But at that exact moment...

Splat! ——

A crisp sound echoed through the air.

The Rakaf Team’s top fighter, known as Lokav, with his crocodile head just exploded like a watermelon amidst that crisp sound!

The ghastly purple blood and revolting innards smeared all over the vehicle!

Simultaneously, a massive figure that had been standing outside his vehicle, ever so slowly, rose in quietness.

He was wrapped from head to toe in subtle Brainwave Power. In the deep night, it was even more surreptitious and went unnoticed.

After a satisfactory glance at the lifeless vehicle, he gently floated upwards.

Heading towards his massive vehicle, he flew lifelessly over!

The news of Rakaf’s death quickly spread throughout the merged ’Earth Team’!

Life forms, one by one, trembled as they watched the massive monster sprawled on the largest vehicle in the team.

Although Oluk, who came out to explain, claimed that Rakaf’s death was accidental, everyone knew that it was the doing of the terrible monster!

How could this monster silently kill a formidable warrior amidst so many life forms being present? What level of strength and cruelty would be needed to kill a warrior who had already surrendered to him?!

Some members of the Rakaf Team were outraged, even preparing to attack the ’Lord Assassin’ at the first sign of trouble.

But before they could take a few steps, the distant Big Mosquito rose straight into the air!

He arrived in front of the Rakaf Team members like lightning, and at once, those who wanted to rebel were struck dead under his feet!

Now, anyone with rebellious thoughts had completely silenced!

Under Jia Yan’s personal power, voices of opposition and questioning gradually disappeared.

Finally, as the bright sun rose, daybreak arrived once again!

A night had passed, and dozens of hours after Rakaf’s death, it seemed as though the members of the Rakaf Team had become accustomed to life without their leader, and they became more obedient. At least on the surface, it seemed so.

”Is this all the nutrient solution you’ve collected from the entire team? Why is it so little!”

Jia Yan questioned, looking at the three bottles of low-grade nutrient solution carefully placed before him.

It was Oluk who brought them. Having gotten rid of his greatest foe and gained true control of the team, there was a newfound confidence in this Frog Monster.

”My Lord Assassin, our team doesn’t require much nutrient solution and this is the largest quantity I could collect,” explained Oluk.

Jia Yan looked at him, and seeing the honesty in his face, nodded his head.

Better than nothing, he thought. Three bottles could, at least, restore some energy so he would not constantly feel hungry.

He collected the bottles under him and asked casually, ”So, how’s the formation of the Earth Army going on?!”

The merger of the two teams was for the formation of his own Battle Squad. Now was the time to start from scratch!

Implementing the names ’Earth Team’ and ’Earth Army’ were his personal ideas. He always viewed Earth as his homeland. Dreaming of forming this team and army were merely distractions for his upcoming actions. His hopes rested on them, collecting what he wanted via their help.

Ultimately, relying on them might even provide him with a way to return to Earth!

In the grand scheme of things, it was merely a whim. It wouldn’t be possible for anyone on this planet to guess his true identity based on this, right? Of course, except for Daphne!

”Reporting to you, Lord, the roster is ready. The First Army is composed of my old team’s fighters, 5000 regulars. The Second Army is composed of former members of the Rakaf Team, 3000 regulars.”

”Oh? This system of independent commands, aren’t you worried the Rakaf Team members might have other intentions?” Jia Yan quickly spotted the potential problem.

”My Lord Assassin, I’ve considered that but your request was to form combat power quickly. If we mix up the team structure of the two armies, combat power won’t form instantly. Thus, I thought this plan was the only feasible one. Under your might, I doubt the Second Army will make any reckless moves.”

Replied Oluk.

Jia Yan pondered on that and quickly accepted the idea. The formation of this ’Earth Army’ wasn’t like any regular army. Each of them had been forced to unite under his powerful domination. Anyone with other intentions could be easily suppressed!

”Alright, carry on as you suggested. Form combat power immediately. In one day, your first target will be the previously reported ’Sorin Team’!”

”Yes!”

Hearing Jia Yan’s command, Oluk’s face changed as he hurriedly agreed.

As a former team leader, hearing Jia Yan’s orders, he knew that the Lord Assassin’s intentions were not modest. The freshly subdued teams were to be consolidated in one day and then deployed. It implied control over the new team and even the members’ count, and he had no understanding about these matters.
