Charm point maxed out, inheriting game assets

Chapter 651: Chapter Three Hundred and Seventeen: His Name Chapter 651: Chapter Three Hundred and Seventeen: His Name Chang’an District, RIDO Clear Bar.

“Ding~~” Crystal-clear wine glasses collided with each other.

Yu Sicheng took a sip of brandy, unbuttoned one of his shirt buttons, and looked at Xie Shuyu, saying, “Besides the consumption downgrade you’ve mentioned, and the continuous squeezing of the market by large chain coffee brands, there’s another important factor.

Some tea shops, fast food outlets, and convenience stores have also started selling freshly brewed coffee.

These cross-industry competitors have certain advantages in store count, customer base, and channels, further intensifying market competition.

For instance, the Hongtu Catering Group I’m connecting with in Yan City is planning to expand their coffee business in their chain restaurants.”

He’s the Vice President of Sales at Jiayi Coffee, and has in-depth knowledge of the market, thus he understands the issues Xie Shuyu is currently facing.

“I understand.” Xie Shuyu nodded calmly, “I’ve considered this possibility since 2020, which is why I’ve been focusing on brand marketing and differentiation competition…”

Light meals in the morning, fruit teas, now baking, and collaborations with Light and Shadow Media, leveraging short video marketing, and developing group meal mini-programs.

These are her efforts to stand out amidst the increasingly fierce market competition.

But Glimmer Coffee is limited by funds and resources, and has reached a bottleneck, starting to decline gradually.

Therefore, she wants to embrace capital and rely on the partner’s ecological resources for a turnaround.

In the past six months, there have been some individual investors interested, like Huang Yangming from Yunli Hotel.

However, the funds these individuals can offer are limited, requiring multiple individual investors to participate together.

This would result in very dispersed equity and necessitate a VAM Agreement, posing significant risks later.

Jiang Yourong quietly listened to their conversation, occasionally taking a few bites of delicious sushi and aromatic grilled meat.

The food at RIDO Clear Bar greatly suits her taste, and she occasionally comes here for a meal.

Tonight, with all the food ordered, the other two showed little interest, allowing her to eat heartily.

The reason for gaining weight was obvious.

At 9 PM.

“Ring ring ring——” A phone suddenly rang.

Yu Sicheng glanced at it and smiled, “I’ll go take this call.”

After speaking, he stood up and walked out of the booth.

After a short while.

Yu Sicheng returned, somewhat apologetically saying, “Sorry, a friend is coming to join us for a drink. Also from Jiayi Group, hope you don’t mind?”

Xie Yutong put down her chopsticks and smiled, “Of course not, do we know each other?”

Yu Sicheng shook his head with a smile and sat down, “You had already left when she joined, she’s currently the assistant in the Group President’s Office, responsible for the coffee business. She’s with me because our client this time is very important.”

“Oh?” Xie Yutong instantly perked up, “She’s very welcome.”

The Chief Assistant of Jiayi Food Group is definitely a valuable connection.

Jiang Yourong’s eyes sparkled, and she chuckled, “Sicheng, is this President’s Office assistant a man or a woman?”

“A woman, we stay at the Hilton Hotel, which is not far from here.”

Jiang Yourong instantly picked up on something from Yu Sicheng’s demeanor and teased, “Could she be your girlfriend?”

“Honestly, she is. But we’ve only been together for a short while, so we haven’t announced it officially.”

Jiang Yourong was momentarily stunned, then laughed, “Really? Congratulations, congratulations.”

“Congratulations, Sicheng. Remember to let us know when you’re getting married.” Xie Shuyu smiled and raised her glass, “This is great news, let’s have a toast.”

Seeing the unperturbed Xie Shuyu, Yu Sicheng sighed inwardly.

She was the girl he had a crush on in college, they graduated then worked in the same group, and unexpectedly, she transferred to the same subsidiary company, making daily business interactions and living very close.

They actually had a lot of fate.

But there was no choice, Xie Shuyu was like an ice cube, never reacting at all.

It seemed in her world, there was nothing else but work.

Then she resigned and went back to Yan City to start her own business.

As a mature and successful man, Yu Sicheng had his own life plans and wouldn’t change them for just anyone.

He actually gave up from that point.

He briefly talked about how he got together with his girlfriend.

Then his phone rang again.

He answered and spoke in a low voice for a few moments.

Yu Sicheng smiled, “She’s here, I’ll go pick her up at the entrance.”

After saying this, he stood up and walked outside.

Xie Shuyu and Jiang Yourong’s eyes followed him to the entrance.

Soon, they saw a waitress leading a girl inside.

In her early twenties, wearing a white halter dress, high heels, carrying a delicate and small golden handbag, and a black gift bag in her hand.

Chestnut long hair, exquisite makeup, accessories, looking youthful and fashionable.

The girl waved at Yu Sicheng, ran up to him, and kissed him on the cheek.

She held his arm affectionately and glanced in their direction.

Jiang Yourong nudged Xie Shuyu’s arm and whispered, “I have a feeling she’s here with ill intentions. Maybe she’s afraid you’ll steal her boyfriend and is here to stake her claim?”

“Hey, don’t joke around.” Xie Shuyu discreetly pinched her waist and stood up from the booth.

Such a young assistant from the President’s Office surely has to have some background.

She definitely didn’t want to make an enemy of her most important supply chain company.

“Tap tap tap——” In the crisp sound of footsteps, the two approached.

“This is my girlfriend, Pei Ya.”

“Little Ya, these are my college friends, Xie Shuyu and Jiang Yourong.”
