Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

However, at this point, he still had certain thoughts about this project. After all, it was now his stepping stone. As a lifeform from an alien star, he had no other ways to find room for growth except through this simple project, leveraging his own strength to gain something useful for himself.

The big and the small continued their journey without uttering a word for a long time. Jia Yan was thinking about Earth’s matters. For him, time was only twenty years, although Daphne knew that the arrival of the exploration ship was just a little over a decade, Jia Yan had always assumed it was twenty, creating a small gap of time.

On the other hand, Daphne’s gaze was flickering as she occasionally looked up at the sky. It was as if her gaze could penetrate the distant horizon and see into the universe, towards some far-off matters!

The speed of their advance was actually not slow because, with Jia Yan’s long strides, even at a slower pace, their progress was on par with a regular vehicle. Thus, it didn’t take long for them to cross the main urban area and reach the relatively desolate Outer City.

As a vassal to the main city, the Outer City not only serves as a habitation for the impoverished, but it also houses some factories and other facilities that are not suitable to be based in the main city. Examples of these are waste treatment plants. The relatively poor lifeforms in the Outer City would not complain about these things. In fact, these factories existed first, and only after that did the poor population emerge!

Those they encountered along the way were still the less affluent extraterrestrial intelligent lifeforms, the ’paupers’ of an alien world, whose living conditions appeared to be rather standard, and even abject poor in some instances. Compared to the lives led by humans on Earth, their conditions seemed far worse, given that this was not a place where civilization truly flourished, but rather a battlefield. Many beings desired to strike gold here, yet the complex environment constantly filled their lives with peril!

Indeed, it was a place where opportunities and risks coexisted!

However, Jia Yan and Daphne didn’t bother with these matters. Even if there was some kind of oppression, it would not possibly impact these two new faces. After all, Jia Yan’s gigantic figure alone was enough to deter any wannabe bullies.

Yes, even among aliens, so-called gang-like organizations exist. Wherever there are intelligent lifeforms, there is competition. And where competition exists, the emergence of such organizations is inevitable. This is basically a rule of life!

As for these thugs who ended up in this impoverished district of the Outer City, their combat power and courage were naturally not strong. Against the so-called Beast-Battling Breeding Farms and those who possess powerful battle pets, they are not to be messed with. These so-called battle pets can only show off their presence around these ordinary ’bad guys’. Perhaps their main combat targets are just these low-level thugs!

However, there was something different today!

Just as Jia Yan and Daphne were approaching Gutan’s Beast-Battling Breeding Farm, located in a rather remote part of the Outer City, a monster of seemingly insignificant size, wearing a cowboy hat akin to Earth’s style, crouched low and blocked the way!

Its body was about the size of an adult human, possibly smaller.

Yet, the emergence of this creature, radiating a power far greater than the Giant Wolf from their previous encounter, registered on Jia Yan’s intuitive sensibilities!

Jia Yan had reached a level of strength where he could intuitively sense the strength of other lifeforms by just observing them stand still, or even their movements, ascertaining whether they were powerful beings or not!

Just then, Jia Yan halted.

”Who are you?!”

Daphne, sitting atop the Big Mosquito’s body, furrowed her brows. Unlike Jia Yan, her individual combat power was not as substantial, and therefore, her senses were not as keen. She couldn’t perceive that this creature was actually a being more formidable than the Giant Wolf that had previously fought against Jia Yan.

”Squeak squeak squeak squeak!! I... stop... pay!” The creature let out a shrill sound, struggling to communicate in the language of the Auster people.

Upon hearing its gibberish, Daphne was taken aback. She never imagined that such a fascinating lifeform could ignore the Big Mosquito’s huge form and dare to rob them while standing in its massive shadow, using a figure that was not much different from an Earth human’s.

The other alien lifeforms they had previously encountered on the street, let alone individual monsters, even the vehicles, slowed down when they saw the Big Mosquito. Jia Yan’s current body was a massive entity of several dozen feet long, even more exaggerated than a regular Earth truck!

All those vehicles feared collision with the Big Mosquito. Whether the Big Mosquito could withstand it or not was unsure, but the vehicle owners knew for certain that their vehicles would most likely be wrecked upon collision. Therefore, they all slowed down when they encountered the Big Mosquito.

Despite everyone avoiding the situation, there still existed such an adorable creature that ignorantly stood alone, attempting to rob them?!

Its combat-power-possessing body that towered as high as a three-story building, cast its shadow over this tiny monster.

As that creature made a strange squeaking noise, Jia Yan grew curious. Did this creature really believe it was powerful enough to confront him? Otherwise, why would it dare to provoke him under such a stark contrast in size?

”Squeak squeak squeak squeak!!!” The creature on the other side was obviously not there merely to talk!

Fighting was its true intention!

All of a sudden, it launched its attack!

With its body hunkered low, it darted towards the place where Jia Yan was situated!

BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!-------------------
