Chapter 815: Chapter 360: Inferior Overcoming the Superior (Thanks to ”No One Else in Sight, Everywhere is You, Wen Ruan” for the Silver League Reward)

The damp evening breeze rustled the leaves of the pagoda tree, making a ”shh-shh” sound.

The shadows flickered on the ground, dappled and mottled.

Tang Song’s figure appeared soft and mysterious under the dim light.

A subtle atmosphere permeated between the two.

Xie Shuyu’s lightly pursed red lips moved slightly, her voice somewhat dry: ”So... you mean to say, you’re actually wealthy and now want to invest in Glimmer Coffee, right?”

Tang Song laughed and said: ”Yes. I remember Sister Shuyu, you mentioned wanting one day to turn Glimmer Coffee into a nationwide chain, establish diverse store types, collaborate with renowned IPs, and build your own supply chain system...

To achieve that goal requires massive funds and resources.

You also said that unless you’re backed by big capital, it’s very difficult to achieve.”

Tang Song released her arm and stepped back half a step, his voice confident and calm: ”And I can help you achieve it.”

Upon hearing the last sentence, Xie Shuyu lifted her bright and spirited eyes, looking at him with a complex gaze.

She was a rational and intelligent woman, able to tell from many details that Tang Song was definitely not joking.

Moreover, after half a year of interaction, if she still couldn’t see through a person, it would be too much of a failure.

Previously, the reason why she valued him so much and wanted to bring him into Glimmer Coffee to fight alongside her wasn’t precisely because she saw his character?

”Actually...” Xie Shuyu sighed, ”We all know the harsh reality of today’s coffee industry. Even if you’re willing to invest so much money, there’s a significant chance of failure.”

The predicament of Glimmer Coffee was only best known to her.

Facing consumption downgrades and the strangulation from large chain brands, it’s very difficult to stand out.

It may even end up being a futile effort.

This was also the main reason she had difficulty raising funds.

”I know.” Tang Song chuckled lightly: ”But that’s okay, I’m willing to give it a try. How about it? Will you accept my investment?”

”Whew~”

Xie Shuyu’s full chest heaved, her mind racing with thoughts.

After a moment, she shook her head and smiled: ”I admit, I’m a very ordinary and realistic person, and won’t refuse such an opportunity. It’s very fortunate to meet you and receive your help.”

Xie Shuyu stepped forward half a pace, proactively extending her hand to him, ”Thank you, Tang Song.”

The reason why Tang Song had the willingness to invest was clearly because of her.

However, she had no reason to refuse.

Nor would she pretentiously feign reservedness.

”Pleasant cooperation, Sister Shuyu.” Tang Song gently shook her hand; it was soft, slender, and cool.

In contrast, Xie Shuyu only felt her entire right hand enveloped by a warm stream, extremely comfortable.

They quietly clasped hands for a moment, then both let go in sync.

Xie Shuyu lifted her head and asked: ”Regarding the shareholdings for the other two shareholders, how much valuation are you planning to acquire them for? Do you need my help?”

”No need, I’ve already contacted them.” Tang Song calmly said: ”They are very unsupportive of your subsequent plans for operation and are quite worried that Glimmer Coffee will lose money, so the valuation they gave isn’t high, 35 million yuan, even lower than Tiancheng Holding’s.”

Xie Shuyu sighed: ”Those two invested in Glimmer Coffee primarily for stable returns, and after hearing my subsequent plans, they were indeed frightened, even suing me. However, even with this valuation, they’ve made a lot of money.”

”Yes, no matter, since they don’t trust you, cashing out early would be good, to avoid any trouble later.”

”Thank you.”

Excluding bank liabilities, the current normal valuation should be over 40 million yuan.

Nevertheless, even at a 35 million yuan valuation, Tang Song would need to come up with over 10 million yuan at once, not to mention subsequent financing.

For an individual, this constitutes a huge cash flow.

It sufficiently demonstrates Tang Song’s attitude towards her.

The evening breeze sweeps past; Xie Shuyu instinctively adjusted her sideburns, her voice becoming gentle and emotional.

The two slowly walked forward along the riverside pedestrian path.

For the first time, Xie Shuyu began to seriously converse with him in a completely equal manner, discussing the development of Glimmer Coffee in recent years.

She started the first Glimmer Coffee in 2017.

In just two years, the store expanded to 4 locations.

Later in the operations, she voluntarily sold 30% of the equity, bringing in two shareholders.

One was the boss of a human resources intermediary company, who could help her get more corporate clients.

The other was a senior executive from a real estate company, who could help rent more suitable plots of land.

At that time, the valuation was less than 20 million yuan.

Relying on relationships in the supply chain and excellent business management methods.

Finally, in 2021, Glimmer Coffee covered the main CBD in Yan City, having 8 stores, and the brand achieved considerable recognition locally, especially among the white-collar crowd.

Now, all of her assets, including cash, real estate, and company equity, amounted to nearly 40 million yuan.

For her, starting from scratch at the age of 32, it was undoubtedly a huge success.

She also harbors her own pride and ambitions; though perhaps confused about the future, she never lacks the courage and confidence to strive.

It’s now past 9 PM.

The two returned to the front of River View Courtyard Restaurant.

Seeing Liu Jiayi still quietly standing by the car, Xie Shuyu’s eyes flickered, but she didn’t say anything.

”Let’s go, Sister Shuyu, I’ll take you back.”

”Thank you for the trouble.”

The faint fragrance wafted into her nostrils, making her feel relaxed.

As the heavy door of the Rolls-Royce slowly closed, Xie Shuyu leaned back on the soft leather seat, taking a deep breath.
