Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 457: Chapter 12 ’Earth Army’ Initially Formed! [Subscribe]_3

His urgency to strike the next target showed that he clearly enjoyed combat, maybe even hoping to take over everything in his way!

”I hope my judgement is not wrong. Siding with such a being, I’m not sure if it will bring disaster or great wealth in future, but... I’m going all in!”

Oluks felt that he had no way of escaping either. After all, some living beings had tried to flee into the forest under the cover of night before, possibly to evade Big Mosquito’s sight and hearing.

But their corpses were always found the next day. Gradually, all living beings gave up on such ideas.

Furthermore, except for ruling over them, Big Mosquito did not have any other unreasonable demands. Although this might have been him preparing for future demands, with escape impossible, all living beings no longer thought about running away.

Isn’t survival a constant struggle wherever you go? Perhaps under such a powerful entity, life could be a little bit better.

Such was the sorrow of the weak.

Under Jia Yan’s orders, Oluks had already arranged for some individuals to go around the teams and start promoting the advantages of being under Big Mosquito’s rule!

The specifics of those advantages would depend on the outcome of the upcoming battle!

Shortly after, the so-called ”Earth Army”, fully assembled by the next day, once again set out under the gaze of numerous living beings!

This gargantuan team, if actually mobilized, could easily assemble an army of about 15,000. But those additional few thousands, who were mostly elderly, weak, ill, and disabled, might drag down the overall combat power. So, maintaining a regular army of around 8,000 was the best approach. As for the rest, they were to serve in the reserves, which was the most logical arrangement!

Jia Yan took flight from atop the gigantic vehicle.

His compound eyes, gleaming brightly, scanned the horizon.

The marching army of 8,000 living beings, also known as the ”Earth Army” he had named, was fully mobilized!

The great desert was filled with automobiles of varying sizes.

It was a sight that shocked everyone at once!

While Jia Yan was aware of the number of entities under his control, the sight of them transformed into a living, breathing army made the usually calm and composed Big Mosquito’s heart race with excitement!

Below!

There were at least over a thousand fighting vehicles of different shapes and sizes. Some rusty and battered, others shiny and bright, some old, some brand new. It might look chaotic, but these were altogether a thousand battle vehicles!

A thousand battle vehicles, an impressive scale, especially those few which were twenty or thirty meters long. Alongside their escort vehicles, they resembled an Earth aircraft carrier battle group. Their actual combat power should not be inferior to an Earth aircraft carrier battle group, if not higher!

The moving vehicles stirred up a sky full of dust in the desert, a surge of fog blotting out the sun, and within the endless yellow sands, this line of vehicles seemed like a raging bull charging across a desert, intent on crushing and tearing apart everything in its path!

The location of the Solin Team was not on the edge of the forest, but slightly towards the desert interior. Although it could still be considered a border region, compared to other teams, they were blessed, for they possessed a ’Yellow Continent’!

This ’Yellow Continent’ was a place similar to an oasis in a desert on Earth, and was located within a large canyon. It was surrounded by endless yellow sand, but once inside the canyon, it was a world of its own, boasting an environment similar to a forest.

The Solin Team didn’t treat their nest as a place to grow poison, but rather as a permanent dwelling. Their main money-making method was to act as middlemen for nearby teams.

For events or conflicts other teams could not resolve, the Solin Team always stepped in as the peacemakers. Furthermore, being located in a place with good conditions, they welcomed runaway warriors from other teams and smaller teams who wanted to join them. Therefore, it was rumored among teams that this team was the strongest among the dozen or so teams in the surrounding area!

The members of the Solin Team certainly thought so too!

In fact, within this team, because they had a canyon that acted as a permanent base, some members claimed they wanted to establish an underground nation within the canyon!

The boastful Solin Team might not have had the capability to do so, but the fact they dared to voice such an ambition proved they were not weak!

’Yellow Continent’ Canyon.

This place used to have no name, but now, it’s referred to as the ’Sorin Canyon’.

This canyon was more than fifteen kilometers in circumference. Looking down from high above, the ground is slightly indented. Inside, it is entirely covered by grey-yellow trees, distinct from the surrounding yellow sand.

The lush trees could be compared to those that filled the massive grey-yellow forests!

At this moment, within this grand canyon, there were numerous buildings rising high among the ancient trees!

However, their heights did not exceed that of the surrounding trees. So, from the sky above, all you could see was a dense forest, showing no sign of human activity!

This was the team’s greatest trick to evade the scrutiny of the police. After all, on this planet, where the opposing sides’ energy were shielded, for all beings, technological power was difficult to use for detection. Even though the canyon appeared extraordinary, in reality, there were at least a hundred similar places in this vast desert. Who would attract the attention of the police chiefs!?

”Haha, the Oluks Team is definitely going to be wiped out by the Rakaf Team! The old fogey Oluks refused to swear fealty to us earlier, and now he’s going to die!”

I see many readers are worried about my reduced update schedule. I assure you this update of over 5000 words is equivalent to two updates! If you prefer two updates instead, I will return to 2500 words per Chapter, so it will still be 5000 words in total. Which do you prefer?
