The long-awaited Lord Assassin of the Earth Army had not shown up yet. Instead, it was the Solin Team that fired the first shot!

One by one, the artillery vehicles parked at the margins of the Yellow Continent found their targets, and then their cannon barrels turned...

A full thousand cannons of Kooklara caliber aimed at the Earth Army’s thousands of advancing combat vehicles.

Then, a faint glimmer of light appeared from the barrels!

This light was red, indicating that they were fired by the Auster people!

On this planet, the weapons of the Auster people were a manifestation of power!

Boom boom boom boom!!!!!!!!———

After the cannon barrels aimed at their targets, the sound of cannons rang in unison.

After all, the red light weapon is also a kind of energy, not a real beam of light. Thus, they also have a recoil. When these powerful weapons were fired towards the Earth Army at a speed at least a hundred times the speed of sound, the enormous vehicles also recoiled!

The power of these attacks was astonishingly strong!

Boom boom boom boom!!!!!!!!—

Although the Earth Army didn’t have the combat power of the Solin Team, as two teams that could coexist for a long time without being devoured by other teams. The original members of the Orukus Team and the beings of the Rakaf Team naturally had some combat power. A round of attacks could not possibly make them collapse instantly!

Just at the moment the opposing force’s artillery fire started, hoping for the presence of Lord Assassin, but not seeing him, the beings on this side had no choice but to reluctantly switch into combat mode!

After all, Lord Assassin couldn’t be directly involved in everything. Maybe the Lord was in the sky, observing their combat power!?

With this thought, the majority of the beings felt emboldened. If this were before, even though they knew they could engage in a brief encounter with the colossal Solin Team, they would definitely not dare to provoke it!

But now, they had a sense of anticipation, which lifted their combat power!

”Activate vehicle defenses! Small vehicles, evasive maneuvers!”

Orukus suddenly roared out!

Just after he gave the command, a third of the larger vehicles suddenly initiated a thin energy shield on their exteriors.

”Huh?! This energy is similar to the energy shield activated by the Metal Monsters’ buildings when I was on Earth!” Jia Yan, in the sky, noticed that the defensive shield initiated by some of his vehicles looked familiar.

Boom boom boom boom!!!!!!!!———

The opposing electromagnetic cannon fire fiercely hit the vehicles that had activated their protective shields. Instantly, a transparent brilliance started circulating in the vehicles. The attacks, comparable to Earth’s large and intermediate missiles, could only cause these vehicles to overturn and tremble, not causing any additional harm.

Some vehicles were even blasted several meters underground by the powerful cannon fire. But when the dust settled, most of the vehicles were still intact. Even those that were damaged were not severely affected, at least the personnel inside were not heavily harmed!

The firepower of these artillery vehicles, compared to the single-person cannon fire that Jia Yan had endured before, was slightly less powerful. But the appearance of these artillery vehicles did not signal a retreat. They merely traded a smaller power for a more sustained attack!

Boom boom boom boom!!!———

Rows upon rows of artillery vehicles spouted flames one after another. The Earth Army began to suffer casualties!

Those large and medium-sized combat vehicles could use that energy membrane to withstand the opponent’s cannon fire. However, those small combat vehicles were not so fortunate. They could only rely on their nimble bodies to strenuously dodge the red beams amid the downpour of artillery fire!

Previously, when Jia Yan had ordered the Orukus Team to attack the Rakaf Team, it was these small combat vehicles that took the brunt of the attack, which was why Jia Yan didn’t know that those large and medium-sized combat vehicles had defensive energy shields.

”Is that all? I thought they had improved their strength. Turns out they’re just as before, probably took the wrong pills! Hahaha!”

The semi-mechanical monster on the other side, after seeing how frail the ’Orukus, Rakaf Allied Army’ was, burst into mockery.

Fortunately, on the side of the Earth Army, the two united teams were not easy to deal with. Their respective strengths allowed them to survive in a radius of over a hundred li. Now united, they complemented each other—Orukus Team’s cautiousness, Rakaf Team’s boldness. Even if they had just united, it was far from a one-sided fight!

”Fire back! Lord Assassin is watching us from the sky, fire back!”

Orukus was inside his own combat vehicle, which was the best among all vehicles, with strong defensive power, and even a certain ability to fly. But at this moment, he was also disheveled, as part of the artillery fire concentrated on his vehicle!

But thinking of Lord Assassin watching their actions from above, this large frog was excited, as if he had completely discarded his previous cowardice and shouted outright!

Hearing his command, the people of the Rakaf Team naturally sneered. Even if the authority now largely rested with him, these desperados, if not suppressed by Jia Yan’s unbelievably strong power, the mere Orukus would not have been able to control them!
