Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 471: Chapter 17 I am a Mosquito! 【Seeking Subscription】_2

”He has no idea that I don’t even want this empty title. If we were to rank the strong ones, I probably wouldn’t be in the top ten in this desert!”

At this thought, Long Wu’s large body slightly stalled.

Seizing this opportunity, Jia Yan jabbed his foreleg once more!

Thud!

He struck the arm of the opponent who had no time to react.

The giant monster roared in anger, but instead of retaliating like a cornered beast, he quickly retreated under the many injuries he sustained!

”If you want to chase, it means we fight to the death. Don’t think I don’t have something up my sleeve!” He roared at the Big Mosquito while taking steps backward in a frenzy.

Jia Yan paused slightly before stopping his advance.

This lifeform resembling a giant was indeed formidable. If the fight continued, even if he would win, he would waste much time. More importantly, his already scarce energy would be depleted further.

”Also, this giant’s backup plan seems to be quite significant. I am confident that I can probably defend against any powerful attack, but it’s not worth it.”

In Jia Yan’s doubt, he regretfully saw that the giant, who seemed to have unleashed some unknown powerful energy, disappear into the vast desert sands, carrying his boomerang weapon.

”Forget it, although the blood of this monster seems to be ten times more potent than the nutrient solution when absorbed, the energy consumed in defeating and absorbing it completely might not be justified. So not worth it!”

Jia Yan reluctantly turned towards the direction he came from and slowly flew back.

The battlefield was more than fifty kilometers away due to their fight. On his way back, he could clearly see the shadows of the forces and groups he passed.

”Turns out the deserts of this planet have become habitats for all kinds of lifeforms. There are so many of them living in a mere couple of dozens of kilometers.” As Jia Yan looked at the lifeforms below, he felt amazed.

This alien planet was vastly different from Earth. Not only in the appearance of life but also in some fundamental knowledge compared to what Earth people knew.

Deserts on Earth were a forbidden zone for life, where a gust of wind blowing up the sand could instantly wipe out a caravan. But on this planet, perhaps due to technological advancements, this was not seen as a hazard at all.

Since there were so many lives, the resources available or useful items would certainly not be scarce!

The potential for development is huge!

There was a hint of brightness in the Big Mosquito’s eyes.

He knew that his past life was somewhat detached from society due to his inability to communicate and for various other factors. Now, on this unfamiliar life planet, where there were organisms even stranger than him, he could entirely immerse himself within society, and maybe try the feeling of being with a community, as a leader!

”But there sure are many powerful beings on this planet. Just a random encounter with a monster was this strong, I need to be more careful from now on.”

Through his encounter with the four-eyed giant monster, Jia Yan felt that he understood a bit more about the combative power on this alien planet.

”Never mind, after going back, I need to thoroughly understand this planet, and this desert...”

Jia Yan sighed inwardly as if he was compromising.

In the past, he instinctively rejected this new world because he was unwilling to admit that he had traveled far from Earth.

He was always fantasizing that if he had another incredible encounter, he could still return to Earth, as if it were within his reach!

But having been stranded on this planet, equivalent to two Earth months, and seeing no possibility of returning to Earth, he gradually compromised in a helpless way. That is -- to try to adapt to this new world...

Little did Big Mosquito know, the giant monster he had defeated had significantly influenced the battles of his ’Earth Army’ subordinates!

The warriors of the Solin Team were all looking forward to ’Lord Long Wu’, who was stationed in their battle squad, to make a move and change the current situation. But the more anxious they were, the quieter the Yellow Continent became!

Not only ’Lord Long Wu’ they were looking forward to made no moves, but the other typically regulated and absolutely defensive ’Automatic Fire’ against the security officer aircraft of the Solin Team also went silent!

The Yellow Continent, which was initially filled with thick killing intentions, had now become as quiet as a common forest. Not only there were no killing intentions, it now seemed like a picturesque tourist spot, as it welcomed the members of the Earth Army to come and take whatever they like!
