Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 1999 - 328: Family Feast 4

”Drinking like this is boring. How about I come up with a riddle for everyone to guess?” Su Mengqing suggested.

”Sure, sure! I love guessing riddles the most,” Wang Yaru said with a childlike enthusiasm, being the first to agree.

The others naturally didnʼt object either.

So Su Mengqing continued, ”It has a big red flower on its head and a colorful coat on its body. It seems like the head of the household, waking people up early in the morning.”

”I know, I know!” Wang Yaru raised her hand. ”Itʼs a rooster.”

Su Mengqing then said, ”A small flying insect with a bright tail that shines like a lamp at night. In ancient times, people used it as a light while studying hard.”

”A firefly,” Wang Yaru was again the first to answer.

”Xiaoru, you donʼt want to take away Tingtingʼs title as the clever one, do you?” Wang Xiner laughed.

Wang Yaru stuck out her tongue shyly. ”If Tingting were here, it wouldnʼt be my turn to answer.”

”That wonʼt do. If only Xiaoru gets all the answers, no one else will have a chance to participate.”

Su Mengqing said, ”How about this: for each riddle, weʼll assign someone to guess. If they canʼt answer, they have to drink a glass of wine. Then weʼll assign another person to try. If still no one can answer, the person who posed the riddle will reveal the answer.”

This idea was great, and the girls became even more excited.

”Liu Bang laughs loudly, while Liu Bei cries. What character is this?” Su Mengqing asked. ”Xiner, you try to guess.”

Wang Xiner thought for a while and complained, ”Auntie, youʼre biased. Why is the riddle so difficult when itʼs my turn to guess?”

”Canʼt answer it?” Su Mengqing smiled. ”Then you have to drink a glass of wine and assign someone else to try.”

Wang Xiner had no choice but to drink a glass of wine and then pointed at Wang Yaru. ”Xiaoru likes guessing. You can try.”

Wang Yaru frowned and thought for a long time before finally taking a sip of wine. ”I canʼt answer it either. Mom Yan, you try.”

”I think itʼs the character ʼCuiʼ,” Su Mengyan said with a smile.

All the girls present were extremely intelligent. They just hadnʼt thought of it before, but after Su Mengyanʼs explanation, they immediately understood.

The character ʼCuiʼ can be broken down into ʼYuʼ and ʼZhuʼ. ʼZhuʼ implies death. The two most famous figures with the name ʼYuʼ in history are Xiang Yu and Guan Yu. When Xiang Yu died, Liu Bang laughed; when Guan Yu died, Liu Bei cried.

Under the influence of both the ”Immortal Drunkenness” and Wang Yueʼs true energy, Su Mengyan was much more cheerful than usual. She not only answered questions but also actively participated. ”Let me come up with a riddle too. What character is ʼReunionʼ? Yalan, you try to guess.”

Wang Yalan thought for a moment. ”Is it ʼGuanʼ?”

Su Mengyan nodded with a smile.

Wang Yalan then said, ”Okay, Iʼll come up with another riddle. What is ʼA lotus emerging from the waterʼ? Grandma, you try to guess.”

”Itʼs a dry lotus flower,” Liu Ruoshi quickly answered. ”Let me come up with a riddle too…”

The girls kept answering and posing riddles. Some were difficult, while others were easy. Everyone had a lot of fun, and they drank more and more wine.

After Su Mengqing answered correctly a question posed by Xue Yan, she suddenly grinned mischievously and said, ”Let me give you another clue: It grows in the middle of the body, has both skin and hair, is about five to six inches long, and is enclosed within its own ʼwraps.ʼ Itʼs Ya Lan.”

Wang Yalanʼs pretty face immediately turned red. She didnʼt know whether to answer or not. In a hurry, she took a sip of her drink. But when it came to deciding who would answer the next question, she faced trouble again. The clue was too explicit, and it was difficult to assign it to anyone.

Liu Ruoshi and Wang Yaning also had reddened faces, fearing that Wang Yalan would assign them this question.

After looking around, Wang Yalan finally chose her target. It had to be a man; assigning the question to him would be less embarrassing.

”Brother, you answer it,” Wang Yalan said, pointing at Wang Yue. But she thought to herself: Brother has grown up now. I wonder if he has something thatʼs five to six inches long?

”Itʼs hard to guess. Auntie, you should give us some clues,” Wang Yue said.

Su Mengqing laughed and said, ”Itʼs a type of crop.”

”I know! Itʼs corn,” Wang Yue replied with a smile.

But Wang Yalan was dissatisfied. ”Auntie, why didnʼt you say so earlier?”

”You didnʼt ask. Itʼs your own misunderstanding. Whoʼs to blame?” Su Mengqing rolled her eyes.

”Okay, okay,” Wang Yue quickly said, ”Now itʼs my turn to pose a question: Iʼm above, and sheʼs below. Iʼm excited, and sheʼs eager to try. In the end, I enjoy it, but she suffers. Itʼs a sport. Second sister, you guess.”

Now it was Wang Yaningʼs turn to blush. She tried to think of another answer, but since her brother had already specified that it was a sport, what else could it be?

How has my brother become so naughty!

Wang Yaning rolled her eyes at Wang Yue and then took a sip of her drink. ”I canʼt guess. Xin, you try.”

”Iʼve seen this online. Itʼs fishing,” Wang Xin said with a smile. ”Second sister, did you also think of something inappropriate?”

Wang Yaningʼs face turned even redder. She wished she could burrow into the ground.

Wang Xin didnʼt tease her anymore and said, ”Now itʼs my turn to pose a question: You lift the warm blanket and touch your legs. You separate your legs and place something on your eyes. Itʼs a daily activity. Grandma, you guess.”

The clue was extremely explicit, making people immediately think of a rather graphic image.

However, after the previous two questions, everyone knew that such explicit clues usually had a pure answer.

But now Liu Ruoshi was slightly drunk, and her desires were stirring. Her mind was occupied by the image described in the clue, and she couldnʼt think clearly. So she also took a sip of her drink and assigned the question to Xue Yan. Only she and Xue Yan were ”experienced” in this regard. Assigning the question to her would be less embarrassing.

Although Xue Yan was also affected by Wang Yueʼs energy, she had faced such situations many times before, so she was less affected. After thinking for a moment, she gave the answer: ”Wearing glasses.”

After everyone agreed with her answer, she posed another question: ”Something is seven inches long at birth. One end has hair, and the other end is bare. Itʼs carefully inserted and moved back and forth. White liquid comes out when it enters and exits. Itʼs a daily activity. Mom, you guess this one.”
