Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 30: Qing Yi and Zhi Ruo Meets

Qing Yi had just finished her training as she made her way out of the training court and back into the pavilion. At this moment, Xuan Hao had still not come back yet and Qing Yi did not mind it so much as she already knew the reason why her master had left yesterday.

”If I manage to awaken my divine physique like master said, will I really be able to cultivate quicker…?” No matter what Xuan Hao had told her earlier, Qing Yi still did not really dare to believe that she actually had a divine physique before actually feeling it for herself.

After all, it was a divine physique! Even outside of the Heavenly Sky kingdom, something like a divine physique was highly valued.

Qing Yi had heard that among the current younger generation of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom, the only other person with a divine physique was the current crown prince of the Heavenly Sky Kingdoms imperial family!

Someone whom she could only look up to. Now that someone was apparently at the same level as her…

Knock Knock

A knocking sound could be heard from the entrance to the pavilion, immediately rousing Qing Yi from her thoughts and bringing her back to reality.

”Ah, I-I will be there in a moment!” Qing Yi quickly called out in a slightly flustered.

She had no clue who would come to her masterʼs peak at this point in time, especially considering that he wasnʼt home at the moment.

Hurrying over to the large front door of the pavilion, Qing Yi slowly opened it and looked out to see who it was.

Outside the door, Zhi Ruo nervously waited as she tightly held her luggage.

”Hello, who might you be…?” Hearing the voice, Zhi Ruo snapped back and immediately introduced herself.

”Iʼm Zhi Ruo! The servant sent by the servant quarters to serve as the servant of elder Xuanʼs disciple!”

”My servant…?” Hearing the voice once again, Zhi Ruo looked at the person in question and saw a beautiful girl around the same age as her.

This should be elder Xuanʼs disciple! Thinking this, admiration shone out from her eyes as she looked at Qing Yi.

Qing Yi was confused as she looked at the girl who proclaimed to be her new servant, stood there and stared expectantly at her. Full of both admiration and awe.

This feeling of admiration coming from Zhi Ruo was relatively new to Qing Yi, as she had mostly felt the disappointing gazes of the other Qing family members back in the Bright Sun City.ʼ

”Are you perhaps someone master requested for…?” Realizing that she had not gone to the servant quarters to request any servant, Qing Yi realized that it was most likely her masters doing.

”Yes! Elder Xuan went to the servant quarters yesterday to request a servant for his new disciple!” Without missing a beat, Zhi Ruo answered honestly.

”I see… Then letʼs find a place for you to stay. Currently, most of the rooms are empty as only me and master stays in the pavilion at the moment.” Looking back into the large, yet empty, pavilion. Qing Yi felt a little happiness upon realizing that she would not have to stay there alone anymore.

Yesterday, when her master had left her alone, Qing Yi had felt quite lonely living in the big pavilion all alone.

The arrival of Zhi Ruo would solve that issue, so even if her master ended up going out to get something again, at least she would not be left alone again.

Zhi Ruo quietly dragged her luggage along as she followed Qing Yi deeper into the pavilion and soon the two made it to an empty room.

”You can stay in this room for now, by the way what are you going to be doing here?” As Qing Yi stopped in front of the entrance to what would be Zhi Ruoʼs new room, she asked curiously.

”From what I know, I should be following you and help in any way I can, cleaning up the pavilion, serving tea or make snacks when needed…”

”Ah, then you can follow me to the dining hall! I was about to go there to get something to eat and meet up with friend as well. Just leave you luggage here for now, you can just unpack it when we get back later!”

”O-okay…” Zhi Ruo nervously put down her luggage in what would be her new sleeping quarters and quickly followed behind an excited Qing Yi, who had already made it down the hallway where the sleeping quarters were located.

The rest of the day, Qing Yi and Zhi Ruo spent outside together with Zeng Shihan.

In the end, the three girls ended up becoming closer after spending the day together.

Xuan Hao had watched the interaction between Qing Yi and Zhi Ruo when they first met and also watched as Qing Yi ran off towards the dining hall with Zhi Ruo following closely behind.

While the opportunity was there, Xuan Hao also used his system to check out the talent of Zhi Ruo.

”Natural talent… 3?” Indeed, nothing amazing and quite average cultivation talent, far from enough to enter the Flying Sword Sect. What was to be expected by someone who chose to become a servant.

Looking closer to see if he had missed anything, Xuan Hao saw that she had a normal physique as well. Nothing was out of the ordinary, just a normal servant.

But even then, Xuan Hao couldnʼt shake the feeling that something was not right.

Well, it didnʼt really matter at the moment, so Xuan Hao decided to throw his suspicions to the side for the moment.

For now, Xuan Hao returned back into his room in the pavilion and took out the Infernal Heart Grass.

Preparing the Infernal Heart Grass for consumption was easy as all he needed to do was mix it together with some water to dilute it.

This way, someone at the Qi Condensation Realm could consume it without dying from the large amount of fire qi inside the Infernal heart Grass.

If any alchemist saw how he ruined the medical efficiency of a peak grade spirit herb like this, they would surely want to take his life personally.

The reaction of the Raging Flame Sect would probably be even more extreme, as the Infernal Heart Grass that could help them breakthrough was wasted in such a manner.
