Suddenly, Daphne felt that she had never been on such intimate terms with the Empire!

She was just a biochemist, while they were the lofty ”imperials” that always appeared so grand in films and TV series!

Daphne hid in her room for a long time...

Outside her room, there was a female ’guard’ who claimed to be there for her protection, but Daphne knew that in fact, he was monitoring her.

At some point in time, unnoticed, her room’s door gently swung open.

”Miss Daphne, do you plan to go out?”

The female guard frowned at Daphne’s glamorous attire and asked in a cold tone.

”That’s right. I’m going out.” Daphne glanced at her and affirmed with a decisive tone in her voice.

”But...”

The female soldier was about to say something when she suddenly felt an incomparably powerful surge of brainwave power assault her mind!

Bang...

She gently slumped to the ground.

”Hehe, perhaps I have been subconsciously wary of this, so until now, the Empire is oblivious to my highly cultivated Brainwave Power from the last three hundred years.” Daphne supported the guard and with a bitter smile, helped her into the room.

Daphne was truly meticulous. Perhaps after learning about the Biochemical State, she wisely held back a hand and didn’t reveal her true strength to the imperial institution.

This sudden display of power was impossible to defend against!

Daphne adjusted her attire. After all, nothing seemed out of the ordinary as she walked off.

”Aside from being unaware of my Brainwave Power, the Empire also doesn’t know about my hacking skills. By now I control virtually all the surveillance in this institution...”

A dangerous allure was flashing within Daphne’s scarlet, enchanting eyes.

”Hehe, a Granny who lived for three hundred years isn’t as simple as you guys imagine.”

This woman moved forward with a smile on her face.

...

That day, a scandal of moderate size broke out at the Grey-Yellow Star Headquarters of the Ru Lan Empire.

A monitored Biochemist of the former Ru Lan Empire had remarkably managed to evade strict surveillance and escape from the Ru Lan Empire headquarters.

She even managed to steal a set of individual equipment that only front-line forces of the Ru Lan Empire could use!

Alongside her disappearance was the gravitation wave experimental data, which had been the focus of a few days of research by the female scholar in the headquarters. All related data in the headquarters had been wiped out by the woman.

”You guys don’t trust me, do you? Then let the stuff I brought help you erase it!”

That was Daphne’s idea.

It could be described as merciless.

This move was an enormous slap in the face to the lax defenses of the Grey-Yellow Star headquarter of the Ru Lan Empire.

And what was most vexing to these headquarters officials was that not long after the woman’s escape, before he had a chance to report this to the upper echelons, an urgent report arrived from Ruilan’s Star, the Capital of the Ruilan Empire.

The file clearly ordered her immediate delivery to the Capital Star and the preservation of all previous research data. The researchers present at the time were also to be sent to the Capital Star, and all other personnel were to be completely silent, not allowing a shred of the research information to leak!

The officials at headquarters were practically at their wits’ end. If this message was received even a bit earlier, maybe the current situation wouldn’t be so grim.

As for Daphne, who left the imperial headquarters and ended up somewhat at a loss.

This woman was walking down the streets of the Sixth City, where she was now was a neighborhood with many Auster people.

Using the large hood she found in the headquarters, she covered her face, her expression blank.

Although she had been so heartless before, the collapse of her hopes and dreams over these past three hundred years, in just a few days, was hard to bear. Although she had taken an individual equipment set with her, she still felt incredibly alone and frail at this moment.

”Today’s news, the Biochemical Foreign Diplomat who visited our city before, has recently visited our neighbor, the Fifth City. The diplomat once answered a reporter’s question, stating that they would not cause a misunderstanding similar to our city. They will abide by the city’s peace act signed two hundred and thirty years ago and make the greatest effort towards the sustainable development of peace on the Gray-Yellow Star. The following is the live report sent by our reporter on location.”

An advertisement message playing by the roadside got Daphne’s attention.

When she saw the white creature that appeared on the holographic TV, her previously indifferent eyes suddenly showed a hint of vitality.

”Yes, I can find him... to go back to Earth.”

Once she thought of it, she suddenly realized that the planet where she grew up, that beautiful blue planet, that place she once spent three hundred years of her life, was her home!

All this talk of the Empire, it was only beautiful in dreams, the real Empire was nothing but smoke and mirrors.”

”The white life form, who has been chasing Big Mosquito’s footsteps before, now she’s in the Fifth City. Perhaps Big Mosquito is nearby, maybe I should go and take a look!”
