didn’t hesitate to speak ill of the force.

But just as they were talking, Tian Tesu flew out of the main reception ship with a figure behind him, which stunned the members who had been with the force for over a decade!

“Huh, why does that creature look so much like… Mister Jia Yan?!”

“Oh my god, that’s clearly Mister Jia Yan, could it be Lord Jia Yan has returned.”

“Indeed, look, Xiaoya appeared. She has been cultivating for years, rarely showing up, and now she’s so excited about that creature appearing. It must be her master, Lord Jia Yan.”

The members of the Tianhe Force almost instantly erupted.

You have to know Jia Yan was a representative of the most glorious era of the Tianhe Force in the past few decades. Members of the Tianhe Force back then even believed the force would become a renowned medium force because of Jia Yan.

But with Jia Yan’s disappearance, the Tianhe Force fell into silence. Forget about being a medium force, they could hardly maintain their current level.

But now, this key figure, Jia Yan, had returned again?

“Master Jia Yan!”

Sure enough, waiting for Jia Yan outside the reception ship was Xiaoya, the medium-talented creature of the Mermaid race from the 132 Star Zone, who came to the Tianhe Force with Jia Yan back then.

She seemed more mature now, her monstrous chest vaguely heavier by a ton or two. Seeing Jia Yan, she almost wept with joy and rushed forward.

Xiaoya was also suffering.

As Jia Yan’s exclusive maid, she already had a tough time because Jia Yan wasn’t around—resources weren’t allocated to her, and she was constantly ridiculed by other maids in secret.

Fortunately, ten years ago, when Jia Yan returned, he stood up for Xiaoya once. Since then, she wasn’t assigned any work, but the resources for cultivation were also scarce, and gossip increased. This made her keep her head down for ten years.

So seeing Jia Yan now is like seeing a relative who can stand up for her, prompting her to cry.

“Hehe, don’t cry, if there’s anything, I’ll stand up for you.”

Jia Yan smiled and patted her shoulder with his forefoot.

“Ahem, Xiaoya hasn’t been bullied within the force.” Tian Tesu prompted from the side.

Xiaoya quickly nodded and began explaining on behalf of the Tianhe Force.

Jia Yan, of course, understood this point. As for Xiaoya’s treatment, Jia Yan could only say he was helpless. He had already done enough. They were not exactly on great terms originally, and he had been protecting her all this time, which was already commendable.

Together with Xiaoya, a group of elders from the Tianhe Force came to meet him.

These semi-permanent star level creatures, upon seeing Jia Yan, were like meeting a powerful ally. One must understand that Lord Jia Yan had previously even invited Sir Mo Ke to intervene. A genius with such vast influence appearing during their crisis was not something they could afford to neglect. How could they not flatter him to enlist his help once more?

“It’s been a long time since we’ve all met.”

Jia Yan smiled and then glanced at a certain direction on the Tianhe faction’s main star, a strange look flashing in his eyes.

With his current brainwave power, his probing range was unimaginable for a semi-permanent star level creature. He instantly spotted Tian Rongguang, who was healing on the main star.

“To be injured so deeply, with the body strength of an ordinary genius, it looks like it will take at least a decade to fully recover. For genius beings, a decade is extremely precious. The blow to Tian Rongguang this time is indeed massive.”

Jia Yan’s heart gradually filled with anger, and then he entered the main star surrounded by the elders and other high-ranking members.

“Jia Yan, the North Group is really too much. Recently, not only do they accuse us of being the culprits for annihilating their fleet back then, but they also attribute the raids on some forces to our Tianhe Force, it’s outright slander.”

“That’s right, the North Group, a dark realm force, even claims to want to uphold justice, helping the suffering forces demand compensation from our Tianhe Force. Tell me, aren’t they distorting the truth and manipulating right and wrong?”

“They demand a compensation that would take up most of our Tianhe Force’s funds, even asking us to hand over territorial lands. These are the territories our ancestors fought for, how can we just hand them over!”

As soon as they entered the Debate Hall, the elders began to complain all at once, like they had found the backbone.

Jia Yan listened, feeling dizzy from the babbling. From the mouths of these elders, he understood that the North Group had indeed gone overboard. Squeezing the Tianhe Force was one thing, but demanding to seize interstellar lands was like asking for their lifeline. No wonder even a strong one like Tian Rongguang, known for his good nature, would take the initiative to reason and confront them.

“Not long ago, Lord Tian Rongguang couldn’t stand their demands and went to negotiate. They ambushed him halfway, and even claimed it was done by strong ones from elsewhere. Who in the entire starfield doesn’t know it was their doing, and they’re saying it’s a bitter ploy from us.”

“The Lord of the North Group said that in a few days, several emissaries would come to discuss the specific compensation issues with us. I foresee that the ones coming will surely be strong ones, pressuring us jointly.”

“Calculating the time, it should be these few days. Earlier, we even thought you were part of that emissary group. Fortunately, it’s you, Jia Yan.”

As the elders spoke, Jia Yan was listening half-understanding, until they mentioned that the dark realm would join forces with so-called ‘sufferers’ to demand justice in the coming days…

“Uh?” Jia Yan showed a strange expression for a moment, then shook his head.

Before the elders could comprehend his expression, a deafening roar suddenly surged from above the Tianhe faction’s main star.

“Tianhe Force, we, the victims seeking justice, have arrived. Quickly come out and greet us!”

“Tianhe Force, we, the victims seeking justice, have arrived. Quickly come out and…”

This roar pierced through the sky, shaking the entire Tianhe faction’s main star.

Some talents below the secondary level, or ordinary creatures living on the main star, coughed up blood, severely injured in an instant, nearly losing half their lives.

Even in the main star’s debate hall, a group of elders also paused momentarily. The other side clearly focused their pressure mainly on the debate hall, causing a few weaker elders to stagger back several steps.

“What? They’ve already arrived!”

The expressions of the elders changed in an instant.

“These guys have come with bad intentions, surely wanting to have a fight and dampen our morale.”

“Quickly, Mister Jia Yan, contact Sir Mo Ke, or else it’ll be too late.”

Facing the shock and tension of the elders, Jia Yan first gently emitted a wave of brainwave power to protect Xiaoya, who was on the verge of injury, and then looked to the sky.

After a moment, he spoke.

“Don’t be afraid, I’m here…”
