Charm point maxed out, inheriting game assets

Chapter 1473: Chapter 529: Night of the Investors 1 (Extra)

Inside the black Bentley.

Wang Yubo put down his phone, his expression grim and cold.

”Chairman Wang...” Ren Mingyuan sensed something was amiss with him, tentatively asked in a low voice: ”Did Yuyan still refuse?”

Wang Yubo sneered, ”She hung up on me directly and blocked me on WeChat. It seems she’s dead set on going down this path to the end.”

Ren Mingyuan frowned, his tone tinged with confusion: ”Shouldn’t she reconsider? I’ve already explained the reasoning thoroughly, she should understand what the right choice is.”

As Shen Yuyan’s senior, a successful entrepreneur who started from scratch and now led his company to complete C+ round financing, he was very familiar with Shen Yuyan’s personality and capabilities.

She’s an extremely intelligent woman, with high emotional intelligence and strong intellect, adept at reading the room and knowing how to leverage her advantages to achieve her goals.

Moreover, she is not content with mediocrity, yearning to stand at a higher position, pursuing success in her career and maximizing her personal value.

She has a strong desire to climb upwards, admires strength, ambitious.

Such women usually do not make impulsive decisions.

Even if at the start, out of pride and arrogance, she resists Wang Yubo’s ”recruitment.”

But after a day’s calm reflection, she should realistically recognize the situation and take the opportunity of the event to bow and admit her fault.

Even if it’s only a façade, she should stabilize them first, ensuring Yougou Housekeeping successfully completes its financing.

Yet the fact is — she actually refused.

Wang Yubo lit a cigarette, slowly exhaling a puff of smoke, ”I originally wanted to give her a chance, but now it seems, ha. Since she doesn’t know how to cherish opportunities, then I’ll let her understand her insignificance in the most brutal way.”

Ren Mingyuan hesitated for a moment, cautiously suggested, ”Chairman Wang, doing this is too costly. Perhaps I could try communicating with Yuyan again? After all, our previous cooperation was quite smooth; she might just be impulsive for a moment.”

Wang Yubo glanced at him askance, his voice icy: ”What’s the matter? You care about your junior?”

”That’s not what I meant,” Ren Mingyuan quickly explained, ”I just feel that Youjie Housekeeping is just a small company, not worth us expending so many resources. We can entirely find other alternative plans, why must we...”

Wang Yubo interrupted him, speaking in an indisputable tone: ”Do as I said!”

”Alright... okay, Chairman Wang, I understand.” Ren Mingyuan nodded in resignation, then switched the topic, beginning to report on Win-win Technology’s upcoming financing and listing plans.

In reality, Win-win Technology itself is not truly a big enterprise.

Although the C+ round valuation reached around 460 million, the cash flow is not abundant.

To drive the company’s development and pave the way for the NEEQ listing, they established a strategic investment department, investing externally in small companies with potential business collaboration possibilities, to gain traffic entry points, value-added services, and expand market layout.

For this, they simultaneously contacted four similar small housekeeping companies like Youjie Housekeeping.

They hoped to progressively turn these companies into auxiliary tools for Win-win Technology through vaguely defined yet targeted investment terms.

In comparison, the terms for Youjie Housekeeping were already the mildest.

After all, Shen Yuyan was Ren Mingyuan’s schoolmate and also a key case facilitated by the Entrepreneurship Incubation Park.

For instance, the investment funds split into two payments in the VAM Agreement, under normal business development, there would be no issues.

Even if performance is slightly insufficient, at most, partial control over the company would be relinquished (such as large capital expenditure review), ultimately still able to secure the second investment fund.

As for the buyback provisions, they were almost impossible to trigger.

According to the agreement, only when the company experiences major financial issues, core team members resign, performance drops sharply, and there are illegal violations, would the buyback mechanism be activated.

Therefore, Shen Yuyan and her team agreed and signed back then.

After all, to them, these conditions were almost impossible to occur simultaneously.

It was much more reasonable than the performance targets and listing plans set by other investment institutions.

Even for Win-win Technology, it wasn’t about making them repurchase equity; the money can’t compare to the listing benefits.

Their genuine intent was for Youjie Housekeeping to develop, serving as Win-win Technology’s funneling tool, rather than painstakingly obtaining a failed housekeeping company.

Initially, Wang Yubo’s plan was to use capital operations to oust Shen Yuyan from the core management layer, allowing Win-win Technology to control company operations, then entice her back in with a high salary or position.

This way, they could control the situation while avoiding direct conflict.

However, not only did Shen Yuyan refuse his proposal, she also openly showed disgust and resistance.

This thoroughly enraged Wang Yubo.

To him, this was a humiliation that must be retaliated against.

As the major shareholder of Youjie Housekeeping, holding 44.4%, Win-win Technology has certain control rights, major decision veto rights, and more importantly, the ”joint management account.”

Through these means, they can directly influence Youjie Housekeeping’s business, putting them in financial trouble.

As for illegal or non-compliant actions, they are actually easy to find.

As a housekeeping company, with significant personnel turnover and Shen Yuyan’s strict cost control, there are many aspects worth digging into, such as employee social insurance contributions and resignation disputes.

Once a professional lawyer team gets involved, these won’t be a problem.
